i mean the food wasn't terrible but i wouldn't go again. i don't think this place should get away with being in the "healthy food" category either. like yeah there was kale in my salad but it was also 86% dressing. i feel like this is the kind of place that is highly rated by middle aged caucasian housewives who go for brunch with their mothers groups and omg they do the best babycinos (my cat can make a babycino). service wasnt apalling, but overall you get a participation award from me.

cafe ninja

a nice cafe located in marrickville offer a delicious, locally sourced produce close to farm to table menu.

while their healthy menu options are delicious but they also have tasty burgers and sides for those who needs more to their meals.

well worth a visit and try out their waffle and burgers. i need to visit again to try their pancakes.

until next time .... keep eating!!!

always a long wait to get a table but great food, and lovely atmosphere. i prefer their lunch to their breakfast menu though. always a great array of freshly baked desserts on offer, and fresh homemade sodas and juices. a bit pricey but understandable as their popularity has increased.

everything was delicious.
came here cause of the good reviews on zomato and it didn't disappoint. service was attentive. good menu with lots of yum breakfast and brunch options. i had the portobello mushroom benedict and it was perfection. slight truffle taste in the hollandaise and kale added to the texture of the whole dish. husband ordered smashed avo dish witch came with hazelnut dukka. he got scrambled eggs instead of poached. he also added mushrooms and bacon. he loved every bit. everything cooked well. good quality ingredients including persian feta not the cheap stuff and enoki mushrooms not just the button mushroom type.
i enjoyed watching the open kitchen i saw when paying. the many staff in there looked focus and looked like they knew what they were doing. they were so busy when i went, that type of focus would be necessary. the pastries i saw upon paying looked good. will order some next time.
can't wait to return with friends. might bring the pooch next time, nice outdoor seating will make this easy.

brunched here in celebration of fathers day and we arrived around 12:30pm luckily it wasn't too busy and we were seated relatively quickly inside and given menus. we ordered the two burgers and the smashed avo with dukkah and not only did everything look delicious but every bite was delicious. the chips were also cooked to perfection. couldn't fault the coffee either! will be back x

super easy parking even on saturday noon time. spacious place with outdoor seating.

staff is friendly and service is prompt.

ordered the specials, which is cured salmon with asparagus, poached egg and beet hummus and creme frais on sourdough bread.

it was a colorful combo and very full on. unfortunately hummus and creme fraise were both very creamy and made the dish too rich. the vege were tasty and fresh. cured salmon is smokey and flavourful.

cold brew coffee was very refreshing on a warm day.

all in all, nice joint with a big menu. will come back to try out other foods.

i have only great things to say about this inner west gem ! fantastic warm service from the minute i walked in. i was greeted, offered a table of my choice and given a menu and water without delay. the menu has a great range of options. i got the avocado on toast, chai and a coffee. the chai was the best i've tried so fragrant and tasty, enjoyed every last drop. the coffee was amazing and even the large size was not overly milky. the avocado was perfectly seasoned and contrasted with crunchy nuts and seeds, paired with a personal favourite - crumbly feta & roasted tomatoes and the poached eggs were cooked literally, to perfection. what particularly caught my attention was the overall presentation of the cafe and the meals. the staff were also genuinely interested in ensuring all the patrons not only enjoyed their meals but their experience too. the is the major difference that takes this to a hard earned 5. i have a new brunch spot.

west juliett is just around the corner from me so it is a constant temptation in my life. there is often groups of people and a 15-30 minute wait for a table. when the cafe is this busy food inevitably comes out slower as well.

according to my coffee snob of a partner the coffee here is good not great. as a normal human i enjoy the coffee here.

i do really enjoy the food here, whether it's the classic avo on toast or something a little more complicated (i also quite enjoy the mushrooms on toast and the haloumi roll) i've never had anything less than a lovely meal at west juliett. if you are sitting inside it can get a bit loud as there can be so many people, but i can't see a way the cafe could fix this. it also manages to avoid the problem a lot of other full cafes have that it never gets too warm while you're inside the cafe.

it can be a bit pricey for breakfast/brunch (meals can get up to $20 i think), but it's a very popular cafe in the inner west so it's not too surprising. the food quality and portion size is also very good.

what a different experience i had this second time at west juliett. we were pretty early so we had choice of where to sit and was served immediately and our meals came out very quickly. my toddler had the chicken tenders and chips. must say out of all the chicken and chips kids meals we've ever ordered this one is the tastiest, and a very large portion as well. i had the eggs benedict with pork belly, kale and chilli hollandaise sauce. absolutely delicious! portion was just right for me. coffee excellent! overall a really pleasant brunch, would come back for sure.
for the parentals, this is a kid friendly cafe. they have a kids menu and offer colouring pencils and paper.

i was invited by some friends to try west juliett some months ago. located on a busy intersection, the cafe instantly grabs your attention as you drive past. service here was great but the wait for food was a bit concerning. ordered the slow cooked lamb and a piccolo latte. coffee was nice but i was expecting a little more from the lamb. i would only recommend this place if you are nearby.

amazing little cafe! went on a saturday morning (10:30am) . great vibe! the menu captures your attention with "yuzu hollandaise", "maple bacon" and "vanilla strawberries". love the interesting range of shakes and juices. however, if you are in a rush... be careful. there was quite a wait ( probably because it's the weekend) but if you can wait, do it! because it's worth it. absolutely delicious. loved my chai i had to put together, very fun.

over rated. ok service but too slow and busy. cured salmon was nice but blood sausage was dry, milkshake lacked flavour and coffee was so so. popular with young hipsters and uni students and young families. nothing special.

there are several cafes and breakfast shops in marrickville, including west juliett. the cafe is pretty busy and popular on both weekdays and weekends, so don't be disappointed if you could not get your seat here. service was great here. food was not bad too.

i tried the french toast and they were certainly better than other cafes rated above 4.3. crispy on the outside (and not hard) and soft on the inside (not too soft), it was covered with a layer of sweet homemade sauce. worth a try!

went to this place many times almost 3 years ago and it was fantastic
went there yesterday and walked out just after the food hit the table... nothing like it use to be. coffee was good the service was not as good as before, the food standard had dropped and size is smaller and was wrong
i asked for my order to be replaced... as i watched my order go back to the open kitchen

i saw one of the asian cooks lick his fingers
