bad guacamole. the rest of my table was very happy. i however, ordered the fajitas..but just couldn't get past that served it with canned guacamole. if i pay this much for a meal, i would expect better.

expensive, but great!. i went here for a staff christmas party last year. the food was absolutely amazing, however quite expensive for the portion sizes. 90% of the time i can't finish a dinner meal at most restaurants and bring the leftovers home for my hubby to eat later, however at the keg i felt that i was still hungry after eating the chicken with garlic mashed potatoes. still, the taste and quality is fantastic. the atmosphere is classy, yet welcoming!

always full and satisfied. the keg never dissapoints when it comes to a nice well cooked steak. be ready to shell out about a good 50-60 dollars if you plan on ordering appetizer, entre, and wine tho. for the price and taste i'd give it a 7/10, but since the quality and service is so consistent 8/10 is a more accurate rating.

overpriced. i've been to the keg many times in the past. i went back last week for the first time in over one year. i have ordered the new york steak - keg sized - $32.95. it came with a baked potato for the side.

for the price that i paid, i was expecting a delicious steak. i ordered medium rare - it was over cooked a little bit (medium / med. done). the steak was rough, it was not juicy either. nothing like the keg in edmonton.

the service was just okay. took awhile for someone to get our orders and then waited 15minutes for the food to arrive. after that, the waitress came by 3-4times, which is good.

over cooked...again. i dont see why constantly the steaks are over cooked and sometimes even burnt! for the price you're paying for the food would hope for a decent cook in the back! the prime rib is usually a safe bet if you dont want anything cooked over a medium

consistently good. the food here is consistently good, if a bit pricey. (2 steak dinners, an appetizer & 2 drinks will run about $85) i usually order the sirloin oscar (top sirloin with asparagus, scallops, shrimp and bernaise sauce) with the twice-baked potato and have never been disappointed.
good, though not outstanding, service and atmosphere.

love this place. i love this place, as it's food is consistently awesome! one of my fave's is the warm artichoke and spinach dip, and their prime rib is excellent! the staff and service are also great!

good but pricey. the food here is always delicious and it's got a great atmosphere. the servers are really friendly and professional. it is expensive though. we usually come here about once a year for a great meal, but can't afford it more than that!

best steak....ever!!. my wife and i went out to the keg to celebrate our 25th anniversary. the service was great, the food came fast and we both left satisfied. we had two sirloin steaks, mine was keg size. wow what fantastic steak!! the baked potatoes were equally as good. it was my last dance with cholesterol and it was well worth the $75 tab which included 20% tip.

with sarah’s father living in saskatoon, we took the opportunity to get together during our concert road trip. having never met mr t, but like so many other initial encounters, my first face-to-face was going to happen over supper. with her father enjoyin

mixed thoughts. i went here last night for the first time with a coworker, i was incredibly impressed with the quality of food and service.
we ordered the steak meal and the chicken cutlet, and both were amazing, as were the (slightly expensive) drink selections.

however, i was not impressed by the type of clientele this restaurant attracts, about 3 metres from the table i was sitting at, was a obnoxious gathering of 3 tables of fratboys yelling for the entire duration of our meal.

consistently good. you can always count on the food at the keg - they do what they do very well. wish they could stock a few more beers on tap but that might be a corporate decision. i loved that they had dessert "shooters" - mini versions of desserts in small glasses.

i also like the dark "woody" atmosphere of the place, and it does have a classy feel to it. too many fools wearing ballcaps and t-shirts though. come on saskatoon, is it that hard to put on a shirt and take off your hat when you're out for dinner?

service is good, but not memorable. but that's not necessarily a bad thing depending on the occasion. watch out for parking though - the lot is pretty tight on a busy night.
