homemade soy sauce, greatserviceand fantastic food! we had sushi and noodles...i can't decide which i enjoyed more. as for the service, at one point i looked around for my beverage..thinking i may be spilled it on the floor because it disappeared! ten seconds later our server came back with a refill.
i'll definitely be back here!

we got here during happy hour (4-6) so our roll was both delicious and 30% off. i got the shrimp box with the spicy crab roll, it was good but it only had 7 pieces of shrimp. always greatserviceand food!

as a retired chef/ owner. i was very pleased.servicewas friendly and fun. the food was great. will be back

@jules mcgee about "us picky eater". i think that was a very rude responce about rachel's post. she was simply telling our story from our visit. we had went weeks earlier with a different group and ordered even more food that arived in a timely manner. it is simlply ridiculous that the waiters cannot serve the customer the way they should be served. and no i am not going to give a tip to someone who brought us 3 wrong dishes, had us write our own orders down on his paper, and took over an hour to finally get me my one roll. we will never be going back because of the badservicethat night.

went on a friday night with 8 others. disrespectful waiters that acted like they didn't want to be there. ordered 7 sushi rolls and it took well over an hour to get any, order was split and the second half came another 20 minutes later. overall very badserviceand very displeased.

the sushi was great,servicewas very good. the desert alone is worth is weight in gold !

wow great place!. just want folks to know that of the sushi , as a novice, i have eaten in springfield this was by far the best. the crab rangoons had the best filling i have ever eaten. the salnom was over the top. theservicewas incredible and there were not enough people enjoying this wonderful experience there for a week day afternoon! i gush, but that's okay. it was awesome.

12/27/10 ate at this wonderful place tonight. they were on a skeleton crew, but still the bestservicei've received in a long time anywhere. the presentation was also beautiful! a wonderful evening well spent!

great food & ecellent service. the prices were reasonable, and theservicewas absolutly excellent. they gave my huband and i free wasabi cucumbers to try, and a mixed fruit tray drizzled in chocolate for our 3 year old. the cucumbers were wonderful- had never had them before. later the server brought us a clean damp wash cloth for our son when he was done eating. we will definitly be going back.

wayo is a hidden gem in the springfield area! it's right next to red lobster and the sushi is fantastic. theserviceis also excellent (very attentive owner and staff). the corner booth is the best!

our favorite sushi restaurant. we have eaten here numerous times. theserviceis always good (the owner usually greets the diners) and the sushi and teriyaki are good and very reasonably priced. we always take home a box because portions are generous. the miso soup is some of the best i've tasted. the wasabi cucumbers are a treat. try the deep fried green tea ice cream--it's wonderful! love the atmosphere with the booths and the music.

wow! the food andservicewas excellent. the decor is great - booths feel very private. have eaten at a number of sushi restaurants in springfield and i have to say the sushi here is really among the very best. definitely recommend the 911 roll. you won't be disappointed!

looong wait. my husband and i went to wayo a few weeks ago with some friends that highly recommended it. theservicethen was great aside from the awkward "manager" that kept making comments in which we had no response to. the food was absolutely delicious. they have happy hour during the week. 30% off all sushi. great deal!

i went back just my husband and i on valentines day and the wait was absolutely unacceptable. the restaurant was not busy in the least and we waited and hour just to get our appetizer. we saw 3 groups be seated, fed and leave (who came after us) before we even got our sushi. an hour and a half passed when we finally received our three sushi rolls. my husband asked for an additional discount in addition to the 30 percent off happy hour sushi. they waved our $8 appetizer which was nice of them. they were attempting to be accommodating by passing out extra complementary soup and salads but the wait was more then irritating.
