i’d probably give thisplace4.5/5 instead of just 4 if i could. i had a bbq pulled pork pizza with bacon and pepper jack that was delicious. it was a thicker crust, which i’m not the biggest fan of, but flavors and quality of ingredients were on point.

had heard about thisplacefrom a friend who said she loved their buffet and their mixed drinks. being quite a fan of mixed drinks myself i decided to take her up on her offer of going here for brunch. ever heard of the expression "don't judge a book by its cover", well that's exactly what happened here.
on the outside it looks cool and very very trendy, alas everything comes to a halt when the food comes out. lacklustre pasta, flavourless soup, burnt bread, i could go on.
do yourself a favour and steer clear of their buffet.

ok food, horrible service. have tried thisplaceseveral times, and hate to say it but we keep trying despite the poor service. wait times can be extreme, you may walk in and stand there for a while before anyone even greets you, or your server can just forget about you and your food while she goes outside to take a smoke break and not even thank you for your patronage at the end of the meal as she throws your check down on the table.

classy restaurant in south st. louis. my bro and i just came in for a beer and pizza and were pleasantly surprised at the beautiful eatery on morganford rd just a block away from tower grove park. we ordered a supreme pizza ( everything on it) and while we waited we saw some great looking food go by . we talked to some of the people around us and everyone agreed it was a greatplaceto eat. the service was good, the pizza was delicious and the ambiance was warm and cheery . i will definitely be back to try some of the yummy looking items on the menu.

love the look of this bar/restaurant! all the dark wood and high ceilings! greatplaceto have pizza and drinks with friends!

did not vote this time. when i am in the vast minority on aplacesometimes i choose not to vote this is one of "those" places. the usual 4 went here for brunch today 1/9/2011. not close to the ol hood so it was a nice drive into the city. i have read the reviews and wanted to try this place. i liked the choices very interesting. shrimp tempura, cold shrimp, carved beef, sausage, bacon, omelette, biscuit and gravy, mussels, salad, so the variety was there some dishes of all things the bacon and scrambled eggs were just great. the tempura was also in the great side of the column. now here comes the one big thing that was consistent with every dish nothing that was supposed to be served warm was warm. all the "hot' items were cool to cold. my coffee was even cool. so i guess i was not really a fan but wonder if it is normal or just a bad day for the sterno? the pizza was cold and it was under a hot lamp! wow what potential. hope your visit is better than mine

i live 2 blocks away and have been 10ish times. almost every time i have had to wait forever to get a server or my food. it makes a simple dinner un-enjoyable.

one week night earlier in the fall i my gf and i went there for a 'quick' pizza.... it turned int 1.5 hours and theplacewasnt even busy

also, it is not even remotely good pizza. dewey's, pi, the good pie, and about 100 other pizza places in st louis are way better.

the sunday brunch is among the best in st. louis. from it's affordable price to cold smoked salmon to mac and cheese bites then biscuits, gravy and omlett bar, thisplaceadds uniqueness with a full spread of a good brunch!

hello new menu!!!!. we have been the thisplacequite a few times and i can't tell you how glad we are to see the jungle theme gone! they have a spectacular new simple and easier to read menu. love the added pizzas and appetizers, especially the red chili pepper hummus being a vegetarian. always nice to have a server remember us!

mr neuracnu's must be from a different planet in his expert review. he probaly likes courtesy better.

i don't get this.. i'm having a hard time understanding all the glowing review on this site for three monkeys. are people going to the sameplaceas i am? the one with uncomfortable seating, notoriously slow service, bland pizza and boiled ribs? i went to one of their sunday brunches (admittedly shortly after opening) and was appalled at the buffet - cold, rubbery pancakes, unappetizing fruit plate and i had to pick shells out of the scrambled eggs.

fantastic food and friend service!. this is the best pizza i've found in st. louis. the quicksand is my personal favorite - and if you don't like some of the toppings they will usually let you switch them out (much more cost effective than adding toppings to a cheese pizza). the best part about three monkeys is that all the food is incredible - and so are the drinks. at current theplaceis a bit smoky, and you have to arrive early or be prepared to wait.
