while staying at dusit thani we had the opportunity to try the morning breakfast here. we must say, they have a wide spread of breakfast options from fresh juices to tea/coffee , from a variety of healthy breakfast options to live looking stations, it was almost like a brunch early morning for us.

the ambience is great,staffare very friendly and accommodating and are quick at your service.

hot tea/,coffee is served at the tables and the servers clear the tables on a timely manner.

breakfast choices are good enough, kids have their options too.

we would recommend and suggest booking yourself in advance as there could be a high occupancy of the in house guests itself.

went there for iftar buffet with my friends and i was amazed with the variety of food they had to offer. you get so indulged in the food that sometimes you need help of astaffto navigate to a particular refill. in juices, they had jalab which was excellent. shrimp salad was mouth watering. to top it all, they offer shisha right outside the reception area. overall, a fulfilling experience. friendly staff, good food, decent price and ample parking space.

honestly it’s not worth the price; not even close. the options are not of good quality be it for breakfast or dinner, the quality is very low and most of it feels stale and the live kitchenstaffare inexperienced as well to even make a proper scrambled eggs. a bad choice overall.

so i recently went for the pan asian night at urban kitchen at dusit thani abu dhabi. well the food the ambience the service was excellent. the variety of sushi and salads was out class. the only drawback was that the rice, and curries were cold and these are two food items which are not enjoyed if they are not served at the right temperature.
nevertheless, the overall experience was amazing. thestaffwas very well dressed and extremely polite and courteous, which is something that adds to the entire experience you get at a restaurant.

for a family celebration we tried the urban kitchen dinner buffet. selection of food was good with a broad range to cover most and chef was happy to prepare something extra to cater for the member of our party with food allergy. big thank you to the restaurantstaffin particular jason who took special care of us at our table. 👏👏

a very good experience, been there with my family recently and both the buffet spread and the ambience was very nice. took the house beverages package and overallstaffservice was commendable.

4 stars for the five stars. there were plenty of food in the buffet but does not fully rejoice my appetite. but wow! the desserts were overflowing and really delicious. the stir fried noodles however is delightful. the place is very satisfying and spacious. thestaffwere also attentive and always smiling.

super very disappointing it was my birthday and the food was not delicious at all there were no chefs available on the cooking counters the sushi was not fresh we were told its an international but had no variety and was just a waste of money  however thestaffwas very friendly  .

we had a good time. the food (buffet) was great and thestaffwas friendly as well. highly recommended for a couple date as the ambience is perfect for it.

great food but terrible service . they failed to provide service .chef joseph was amazing he is trying to provide good experience in dining but there is no waiter to look at the table . we felt like lonely at dinner time at 9 pm there is a hugestaffbut they are not even asking for glass of water. at 9.55 pm a lady came to me and saying that we are closing in 5 minutes while having desert we feel like something very bad about it . they just spoiled my visit. .

have visited urban kitchen to celebrate a very special occassion. the friendlystaffneeds to be specially mentioned here. but the food was not that tasty for their prices. we went there on a weekday and chose the al a carte menu. so i cannot review their buffet meals.

we've tried here for dinner buffet. the food variety is amazing!
and thestaffare nice and so accommodating.
im not really a fan of buffet, but here we are eating our hearts out!
i've tasted some of the dishes and i liked the prawns the most since shrimp/prawn are my favorite! :d the texture is awesome, so soft, it taste so good too.
i also tried their seafood mixed rice, nothing special, not so tasteful.
next was the duck, its roasted. and yes, it is so yummy! perfectly cooked inside and out.
the pad thai is not so special, just like the normal pad thai from other thai resto.
sushi/maki taste nice. you know it's freshly rolled :d
and there are so many food to choose from, but my happytummy is so much full.
next time i'll visit, definetly eating more! :d

we decided to try out the buffet in urban kitchen at dusit thani - abu dhabi on a thursday. thursday, only because it was going to be a seafood night, and the mr. and i never had a chance to try out a seafood buffet. on the day of the buffet we received a call from astaffat the restaurant telling us that the seafood buffet had changed to international buffet as they had to cater to a group of 200 people. we were totally disappointed. however, the lady told us that those of us who had booked in for a seafood buffet would get seafood platters served on our table. that didn't sound too bad...as long as we got lobsters, prawns, scallops and everything seafood. so, we decided to try out the buffet anyway.

we of course like any other average joe, bought a groupon online & that is why it had value for money!! apart from the lavish interiors , extravagant design & soothing lights there was nothing i could find fault with. all jokes aside, it was a nice experience which my fiancé enjoyed a little more than me.
maybe my expectations were high, but the choices were normal or even mundane, if i could say that!! having said that every item on display was tastefully laid out, looked very appetizing & did taste good. if only they had a bit more variety in the dinner seafood buffet!! the waiter & waitress, seeing as there were only two of them, were very hospitable & went out of their way to accommodate us. also the chefs who were cooking to order made a difference, by personalizing the experience. the chef at the grill counter was a little hesitant to grill more than one piece of anything that was pointed out. me being the voracious eater that i'm, put aside shame & kept pointing until all the skewers were used.

the deserts were like before- excellent in taste but lacking in creativity & character. at this age & stage, restaurants without michelin stars put the ones with them to bed early, so unless they spice us their act & find the right temperature to work, fewer & fewer people might be returning.

but i will definitely go back because i really do hate their soothing lights , with lavish interiors & very friendly, hospitablestaffwho patiently wait with professionalism, until the very end!!
