loved everything, the building, the menu, the price, then i got my food!. so un imaginative....we were so disappointed. my husband got a fire in the hole pizza. he really disliked the taste. pork was too wet & overwhelmed the whole slice. pizza was not hot in temperature or seasoning. i got the chicken parmesan. pasta was boring, veggies were not done in pasta, chicken tasted microwaved. very little marinara sauce on top. $37 would have been better spent elsewhere. such a cool ambiance, they deserve a chef who can pull that off! service was very good, our girl took verygoodcare of us.

had potential but failed. got off to a bad start, had to wait for 20 minutes with several empty tables in plain view. the drink i ordered was great. lobster rangoons were $8 for 5 small and tasteless morsels. $9 gyro consisted of some shreds of nasty lettuce, a sad excuse for tzatziki, and 3 small slices of gyro meat (no tomatoes, wth?). $9 bbq bourbon beef sandwich had verygoodbeef and sauce but the cheap, store bought bun fell apart and made the sandwich a mess (why no pickles?). fries with both meals were disgustingly soggy. i would consider going back for drinks, but the $30 worth of food was a joke.

wouldn't go back. the wait was really long... it took forever to get the orders in (server was mia and no... it wasn' t busy) and the food took a while to come out. we hit the last 20 minutes of the buffet time on sunday and they said we couldn't have it. so, instead we had to sit and watch everyone else eat it while it took them agood40 minutes from sit down at the table to get our food to our table. nothing worth returning for. bummer.

favorite pizza. the tomato basil pizza is my favorite pizza in st louis. i love the atmosphere - very pretty bar. brunch didn't impress me for the price. there are also long waits because there isn't a lot of room and people like to linger.

great pizza. i love st louis pizza as much as the next native but, sometimes agoodfresh pie is just what i need. i had the cheese pizza, more of a pizza margherita, which was amazing. fresh fresh fresh. i could have used a little more tomatoe, but it was amazing. i reheated the leftovers for days and it was delicious every time.

the atmosphere is great, reminds me of a chicago bar for some reason. sidewalk seating was tempting but it was nice inside. i highly recommend.

an ok brunch. i went to three monkeys with a group of friends to have brunch recently. there is a very nice, large bar with lots of wood andgoodatmosphere; there's also another dining room where most of the food was set up. there was a decent assortment of appetizers and traditional breakfast food, such as pancakes, bisquits and gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage. the chicken marsala was prettygoodand the bacon was excellent. there was a nice choice of cheeses, crackers, fresh fruit and desserts. but the highlight was the pasta/omlette station in the bar. my friend said her omlette was asgoodas it gets. i tried some penne pasta with red sauce, bacon, mushroom and it was very good. the chocolate mousse cake and chocolate chip cookies gotgoodreviews. the price is right at about $15.99 and that includes a mimosa or bloody mary.
the staff was very friendly and coffee and dish service for the brunch was good. i give it 3/5 stars.

overhypyed. this place sucks.

i live 2 blocks away and have been 10ish times. almost every time i have had to wait forever to get a server or my food. it makes a simple dinner un-enjoyable.

one week night earlier in the fall i my gf and i went there for a 'quick' pizza.... it turned int 1.5 hours and the place wasnt even busy

also, it is not even remotelygoodpizza. dewey's, pi, thegoodpie, and about 100 other pizza places in st louis are way better.

nice place. food was good, not great. ribs were on the edge of dry or overcooked. the red beans and rice was outstanding.

the sunday brunch is among the best in st. louis. from it's affordable price to cold smoked salmon to mac and cheese bites then biscuits, gravy and omlett bar, this place adds uniqueness with a full spread of agoodbrunch!

the best for the money. i'm wondering if i've been to the same three monkeys as the reviewer below me, because i've had nothing butgoodexperiences at this local spot.

three monkeys offers a great value for the casual diner. the jungle love nachos are one of my favorites and they are huge. the pulled pork really sets them off.

i also love to go there for lunch during the week. they have a list of about 5 sandwhiches or salad for $8.95 it comes with a drink and a side as well. i picked up lunch for me and a co-worker and the bill was under $20.

finally i come to the pizza. i am not a fan of super thick crust pizza, so for me this is by far the best in town. it's hand tossed and comes with lots of toppings. i absolutly love the meat lovers.

three monkeys has always been a great experience for me, and i've always had friendly service. it's definately one of my favorite places to go.

i didn't know what to expect-- but i was pleased when i walked in; the décor was different and welcoming it was like a hip little bar in the middle of grand and arsenal-- beer selection is great-- lots of vartiey on tap my i suggest the delirium-- it's agoodhoppy beer with agoodfruity after taste !!!!!

great for lunch. the lunch specials at three monkeys are hard to beat. an entree, side and a drink for $7.00 is one of the best bargains in town! my only concern is how can they serve food thisgoodat such a low price?

quick service & tasty food. i enjoyed 3 monkeys. the service was quick and the food was average fare prepared well. i liked the ribs. the sauce was really tasty, but the ribs could have used a bit less sauce. on my next visit, i'll ask for the sauce on the side. goodq should be able to stand on its own without being smothered with sauce. the accompanying salad and vegies were great as well.
