i was forced to pay for 2 plates of sushi when i didn't order it.. i ate here on christmas. i ordered sushi i picked out the sushi i wanted. i was brought out 2 plates of sushi 2 of every thing i ordered. i let the waitress know i did not order it. she said well we already made it so ill give you 20% off of the plate. i paid and left right away. i found this to be very bad service.. food wasn't bad at all. manager should have taken 2nd plate of sushibackand accepted the mistake. i was forced to pay for it.. will never be back!!!!!!

homemade soy sauce, great service and fantastic food! we had sushi and noodles...i can't decide which i enjoyed more. as for the service, at one point i looked around for my beverage..thinking i may be spilled it on the floor because it disappeared! ten seconds later our server camebackwith a refill.

my husband and i had avoided this place for quite a while thinking it was "fast food" sushi. we finally broke down and tried it one evening. we were very pleasantly surprised. ordered the teriyaki chicken and bulgogi beef. they were both delicious as we're the three different sushi we had. the atmosphere was relaxing and just right, between formal and casual. we will definitely gobackand try new sushi selections, too.

@jules mcgee about "us picky eater". i think that was a very rude responce about rachel's post. she was simply telling our story from our visit. we had went weeks earlier with a different group and ordered even more food that arived in a timely manner. it is simlply ridiculous that the waiters cannot serve the customer the way they should be served. and no i am not going to give a tip to someone who brought us 3 wrong dishes, had us write our own orders down on his paper, and took over an hour to finally get me my one roll. we will never be goingbackbecause of the bad service that night.

they brought us this delicious cucumber appetizer that was sweet and spicy then miso soup which was really yummy. we got the sashimi appetizer and the salmon was clean and fresh. we also got 4 rolls and oved them all. the wayo special roll was wonderful. i am a salmon freak so everything i ordered had salmon in it and it was great. one of the better sushi places in town . happy hour is 4 to 6 and ur meal is 30% off. i wud gobackin heartbeat.

most delicious!!. all the food and meat is handpicked by the owner. fresh vegetables, meat just melts in your mouth. it is one of the best places to eat in springfield for the price and the huge amounts of food you get and i've eaten everywhere. it is me son's favorite place to eat and i know he is eating healthy!! he loved the fresh fruit and he got an awesome deep fried ice cream dessert for his birthday...wow, that was unreal good. i've beenback3 times now and intend to go again! i highly recommend this place to eat. oh and the private booths are really cool!

looong wait. my husband and i went to wayo a few weeks ago with some friends that highly recommended it. the service then was great aside from the awkward "manager" that kept making comments in which we had no response to. the food was absolutely delicious. they have happy hour during the week. 30% off all sushi. great deal!

i wentbackjust my husband and i on valentines day and the wait was absolutely unacceptable. the restaurant was not busy in the least and we waited and hour just to get our appetizer. we saw 3 groups be seated, fed and leave (who came after us) before we even got our sushi. an hour and a half passed when we finally received our three sushi rolls. my husband asked for an additional discount in addition to the 30 percent off happy hour sushi. they waved our $8 appetizer which was nice of them. they were attempting to be accommodating by passing out extra complementary soup and salads but the wait was more then irritating.

you couldn't pay me to eat here again.... our waiter ruined everything. with a party of 8, he told us to wait while they set the tables....and then grabbed my husband around the waist like he was getting tackled and shoved him onto the couch!!! this was within the first 2 minutes of being there. we were mortified. as the night unfolded he personally made everyone at our table feel uncomfortable by physically putting his hands on them. his stomach grazed at least two peoples' backs (mine included) when he set our water on the table. we had zero private conversation because anything that was said he magically appeared and interrupted, shifting the focus onto him.
when our food came out, he started hitting me with the menu over and over on my arm telling me that i need to "stand up for myself because my friends were jerks." he would not stop hitting me and i was embarrassed and close to crying at this point had an anxiety attack at the table. i then had to excuse myself and go to the restroom to put myself together. he then starts hitting another member of our party in the arm repeatedly and he had told our waiter to stop hitting and touching him and had to repeat this several times before he got the hint. i will never gobackto wayo and i have been telling everyone of this story so that no one else has to face this rough waiter.
