honestly it’s not worth the price; not even close. the options are not of good quality be it for breakfast or dinner, the quality is very low and most of it feels stale and the livekitchenstaff are inexperienced as well to even make a proper scrambled eggs. a bad choice overall.

so i recently went for the pan asian night at urbankitchenat dusit thani abu dhabi. well the food the ambience the service was excellent. the variety of sushi and salads was out class. the only drawback was that the rice, and curries were cold and these are two food items which are not enjoyed if they are not served at the right temperature.
nevertheless, the overall experience was amazing. the staff was very well dressed and extremely polite and courteous, which is something that adds to the entire experience you get at a restaurant.

for a family celebration we tried the urbankitchendinner buffet. selection of food was good with a broad range to cover most and chef was happy to prepare something extra to cater for the member of our party with food allergy. big thank you to the restaurant staff in particular jason who took special care of us at our table. 👏👏

the urbankitchensituated in the dusit thani hotel is simply fabulous.

this was one of the best dining experiences i've had in a long time.

our group of 10 were greeted at the entrance and ushered to our table. we were well looked after, and checked on regularly by the supervisors.

the service was super efficient, friendly and courteous.

the buffet itself was large and varied and caters to quite a few tastes. they have an extensive salad selection along-with a limited but very satisfying live sushi station.

there is an excellent cold seafood bar serving huge mussels, baby octopi, prawns and razor clams.

there is also a large asian selection with staples like pad thai, lemongrass chicken and hunan beef. there is also a roast section serving wagyu beef, lamb , chicken and roast duck!!

there are live stations serving thai dishes, pasta and desserts. there was also a section serving a selection of customary indian and arabic dishes.

for desserts there is a huge selection of cakes, cheeses and fresh fruits to satisfy any palate.

would i go back? many many times. two thumbs up.

worth many repeat visits.

i went for the iftar buffet at urbankitchentonight.
the buffet was beautifully set up, with a great variety of dishes displayed. i started off with the salads (traditional arabic greens) and soup. i took a plate of the arabian side snacks as well.
i loved the potato &a garlic soup with croutons it was my favorite.
main course was a mix of arabic-asian-indian cuisine which i thought was great as it catered to everyone's palette nicely, vegetarians and non- vegetarians.
there was a section dedicated to grills. there was chicken, lamb, beef and lamb chops along with grilled hamour for those seafood lovers.
the ambiance of the restaurant was middle eastern. the decor was dim lit with arabian music playing in the background, we were served kahwa at the end of our meal which is traditional middle earthen green tea.
i enjoyed my time at urban kitchen, for the money i spent i thought it was a stealer deal. the food served was tasty and options were unlimited. i loved it!

we decided to try out the buffet in urbankitchenat dusit thani - abu dhabi on a thursday. thursday, only because it was going to be a seafood night, and the mr. and i never had a chance to try out a seafood buffet. on the day of the buffet we received a call from a staff at the restaurant telling us that the seafood buffet had changed to international buffet as they had to cater to a group of 200 people. we were totally disappointed. however, the lady told us that those of us who had booked in for a seafood buffet would get seafood platters served on our table. that didn't sound too bad...as long as we got lobsters, prawns, scallops and everything seafood. so, we decided to try out the buffet anyway.

ive visited urbankitchensaturday lunch buffet with my family, not much varieties, food is not tasty at all, very limited choices. first and last time, dessert was a nightmare, im not big fan of chocolate all, the chocolate was the only ingredient in their dessert items.

i have visited urbankitchenfor a saturday lunch as well as a tuesday dinner buffet. i enjoyed both visits but would recommend the tuesday buffet if you like asian food. the restaurant is really pleasant with with a nice buffet set-up. what i like about urbankitchenis that the buffet is big but not huge, making it possible to try a bit of almost everything. i especially love the desserts here. the food is good, particularly the thai cuisine. service is good. interiors are nice as well.

we went to urbankitchenon saturday for the buffet lunch. on reaching the restaurant we were promptly led to our table.the buffet has a fairly large spread with a salad section, a mains section, a desserts section, a live pasta station and a section for starters. the salads section had a variety of arabic and continental staples along with sushi. there were also a variety of cold cuts. however this is standard fare in any good international buffet. in the starters there were mushroom pizza, roast chicken, batter fried vegetables and arabic mezze. the mains had a seafood kabsa, lamb biryani, veg curry, chicken harees and thai cashew chicken among other things. surprisingly in the breads though they did mention that there was naan and roti i was disappointed to see heated frozen parathas being served in the place of both these things. desserts had a huge variety as well with umm ali, cheese cakes, fresh fruits, chocolate brownies and a chocolate fountain. so while you can just get full by tasting a morsel of everything in this buffet, i did not find one single dish which i can describe in superlative terms. the taste of everything was just okay. i found flavors lacking. i was also expecting some more asian representation on the menu but sadly this was not the case. in the end i felt i would have been happier with an a la carte lunch with a few of my favorite dishes instead of the lavish spread we had just sampled.
