best sushi and great prices, sweet people thefoodis great. highly recommend. argo tea place in springfield. try it you'll like it the prices are great.

this is our 2nd sunday to drop by for lunch and thefoodwas excellent. they makes an excellent cucumber salad and the salmon is much higher grade than you get at other restaurants.

i was forced to pay for 2 plates of sushi when i didn't order it.. i ate here on christmas. i ordered sushi i picked out the sushi i wanted. i was brought out 2 plates of sushi 2 of every thing i ordered. i let the waitress know i did not order it. she said well we already made it so ill give you 20% off of the plate. i paid and left right away. i found this to be very bad service..foodwasn't bad at all. manager should have taken 2nd plate of sushi back and accepted the mistake. i was forced to pay for it.. will never be back!!!!!!

if you are in to paying $3.00 extra dollars for a small portion of fried rice with frozen vegetables in it, then this is the place for you. it even had corn included. thefoodwas absolutely disgusting. the sushi was very good, but other than that, it's awful. the prices are outrageous for what you're getting. a kid's meal is over seven bucks. i do not recommend.

thefoodis amazing and the owners are very friendly. i travel to springfield a lot and this is my go to restaurant. the place is also large enough for parties! can't say enough good things about it! you have to try!!

excellent local restaurant - like!. i was visiting springfield for work, just got to town and was hungry. drove down glenston ave and passed many japanese, chinese, and other asian restaurants (along with almost every damn chain restaurant in america). i stopped to check urbanspoon and found a japanese sushi bar and grill called wayo.

walked in and was greeted very nicely by fred, the owner. he recommended some sushi rolls, which came with some amazing wasabi cucumber pickles and miso soup. the rolls i had were sunset and 911 roll. very fresh, bright tasting, and wonderful ingredients.

this place has a great attitude towards food. they make almost everything from scratch!!! the wasabi pickles, from scratch. the teriyaki sauce, from scratch. the korean bbq ribs, from scratch. it is this type of passion withfoodthat you don't anymore. restaurants are always cutting corners, buying canned sauces and frozen pre-made dishes. not wayo sushi bar and grill.

i can't wait to return and try the korean bbq ribs and beef bulgogi!

@last two people i agree with what you both say partly. i never agree to "bash" anyone. and realize wait staff are human, well have bad days. now wrongfoodand stuff can be changed. but! dont let 1 bad experience let this great sushi restaurant slip away from you. i have been eating here since the opening, and take over by new management. i will say, if the owners now know/knew what was taking place they would/will try to make it right. they are great people and take great pride in there establishment! god bless you all!

@jules mcgee about "us picky eater". i think that was a very rude responce about rachel's post. she was simply telling our story from our visit. we had went weeks earlier with a different group and ordered even morefoodthat arived in a timely manner. it is simlply ridiculous that the waiters cannot serve the customer the way they should be served. and no i am not going to give a tip to someone who brought us 3 wrong dishes, had us write our own orders down on his paper, and took over an hour to finally get me my one roll. we will never be going back because of the bad service that night.

most delicious!!. all thefoodand meat is handpicked by the owner. fresh vegetables, meat just melts in your mouth. it is one of the best places to eat in springfield for the price and the huge amounts offoodyou get and i've eaten everywhere. it is me son's favorite place to eat and i know he is eating healthy!! he loved the fresh fruit and he got an awesome deep fried ice cream dessert for his birthday...wow, that was unreal good. i've been back 3 times now and intend to go again! i highly recommend this place to eat. oh and the private booths are really cool!

greatfood& ecellent service. the prices were reasonable, and the service was absolutly excellent. they gave my huband and i free wasabi cucumbers to try, and a mixed fruit tray drizzled in chocolate for our 3 year old. the cucumbers were wonderful- had never had them before. later the server brought us a clean damp wash cloth for our son when he was done eating. we will definitly be going back.

this was our second visit, the staff was friendly and thefoodwas outstanding. i will be back!
