zorba's

not kid friendly. just ate here and let me tell you, good food, ok service, not kid friendly at all. i guess after renovating the place after the fire, the owners ran out of money and decided that a real kid friendly place only needs 3 count'em 3 high chairs. what???? all we got was a pitiful apology from our server, no visit from the mgr, no accommodation, nothing. very disappointed in the 'new' zorba's, needless to say, we won't be returning and i suggest if you go, bring your own highchair if you need one, as they won't have one available.

it was team lunch and we chose this restaurant to celebrate our colleagues b’days. it was a greek and italian restaurant offering great dishes. it was quite empty. we got the table back at the restaurant. i must say our server was well courteous, patient and ready to answer whatever silly question we asked. we ordered 7-8 dishes which includes following

homemade lamb burger-i had it and i must say it was a big chunk of fat lamb juicy patty. quite delicious

buffalo chicken sandwich- it was also good

chicken shish kabab- first i wanted to try this, but one of my colleagues had it and he said it was good.

other folks had steak & cranberries salad, tuna, fish chips, falafel wrap and other dishes and it was all good. only thing was after order, they took almost 40 minutes to serve. never mind food was good and we enjoyed it.

yup one more thing- we ordered from the lunch menu and all item was under $10 so it was well under budget so definitely recommended for lunch and we would definitely come back for lunch.

it's so good to be back!!. i used to live a few blocks from zorba’s and i was somewhat of a regular. i think i have tried almost half of that menu at some point. long story short; i moved to a different part of town and shortly after that, they had a fire. tonight is the first time i have been back since they have reopened and it is even better than i remember. i would recommend a particular dish, but in all fairness, i can’t. you will be amazed at anything on the menu. oh, and the menu is pretty extensive so even if you go with a large group, everyone will find something they like. i must also mention that it is very reasonably priced. :)

the service was stellar and i really love what they have done with the place. it is beautiful! can’t wait to go back!

best tiramisu!. i have been here twice now and i have loved the food both times. the clams casino are perfect and well worth the 20 minute wait! the gyro platter is excellent and although i want to try something else on the menu i keep going back to the gyro!! the tiramisu is out of this world! you definitely need to try this place if you love greek food... opa!!!

super tasty food with great service and prices. i am from new york city and travel south to nc and ga for business. found out about zorba's thru a friend, and made a stop on the way. what a treat! if you like shell fish, try muscles. you won't regret! specialties such as stuffed grape leaves, and hummus are yummy too! i love meat so their new kebap additons were one of my favorites. my wife had salmon and it was moist, nicely seasoned! very good! for desert, i suggest zorba's home made tiramisu. these guys know what they are doing!
when you add great service and super reasonable pricing, this place is a must even for some spoiled new yorker!

wow great food here . this place has a great menu full of great choices. i love the zorbas special its the best. all the waitress are hot here. thanks zorbas for reopening.

i enjoy greek food and zorba’s greek restaurant provided the fix for my greek food attack.  our family pounded down the appetizers; saganaki (greek cheese flambé - very well done), spanakopita (spinach pie in flaky pastry) & dolmades (grape leaves).  plus, they had the best warm bread.  

for the main course, we were treated to delicious eggplant parmigiana & chicken cooked in pastry.  the kids enjoyed the pizza & pasta.  zorba’s is not bashful about the amount of food that they serve.  all of our dishes contain immense amounts of food.  you will not walk away from zorba’s hungry or with a clean plate. 

zorba’s strength is its food.  the atmosphere is average, but the food will knock your dining experience out of the park.

i will not recommend this place. not worth 60$ for diner.

great food! spanakopita is absolutely delicious! the portions are very large! more food on your plate than you can eat in a sitting. the best mediterranean food our family has ever had!

environment: very clean. large booths. feels very roomy. the play traditional greek music.

food: love it. large portions. for locals. i'm sure you'll have a lot to take home.

customer service: excellent. my daughter and i are traveling thru. she was not very hungry and the portions were huge. she loved her dish and they asked if we wanted to take food home. we told them no. because we at traveling. so the manager approached us and assumed she did not like her food and offer to give her any meal on the house. we assured him we loved the food and we were traveling. as a business owner i appetite great customer service.

this place is ok but not worth what you are paying. my 2 guests got very big portions and it tasted great. so, they had a great experience. the first time i went i got lasagna, which tasted like they used ricotta that wasn't mixed well or cottage cheese. honestly i'm pretty certain it was cottage cheese and cottage cheese has no place in lasagna. the next time i went i got a gyro. there was only 4 pieces of meat on my gyro that was $14! maybe someday i will give them another chance because as i said before my friends liked it and they want to go back.

carole fantastic server made our meal delightful. very accommodating about our requested menu tweaks. great food. skip all the "chain food" and go to zorbas

great comfort food, great service. we go once or twice a month and come away wondering why we don't go more often. huge portions, generous drinks, freshly prepared dishes!

it feels like home. tried out zorbas after my friend read about it in ceo magazine! food was excellent, portions to die for! also the manager had to be the sweetest guy! will most certainly go back, especially to try that chicken marsala i was eyeing at the table next to me!
