i really enjoyed dining here with my family. the staff was alsogoodand supportive. the food is very tasty and delicious. must try whenever near this place.

horrible experience. i had the worst experience at old venice. our server was great but their manager is terrible. i ordered a dish that did not tastegoodat all. their was not much flavor to the sauce and the dish just tasted off, the crab meat tasted like it was out of a can and it just had an odd after taste. i had my co-worker taste the dish as well and she agreed that something was just not right. i told the server who was wonderful and grabbed her manager. the manager came over and was not polite or accomodating. she was curt and not concerned at all. when i told her the issue she said she could get me something else but i would be charged for both dishes since "i just didn't like it". i worked in restaurants for several years and this is not the way to treat a guest. i had barely touched the dish and explained my issues with it. i will not be returning nor will any of my co-workers.

we ordered beer, chowder, and a small pizza with 1/2 bbq chicken and half chicken jalapeño. we liked the appetizer bread. when the waitress brought my second beer she mumbled something about being out of my initial choice, but i'm still not sure what i was drinking. the manager came to apologize for the wait on our pizza and promised it would be out soon. it was verygoodand when the check arrived the waitress told us there was no charge for the pizza. overall, i liked it, but the evening was somewhat confusing.

great value, decent food. value for what you get is awesome. it's cheap and the food is fairly good. i've been on the night where if you order $25 worth of food, you get a cheap bottle of wine. had lots ofgoodleftovers and the wine was decent.

i like old venice. sometimes i love old venice the sunday buffet style brunch is pretty consistent.goodbang for your buck and the staff is always fun to me and my mama. i also like the create your own pasta for lunch. that's actually how i first started eating there and for the dinner i've had the chicken parma and that mac n cheese had me speechless!!! overall big fan of old venice!

i haven't been here in a while and i used to love it here. after last night, i don't think we will be back. first off, the bread they served us was baked with onions on top. from what i remember, they used to serve small loaves but now you have to like onions to like the bread, which i don't. we got lucky and were able to grab a patio spot but our waitress out there wasn't the brightest. she was real sweet but wasn't verygoodat her job. too much olive oil and not enough pepper for the onion bread, couldn't figure out how to open a wine bottle and served us the wrong pizza. we were able to get free dessert for the mess up but the pizza should have been discounted, too. the eggplant pasta was awful, not cooked well and was so tough, it should have been served with a steak knife. i'm saddened by the experience and will think of somewhere else to go when we have a crave for italian.

food that came from the grocer's freezer. the meat in my chicken parmesan tasted exactly as if it had come from a frozen box. the same goes for the grilled salmon. hardly anything special. the creamed spinach was more cream than spinach. the flat bread served with the spinach artichoke dip was good, but the dip was also more cream than spinach, artichokes or cheese. neither my husband nor i finished our meals and politely declined a to-go box. the onlygoodthing about this restaurant was a nice wine list, but i need food to go along with that, so we won't be returning.

pizza for philistines. i love pizza. in fact, i would consider myself a connoisseur. i have lived in new york and new haven, ct (http://thepauperedchef.com/2007/09/new-haven-pizza.html), and i have made a point to eat slices at most of the best pizza restaurants in the country --- multiple times. i also like a lot of frozen pizza. and sometimes delivery pizza. i like bosco's pizza. i like schlotzky's pizza. i like memphis pizza cafe.

i do not like oid venice pizza. in fact, i loathe it.

old venice pizza has no style, no soul, and no, well, taste. even a chucky cheese pizza i can appreciate for its cheap simplicity, but that is not what is going on here. quite frankly, old venice pizza tastes like some over-confident bachelor went to the store, bought a chef boyardee pizza kit, threw some expensive mushrooms on it, and decided to sell it at fine-dining prices.

for my love of pizza, i have tried old venice several times over the years. each time i go, i honestly hope i am going to enjoy it. i mean, the atmosphere is nice, it's in agoodlocation, and the drinks are good... it's just... bad. really, really, bad.

i feel sorry for the people who think this pizza is good. or, better yet, i am envious of their ability to find satisfaction from ragu on a twelve-dollar biscuit.

holy crab!. it not just an expression it is a soup on the menu. i had one of many great lunches there today and the lunch special price make it affordable. i had the grilled chicken rustica panini and the soup. have i mentioned the soup? i normally get the mad italian panini because that's my favorite but i broke out and tried the chicken it wasgoodbut i still prefer the mad italian. ok one more time for the holy crab and crawfish chowder. crab and crawfish tails simmered with sweet corn onion red bell pepper and a little spice. man o man... if you or into salads you need to try the walnut grove anything with roasted red pepper and walnuts, red onion, blue cheese crumbles and a wine vinaigrette on it has to begoodright,.. even lettuce. there are just so many things on the full menu you can't get board and i am not going to mention the soup again.. ok.

great little place!!. old venice is a wonderful place to enjoygoodfood at agoodprice. the greek salad is great! wednesday's nights is half price house wine and i have not had anything on the menu i didn't like! the service is great as well! i would give old venice 5 stars at 2 start prices!!!!!
