venice kitchen

really enjoyed dinner with my husband! the waitress was very attentive and sweet! the house salad was huge and very good. we had thechickentuscany and the great white pizza. both were excellent!!! overall we had a fabulous time!

i was leery of the alfredo based sauce on thechickentuscany pizza but it was wonderful. the sauce was not overwhelming and the balsamic glaze was a perfect combination. highly recommended!

we ordered beer, chowder, and a small pizza with 1/2 bbqchickenand halfchickenjalapeño. we liked the appetizer bread. when the waitress brought my second beer she mumbled something about being out of my initial choice, but i'm still not sure what i was drinking. the manager came to apologize for the wait on our pizza and promised it would be out soon. it was very good and when the check arrived the waitress told us there was no charge for the pizza. overall, i liked it, but the evening was somewhat confusing.

i like old venice. sometimes i love old venice the sunday buffet style brunch is pretty consistent. good bang for your buck and the staff is always fun to me and my mama. i also like the create your own pasta for lunch. that's actually how i first started eating there and for the dinner i've had thechickenparma and that mac n cheese had me speechless!!! overall big fan of old venice!

old venice perkins, memphis tn. went last night, (have been many time, especially sunday brunch, pricey but good). i was very disappointed in the meal,chickenalfredo, was thrown in the to go containers like a hugh rush order, not visually appetizing, only flavor was salt,chickenwas cut thin and had texture ofchickenfrom a can. the bread was dried and hard, olive oil had no cracked pepper in it. tasted more like a cheap frozen dinner than the pricey meal it should have been. very very disappointed. will never go back unless a special occassion and to the brunch only. they should really be embarrassed by thechickenalfredo.

food that came from the grocer's freezer. the meat in mychickenparmesan tasted exactly as if it had come from a frozen box. the same goes for the grilled salmon. hardly anything special. the creamed spinach was more cream than spinach. the flat bread served with the spinach artichoke dip was good, but the dip was also more cream than spinach, artichokes or cheese. neither my husband nor i finished our meals and politely declined a to-go box. the only good thing about this restaurant was a nice wine list, but i need food to go along with that, so we won't be returning.

holy crab!. it not just an expression it is a soup on the menu. i had one of many great lunches there today and the lunch special price make it affordable. i had the grilledchickenrustica panini and the soup. have i mentioned the soup? i normally get the mad italian panini because that's my favorite but i broke out and tried thechickenit was good but i still prefer the mad italian. ok one more time for the holy crab and crawfish chowder. crab and crawfish tails simmered with sweet corn onion red bell pepper and a little spice. man o man... if you or into salads you need to try the walnut grove anything with roasted red pepper and walnuts, red onion, blue cheese crumbles and a wine vinaigrette on it has to be good right,.. even lettuce. there are just so many things on the full menu you can't get board and i am not going to mention the soup again.. ok.

our waiter josh was great. get the tuscanychickenpizza. thin crust for sure.
