7 out of 10.. super friendly staff who's very knowledgeable about what they serve.greatbeer selection and pleasant bar area. the food was just so-so, kind of an imitation of what/how they think brits eat. not so much authentic, but a good try.

wonderful little place!!! we stopped in to kill a little time and found a true gem. the staff was amazingly friendly and charismatic.greatselection of beer on tap. we made several friends at the bar that we are still in touch with months later. now the food. we got the scotch eggs and reuben eggrolls for appetizers, both were so tasty. the scotch eggs were cooked perfectly, the eggrolls were like eating a perfectly cooked mini-reuben. we wanted the chicken fried ribeye, but they were sold out. nice to know they don't let food sit around week to week. we settled for the chicken fried chicken and it was not disappointing. overall the atmosphere is great, the crew was wonderful and the food was on point. combine that with thegreatbeer selection and you have a winning place.

the atmosphere alone is unlike anything else i've found in baton rouge.greatplace to go any time of the day or night. the food does not disappoint. fish & chips is a staple item that is always good. pork sliders are flavorful. shepherds pie is pretty incredible as well. i've eaten here at least a handful of times and have yet to find something bad on the menu.

great food and atmosphere!. we thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to the londoner and long to go back. we tried a couple of different rounds of the beer samplers. green mussel appetizer as well as cheese fries (all yummy!). the fish n chips were amazing! everything is fresh, the fish was beautifully flaky and crispy. the dill tartar sauce was so good i could eat it with everything. hubby got the steak and ale pie which was a big strong in flavor for me, but he enjoyed. i also tried the sheperd's pie which was also very tasty. for dessert we had the sticky toffee pudding and the fried bread pudding. all so good.greatexperience and anyone we've referred has said the same. cant wait to go back!

favorite restaraunt. this has quickly become my go to place. i love everything about it.greatservice, delicious food, and the owners are friendly. they also have agreathandle on social media. they rungreatevents and are always communicating with their guests.

one night we tweeted that we felt the seasoning on the chips (fries) had changed. the owner came out and talked to us about it. he thanked us for our honest critique. i made sure to mention that it wasn't a complaint just wondering and that we love the food and really appreciated his trying to make sure everything was perfect.

get some fish and chips and try the chicken tikka masala!

burgers + fish & chips. i always get the burger (which is one of my favorite in town), and my bf always gets the fish and chips. it's our go-to place when we want a lot of food that's really really good and an affordable price.greataddition to the br restaurant scene!

what happened?. used to love this place. it wasgreatfood, atomsphere, vibe, everything. now, not so much. owners seemed to have changed their minds about staying british and are adding too much louisiana bar stuff and food. been a big change in how this place is run in the last two weeks. big thumbs down.

not really english. although it has a name suggesting a bit of uk atmosphere, this is pretty much a baton rouge fantasy. the food is just so-so, but the atmosphere is pleasant enough. service is good and the selection of brews is excellent. one might inquire why i bother with such an imposter of a place like the londoner. well, if i mention that i love soccer football and enjoy hanging out with like minded fans, maybe you'll understand. i have enjoyed many games on the telly, nursing a pint of my favourite ale, stout or beer. when the place is packed with futbolistas all cheering in unison, it fits the bill for me. join us at the next date for the usa national teams, euro, uefa or mls match. you'll have agreattime and help to support the greatest sport on earth. football forever!!!

the true "good mood food". my wife and i have been here several times and have enjoyed it every time. we've been for brunch and split corned beef hash and a curry chicken wrap. both were excellent. the "chips and curry" appetizer is agreatvalue and can be split by 4-6 people easily. the shepard's pie is great, and so is the steak and ale pie (think about your mom's beef pot pie, and then imagine it being better!). and of course, the draft beer selection is rivaled only by places like the chimes

it'll do.... the londoner has agreatbeer selection and a number of british dishes (pasties [meat pies], steak and ale pie, chips and curry, etc.). although the chips (fries) weren't the same cut as traditional, thick-cut fries, they were well seasoned and the curry dips were very good. the fish was fresh and flakey but the macaroni and cheese was too soupy. my friends were impressed with the sliders but didn't like the wings. nice atmosphere and trivia on thursdays.

just like in uk!. the food wasgreatand for thegreatprice! me, my husband and our 2 y.o. son had an appetizer and each had a meal and total was 45$! we still had leftovers.
their beer selection is great, lots of samuel smiths and other good beers.
the stuff was very friendly, and the atmosphere is nice and relaxing. it'll work for friends night out as well as the family dine out.

excellent fare, greatbeer, terrific atmosphere. the londoner pub and grill is agreataddition to the south baton rouge scene. 10+ visits and i haven't had a bad experience yet. the atmosphere is wonderful, whether for a beer after work, a night on the town, or a nice date. the portions are ample, the prices are fair, and the food and service are superb. i recommend the tower of london burger and the sheperd's pie, and the cheesy hampton fries are done perfectly. enjoy a pint from the ample beer list, and tip your server. if you haven't been yet, you are missing out!
