we were here on a sunday at around 11am. it was quite busy but we didn't have to wait long for a table. it was also relatively easy to find parking. but we had to wait quite a while before our breakfast were served. the coffee came really quick though. the portions were very generous. i had scrambled eggs, salmon, yogurt and fennel. interesting combination but very delicious. the best part is the salted chocolate chip cookie. now i know what everyone is raving about.

very nice. my friend and i shared the roast chicken salad with char-grilled corn and the 12-hour pulled pork salad. both were delicious, the ingredients were top quality and the portion sizes generous. plus i always like it when i can have a filling, flavourful, healthy main that's not based on bread/pasta. i want to return and try more of the menu (though i think we selected the two best items!).
the house-made chai (with bonsoy) is amazing too!

i had high hopes but unfortunately didn’t hit the mark. the haloumi burger was bland and felt like it was missing something. i wouldn’t recommend the fries either, they had a weird consistency like they were air fried.

[invite] bianca: i’ve had marrickville stalwart west juliett on my hit list for many years. mainly due to their famous salted choc chip cookie. the inspiration for my favourite go-to recipe, my pink salt choc chip cookies. its charm lies in its complete unpretentiousness, it’s a suburban cafe in a residential area doing a roaring trade.

first impressions count and boy did they leave one! no matter how busy it got, there's always a waitress making sure that everyone is served. glasses of water were also brought to us without the need to ask for it. coffee art was also not left neglected, even when the takeaway queue was literally out the door. the coffee (beans were from locally

just east of romeo and west of juliett;. on the corner of llewellyn and juliett street in the bustling coffee “district” of marrickville (although the whole of sydney is a café eating, coffee consuming population) lays one of my personal favourite cafes west juliett. with its large industrial styled kitchen and indoor and outdoor seating divided by large windows and bench seats , this café fills this corner perfectly; allowing people (vegetarians included) to drop in for a take away or sit down and devour the deliciousness of the meals on the menu.

love the food here, especially the poached eggs with feta and dukkah, and also their pulled pork sandwich.   the coffee is average, but i prefer to have their fresh juices.  finish it off with their delicious rock salt cookies.

very misleading menu and description. this cafe states it’s got vegan options and is vegan friendly. when i arrived there was literally nothing on the menu that was vegan. not even one dish could be made vegan without removing the main components to it. when i asked the waitress if they had a separate vegan menu she didn’t even know what veganism was. i was told to order the “eggs benedict without the eggs, meat or hollandaise sauce” hahaha- $19 for plain bread. what a joke.

a very cute and quaint location, there was abit of wait when i went during brunch hour. the food was quite nice but nothing stood out to me too much, would still recommend to visit for a coffee if ever in the area since it's a very nice cafe
