this place is heaven for chinese food lovers

when in manali, visit johnson's at least once. the ambience of the place is impeccable. the service is fast and courteous. the food is also pretty amazing, especially with the live music.

right off the bat, i cannot overstate how good the food is here. it's been 3 days since i ate here and the memories are quite vivid. 

the ambiance here is spectacular. we were here during the rains and even then the interiors were fantastic. in the sunshine this place would be magic.

service was a little on the slow side, but nothing objectionable.

the food was a revelation especially for a smaller town like manali. i had the french fries (flawlessly executed), honey chilly potatoes (the single best example of this popular dish i have ever had the pleasure of tasting), and a simply phenomenal peppery aglio olio (sun dried tomatoes were a master stroke here). the only slightly off note was from the cold mezze platter which wasn't entirely as good as the rest, but one off dish can be excused.

pricing is incredibly heavy, 4 of us spent north of 4 thousand, including about 800 rs of beer. well worth the money spent though.

overall conclusion: when in manali, go here, end of.

this place is heaven, and i am not even kidding.  a place where you get to interact with a lot of people, boho vibes, food is great.

food with a view, you can hear birds chirping.  
munched like a kid, cuz obviously was high xd and this doesn't goes out. 
looking forward to take my girl here, she would love this place.

pizza is always the first choice when it comes to mid evening carvings... and live to have them with beer.
and when its wood fired oven pizzas .....it will definitely delicious.

the place is not worth visiting. the only good thing is ambiense. the food is poor. the service is worst. order takes ages to come.. the food is overpriced........

beautiful place.. live music was amazing.. the wine was siperb.. and the spicy chicken pizza was amazing. just loved it. the staff was courteous.

the place has a beautiful ambiance, very airy and boho. the place is very peaceful and scenic. the service is good and the staff is helpful. the portion served is good but the food tastes insipid . i wish they improve the taste of the food. otherwise, the place is a must visit. i really love the vibe there.

they own like the most amazing location in manali, i liked it more for the ambience than food though.sometimes they have performances inside the restaurant, and outer amphitheatre kind of an area, which is well advertised in manali
i think its more fun if you are staying with them and come out for evening snacks and a stroll.

the place is very nice. this place have live band. the staff's are friendly. the taste of the food was ok, and the price is too high. the bar menu are limited.

very beautiful place. the garden outside itself will mesmerize you. there was live music inside so you can get taste of both worlds. i ordered a margherita pizza and a veg arrabiata spaghetti pasta. the pizza was really good, the pasta was really oily and could have been better. considering all factors the place is a must visit.

we ordered fish fingers , cold coffee , watermelon delight, pasta, pizza and garlic bread
my favourite was cold coffee and fish fry
the watermelon delight was not upto my overall expectations so it can be avoided
friendly staff but the food takes around 20 mins because its prepared fresh
overall a great experience and should not be missed

loved every bit of this place. if i remember the most about manali, this time after the snowfall, is only "the johnson's cafe". the interior was super aesthetic and very insta-worthy. the place is too huge, that one can chill at one corner, and children can play outside, there's a place for everyone. the staff is very humble and courteous.
talking about food, oh god, so i have ordered on day 1, " fish fingers with tartar sauce" what a amazing taste it has, the fish is soft and delicious, btw whenever you visit here, i totally recommend you to try the fish.on day 2, "alu paratha platter which include dahi and very amazing pickle" and " sunny side-up"everything is delicious and i wish could try more there.

ambience was average but the food was very poor. tasteless margherita pizza and same for spicy chicken pizza. very average food and when called up staff to let them know about the same, there attitude was rude and the service as well was average. think before spending.
