best fillet mignon in town!. very nice atmosphere, friendly staff, great food. i ordered a 10oz fillet mignon, and it turned out to be the best piece of meat iv'e ever had. cooked exactly how i asked for it, very tender, and came wrapped in lean bacon. the rice pilaf that came with it was nice too. my starter was a mushroom dish that was absolutely delicious. my brother ordered a full rack of ribs, and said they were about as good as tony roma's. i stole some of his bbq rib sauce and put it on my fillet mignon.... amazing! the waitress never let our ice tea reach the bottom of the glass, and was very friendly, despite the fact that every single table in the building was full, and there were about 20 people waiting for tables in the lobby. the food was still fast and fresh. after tip, my meal was about 57 dollars... which is alot to some, but keep in mind i'm a heavy tipper and i had an appetizer. my brothers meals were less. overall, i loved the restraunt and plan on going again.

only with a large group.... i have eaten at the keg several times. the staff is much more attentive with a larger group, and it is next to impossible to have a relaxing meal for two as they are trying to seat the next table as quickly as possible. i won't go here unless it's with a larger group in the future. the food is fine, but not something i'm willing to wait in the lobby for 90 minutes to experience. carver's is a better choice and you will leave feeling relaxed, not shoved out the door.

typical steak-joint. the atmosphere is incredibly dated inside, especially in the lounge- crt tv's built into an oak bar!
the staff are ok, but somewhat under skilled for the price point.
if you know steak you will be incredibly disappointed on how much they overcook the steak- my advice would be to order 1-2 steps down to ensure it isn't overdone (ie. medium rare comes out well done).

good steak. but prices are retarded, and staff is pretentious. many other places with same great steak for much less. if you want to spend this much, go to johns or carvers.

average. the keg has a beautiful decor and atmosphere on the inside, with a decent amount of parking out front.

i found the service to be very polite and prompt but at the same time very "tip toe lah tee da" if you know what i mean. i suppose it would be appropriate for a restaurant of that fashion. i don't know about you guys but i would prefer the service to tend me to when i require something, not constantly sucking up to me.

portion size is fair for the majority of their dishes. however more than once i have walked away from the keg still feeling very hungry, despite the fact that i spent over 90 dollars. mind you that was dinner for two with appetizer and desert but no wine.

meat quality is decent, by all means its not the best quality steak ive ever had but its definitely not the poorest either.

i would like to say that the keg would be something i would reserve for celebrations of special occasions but at the same time i can also think of better, cheaper, more filling establishments as well.

i suppose it boils down to ones personality.

it's the keg. for a chain restaurant, these guys are very consistent and the prices are not at all unreasonable. had some appys and beer before a show the other night, (nothing mindblowingly exotic) very good, cheesy nachos, an almond-crusted goat cheese plate and cheesy herbed garlic shrimp, all perfectly wonderful. they've cooked a steak or two in their time as well:)

was very nice. there alabama slammer is to die for. soooo good. the appetizer was good, the drinks were good, my partners meal was good, mine....meh. the teriyaki chicken had very little flavour. the mashed potatoes were not the greatest either. despite this it was a very positive experience and i would go back.
