have visited urban kitchen to celebrate a very special occassion. the friendly staff needs to be specially mentioned here. but the food was not that tasty for their prices. we went there on a weekday and chose the al a carte menu. so i cannot review their buffet meals.

mr brunch and i love taking trips to the capital, we call them “brunch-cations.” this particular hotel, the dusit thani in abu dhaboi has been on our to-do-list for the longest time due to our well known predilection for anything thai. the friday brunch is held in urban kitchen, usually an international all day dining restaurant but on friday’s, it turns into the aptly named ‘wok with me’ asian brunch…we could not wait!

the hotel and the restaurant very nice and the food as well. we enjoyed eating in dusit thani, the food was so diverse and satisfaying, only missing oysters. but i would recommend my friends and all to eat there.

stayed at the hotel and had the opportunity for both their buffet breakfast and buffet lunch. good spread on both occasions.

buffet lunch had live cooking pasta station, roast beef, arabic mezze, salads. desserts section also had plenty to choose from as with fruits. they had a chocolate fountain as well. cheese selection thought could be better.

so nice place, so quiet, elegant decoration, so friendly staff. but the food disappointed, i have been there for dinner and lunch buffet, both was disappointed.

two months ago we’d never set foot inside abu dhabi’s the dusit thani hotel but following a pleasing meal at benjarong. we couldn’t wait to return and check out their friday brunch offering. the brunch at the thai inspired dusit thani is held at urban kitchen, the hotels all day dining restaurant, situated just off of the impressive lobby.

the quality of food is below the average. the meat and chicken isn't fresh & it's quite untasty when i start eat them i felt the food old or expired sorry to say & the only thing it's eatable the rocca salad because it's light oh i forgot about the meat and chicken it's to oily food. i they ask me to come again i'll say no even if it's free.

superb inside out decorations well trained staff very friendly dinner buffet was awesome especially the salmon & grilled chicken my favorite recommended for everyone must try with live piano cheers 👍👏😚

i went today for iftar and honestly speaking, although there was a good verity of food but it was tasteless. . not that much.. specially the desserts they add too much sugar in most of them..

we've tried here for dinner buffet. the food variety is amazing!
and the staff are nice and so accommodating.
im not really a fan of buffet, but here we are eating our hearts out!
i've tasted some of the dishes and i liked the prawns the most since shrimp/prawn are my favorite! :d the texture is awesome, so soft, it taste so good too.
i also tried their seafood mixed rice, nothing special, not so tasteful.
next was the duck, its roasted. and yes, it is so yummy! perfectly cooked inside and out.
the pad thai is not so special, just like the normal pad thai from other thai resto.
sushi/maki taste nice. you know it's freshly rolled :d
and there are so many food to choose from, but my happytummy is so much full.
next time i'll visit, definetly eating more! :d

enjoyed the ambience too!

went in for the lunch buffet, which was pretty good. the theme was international. the variety was ample. there was even a sushi bar next to the salad station. the food tasted good. and my favourite part was the dessert section; so much to choose from! i liked the setup. i would probably go back again.

awesome kitchen with 5 stars service. delicious food and beverage. artistic interior with thailand culture theme.. you should try it in breakfast and dinner as well.

we decided to try out the buffet in urban kitchen at dusit thani - abu dhabi on a thursday. thursday, only because it was going to be a seafood night, and the mr. and i never had a chance to try out a seafood buffet. on the day of the buffet we received a call from a staff at the restaurant telling us that the seafood buffet had changed to international buffet as they had to cater to a group of 200 people. we were totally disappointed. however, the lady told us that those of us who had booked in for a seafood buffet would get seafood platters served on our table. that didn't sound too bad...as long as we got lobsters, prawns, scallops and everything seafood. so, we decided to try out the buffet anyway.

very tasty..we went on thursday for the arabian seafood night, the salads were very nice and the buffet was very nice though not many options but the food offered was quite tasty. also the deserts were very delicious. overall a nice experience and i will repeat it for sure
