fading fast?. we tried this place out when it first opened and it was th "in thing" god knows abq needs a good upscale joint like this. but after 3 or 4 more tries it seems to be loosing it's luster. not packed in the bar anymore... service is poor despite plenty of roaming servers

service is a bit better when you dine at the bar. appetizers are bit pricey, drinks are about the standard rate. but the staff seems a bit uncomfortable with their jobs in general. consider adding a happy hour with bar food specials...

very nice ambience; feels like you're in scottsdale. food in general is okay, but quite pricey. hope this place can get it together and garner support from the locals. will give it one more try in a few months.

vintage 423 has the right stuff for me!. i had visited vintage a few months ago to see for myself what all the excitement was about! the lobos were playing basketball and the bar was packed; but that didn't seem to hinder the service i received. i was there for a couple of hours and never once had to look for a server or bartender to take my order or provide me with a refill. i had a great experience then so i decided to go back on a saturday afternoon when i hoped that it wouldn't be so busy...and it wasn't. i arrived around 230ish and was pleased to see that people were eating and drinking happily on the patio. i chose to sit at the bar however because the weather was somewhat cool and breezy. there wasn't a crowd inside and before i could sit down the very attentive bartender was ready to take my order. she offered to bring me warm, fresh bread with olive oil and garlic to dip it in while i decided what i wanted to eat. i ordered a glass of merlot and a ceaser salad for starters. i looked around to observe the other patrons who just as myself were enjoying the sleek atmosphere and company of others. they were dressed casual as most people do on a saturday afternoon in albuquerque and i fit right in. i decided not to order anything else off the menu but i did enjoy drinking a couple more glasses of wine which were fabulous! i stayed for maybe 2 hours and met several new people who themselves enjoyed the awesome service and friendly atmosphere. i find it difficult to believe the poor reviews that have been written because it has been my experience on two seperate occasions that the service and team work of all the employees has been what it should be, and that is to simply ensure that all visitors receive their full attention and a fine dining experience. here's to a job well done vintage!!!!

all i can say is wow!!! what a beautiful place! i went in for happy hour yesterday and it was an absolute blast. apparently they just started their happy hour, but i wouldn't have guessed because between 4-6 the bar was packed ! but who wouldnt want to be there, the choices are great and the prices omg so good! $2.50 for a draft and 1/2 priced appetizers? youre kidding!! our server sophia was very sweet and attentive as well as the two managers stephanie and christie i believe (forgive me if i got the names wrong) all of the people there are fun an energetic and it's definitely the place to have a great time. all of you people who are concerned about bad service and prices , first of all i think people get annoys at a slightly more expensive menu which is taken out on the wait staff, come on people this isn't chilis and why wouldn't you want to help support a private local business instead of these multi million dollar corporations?!? let's help them thrive, learn, and grow and i think this place will become a town favorite!! good luck vintage! i will sure be back! oh and i finally found their website it's www.vintahe-423.com for whoever wants to see an online menu.

loved it! a "must go"! steak is delicious!

a great experience! from the staff to the fried asparagus! my girlfriend and i are very pickey, but we definitely enjoyed it! we ate at the bar, and had great service! it was very packed, and the new happy hour is so convenient; half price appetizers and $2.50 drafts! yes please! will definitely be back again

had such a great experience when my husband and i went last saturday night! a warm welcome followed by a very juicey new york strip steak, cooked to perfection; a great choice for dinner, drinks, and appetizers! the fancy unique decore only made the experience over the top! cannot wait for out next visit!

i went in after reading all the negative views, not expecting too much! but i was pleasantly surprised! i went last saturday night and we welcomed by two friendly hostesses who sat me without having a reservation! my server, eric, was very good. my steak was tastey and my wine was out of this world! the beautiful decode i was surrounded by only made the experience better! my husband and i were very pleased and will
be back soon!

delicious! excellent service. a nice surprise for albuquerque! my husband is very picky and he really enjoyed it. great job!

this place is awesome. between the energetic staff, the great food, and the inviting atmosphere vintage is a place i will always continue to go too!

service. bar service lousy. it took 45 minutes for a mix drink to come out to the table. i had to go up three times to ask the waitress where is my drink. the bar manager was no help at all. and the restaurant was not even busy at all service sucks. lost my business. if i was the owner i speed up the bar so i get more customers and not lose my customers.

excellent experiences. i was very surprised to read the negative reviews. fortunately i have had great experiences at vintage. been there 6 times--all for lunch . once was a large group of ladies--8-- for a birthday celebration. a fancy dessert was supplied by vintage, complete with candle. . food & service was perfect and the wait staff was very accommodating. i always recommend it and as a matter of fact, am meeting a friend there today for lunch.

vintage 423. i have a lunch group that loved dining at vintage . . . until now that is. i've recomended the beer battered cod to everyone but i won't be doing that any more. the tiramisu which used to be fabulous doesn't even taste like tiramisu any more. i taste like some kind of cheese cake. i ask the server what happened and she told me that they had a new chef . . . boo hoo!

horrible service, overpriced food!. went to vintage for the first and last time this evening! we were asked "how can i help you" as we walked into this restaurant! that's weird, i thought! then we were seated in a corner booth in the bar. our "server" who i figured out later is actually a bartender finally came around about 15 minutes later to get our drink order. she looked like she just got out of prison, as her arm had a huge tatoo, fully visible and totally out of place for a supposed "upscale" restaurant! i asked for a refill of my water at least 3 times throughout the dinner, but only got 1 refill 30 minutes after asking for it! we were further disrupted by a loud group of angry women accompanied by a few loud, cussing men in the bar area very pissed off at the way they had been treated by a female bartender! the entire experience was unexpectedly classless, rude and unbelievably trashy for a so called "upscale" restaurant! extremely disappointed and will never return! i forgot to mention our check was dropped off and the "server" never came back to process our payment so i had to walk it up to her at the bar after about 30 minutes! horrified!

a favorite on a weekly basis! yum and goodtimes. vintage 423 is amazing! the atmosphere is swank and if you want a swank outside campfire feel they have that too! i absolutely love this place! the food is divine and great service too! christy and michelle are almost always on site to make sure your experience is a good one. marcella is another employee making sure you have good food and service. i do not know how these bad reviews are on here other than i have witnessed a few people who go in this place looking to find something wrong. one night i witnessed a customer harassing a waiter because he wanted the waiter to recite the meaning of a perfectly cooked steak....really? who does that? people who hate....bullies and people who don't like to support success! really who is perfect? noone is perfect, but this place is fabulous! my family and i would eat here every night if we could. everything on the menu is delicious, but our favorites are the 7oz filet for dinner! the chicken puff pie is amazing comfort food! the ribeye steak sandwich, hamburger or fish tacos for lunch is very tasty. the tres leches cake for desert...omg! i hate to share this review of the cake because once its gone for the night its gone! lol did i mention it is a great place to take customers out for lunch or dinner. it is a divine place!

great food! awesome service!!. i dined at vintage last night for the first time with friends. walking in the place was beautiful. we were seated in the dining room which was packed, and after our experience i can see why. the food was great, i had a filet which was cooked perfectly. our friends also had steaks and sea bass which were cooked perfectly and very delicious. even better than the food was the service. our waiter eric was awesome! he was very knowledgeable about the menu and the wine list, and gave the best service we've had in albuquerque! this was a great night out and we will be sure to go back. if you're thinking of a night out i would recommend vintage and definitely eric!

shocked!! i have never left a restaurant before being seated. my friend and i wanted to try a new place out for dinner and decided on vintage. when we walked in the entrance we were obviously visually judged from head to toe by the hostess. we asked for a table for 2 and were told there was a wait. she then walked away without saying anything. we stood there unsure what the wait time was or where she went. when she returned she said there was a wait (once again). we said okay and as i was about to ask how long the wait was another hostess came around and said there were 3 open tables. we were so turned off by what had just occurred we said we would go somewhere else. i've been to a ton of places, but was so disturbed that i created this account to let people know that this was horrible!! this may have just been because of the 1 hostess, however this was the person they chose to be the face to "greet" their guests, so i will judge them as such.

this is a neat place to dine at. the food is good. i do think its overpriced for the quality of food served. the food is not horrible just not high quality. however if you want a chill place, some what high class feel and good food this is your place!
