this place used to be very good. it is very romantic & nice for albuquerque but the food is over priced and not as good as it once was. bring back the bone-in steaks.

terrible. overpriced, food was cold, service was terrible. will never eat there again. worst of all we informed the manager and they only took the gratuity off the check charging us full price for the meal

went there for happy hour and drinks are small and over priced.... we went there for an appetizer and a cocktail. i had a margarita and it was served in a small glass and cost me $14! i was expecting a big margarita style glass but instead, it looked more like a gin and tonic. the decor is beautiful but it's over priced and the service was less than desirable. once we got served, we never saw the server again. we won't be going back.

had drinks at the bar. love the decor. feel like i'm in vegas. but the bartender looks like she just got out of a yoga class. this is supposed to be a high class restaurant (for abq) so i would expect the staff to look and dress professional.

my husband and i made the mistake of having our valentine's day dinner at this place in the spirit of finding new places to eat in albuquerque. we were bitterly disappointed with the whole experience. the service was very very poor and it felt like we were in an upper class hooters with waitresses flaunting short dresses and ample cleavage; something you would not see in a serious refined restaurant. the food was overpriced mediocre at best. our whole dinner felt rushed and utterly unenjoyable. for a dinner that cost 120$ we expected so much more especially when we know other local places that try their best to make your dinner as wonderful as possible.

we went here on a recommendation from a good friend. the google directions took us to the wrong place, we waited 2 minutes in the lobby before the bartender happened to pass by and offered to seat us, then we sat there for 20 minutes and received no service! the bartender was nice (she brought us water), the atmosphere was nice and the menu seemed great but we didn't have the opportunity to try it. we went to flying star across the way instead.

horrible service!!! okay food. we went to vintage on a weekday evening when it was really slow. walked in the front door, and must have stood there for 5-10 minutes, with still no sign of life from any employees. we finally wandered into the bar and there was the bartender, several patrons, and an off the clock employee. i asked the bartender if it was open seating, she responded yes. we started to make our way around the bar and the off the clock employee moved her purse over a chair and stated that we couldn't sit there. it didn't bother us because we wanted to eat at a table. we grabbed a table and the bartender grabbed menus and started to head towards us. she immediately stopped because we were not sitting at the bar, so we were out of her section. she went and got our actual waitress. our waitress actually did a good job. but if eating here, expect to be faced with a charge for everything. want to add a red wine steak sauce, surcharge! want to add a side salad, surcharge! want to add vegetables, surcharge! by the time it was over, we had over a $100 bill. if you are spending that much, find a better restaurant with superior service. hit up vernon's hidden valley steakhouse, about the same price and better in every category.

delish! new chef, good choice. we went to vintage in early october to celebrate our son's birthday. we had several different items from the "new menu". there is a new chef and i must say that the food is much better than my prior visits. i started with an heirloom tomato salad which was divine. next, i had the seared salmon. it was served very hot and cooked to perfection. one of us had a seafood pasta which was devoured in minutes, and my son had a delicious steak. some of the items like steaks do not come with sides anymore. that makes them a bit pricey, but if the meat is good quality (which it was), then it is worth it. we finished off our meal with an outstanding flourless chocolate cake. it was amazing. all in all, we had a great dinner. i've been to the bar since then and had several appetizers which have been great: antipasto platter, home made potato chips, salsa and chips (salsa is much better than it was). the staff is generally friendly and service was good. definitely worth another try if you haven't been in a while. happy eating...

rudest owner ever. my husband and i are always looking for new restaurants to try. we happened to see vintage and decided to give it a try. we went for a late lunch so they were not very busy. the host couldn't quite figure out where to seat us so it took a while but that was ok. she finally led us to a booth in the bar area. this is where the problems started. there is a relatively narrow walkway between the booths and the raised seating area. the owner was standing there flirting with two women who really looked like they just wanted him to go away. he looked up and saw us trying to get by but just smirked and went right back to his conversation. the best part...i was in a wheelchair so we couldn't just squeeze by. after several awkward minutes, he finally moved. it's bad enough to be 33 and in a wheelchair and deal with the stares and questions...it's even worse when the owner makes a spectacle of you. i really felt like he just didn't want anyone in there that wasn't his definition of perfect. we finally got seated and it just got worse. the servers have no idea what they are doing. i assume they are hired based on looks rather than iq. the food was ok once we finally received it but not really anything special especially for the price. we were definitely excited when we first walked (rolled) in, but that excitement faded quickly. the owners really need to work on the way they treat customers if they want people to come back. i had never been treated as second best until this experience. there are a lot of really good restaurants and bars in abq. i suggest people go to them even if they don't look trendy. it will be a much better experience with better food and nicer people.

terrible service. mediocre food.. went to dinner at 6pm on a saturday. only one other table in our half of the restaurant was occupied, but i think we were a major inconvenience to our waitress. her first encounter with us was to take the wine glasses and walk away without even speaking to us. when she came back 5 min later, she asked us if we were ready to order, and never even mentioned the specials (which we didn't even know existed until much later when we overheard a different server telling his table about them). my silverware was dirty when i unrolled it from the napkin, and after we ordered, we didn't see our waitress for another 45 min. my steak sat on the table for 10 minutes before i was able to get a steak knife from a busboy that happened to be walking by. had our waitress come by after our food was served, i might have had a chance to mention to her that my steak was raw in the middle instead of being medium well. not quite the experience i was hoping for at a restaurant like this. i've gotten better service at applebee's and better steaks at outback

restaurant impossible contender. i called for a reservation and they asked if there was a special occasion. yes, i said. my wife and i had never been there. we were just looking for an anniversary restaurant experience a cut above the usual neighborhood fare, and maybe, we hoped, on par with zinc, bienshur, or rancher's club. what we found was an upscale decor, but that was where the good times ended. poor service, bad food, no fun. our waiter walked away while my wife was in mid-sentence ordering. her food was just tasteless. miracle whip had more flavor than the sauce served with the special (frozen) halibut. my food was palatable, i liked the salad and the truffle fries, but then desert had few choices, nothing good in chocolate, nothing refreshing or surprising. the creme brulee was plain. to top it off, there was no acknowledgement of the occasion whatsoever, not a candle, a cookie, or a congratulations. the bill was over $100. i wont go back any time soon for dinner unless someone takes a class in food preparation...maybe in the summer for a drink...if the restaurant is still open. call the food network!
