when you enter this property you’re blown away by the aesthetics and decor. perfectly located near circuit house road . its a huge property with indoor and outdoor seating.chickentikka and pasta in mixed sauce are a must try. though its a little high priced but when you experience the live music with great food and drinks it becomes a worthwile experience. its a must visit place when going to old manali.

what could go wrong in a café situated in such a scenic location? turn out anything and everything...from rude waiters, lazy service to gut wrenching food. even the bare minimum expectation of taste of highly overpriced food is not satisfied by this café...lamb tasted like shit,chickenwas overly normal and pasta was below a third grade restaurant. on top of this it took more than half an hour to serve these shitty dishes...no feedback mechanism

tried their famous almond sauce trout and stuffedchickenbreasts and i have to say, the trout didn't really resonate with me. the place definitely is one of the best in terms of the vibe, but the food was only a 3 star for me. the service was extremely poor though.

first of all, the place seems lit from outside and it was indeed lit once we got inside... the interiors and ambience of the place is super good. now coming back to food, we had ordered garlic breads,chickenpizza, veg pizza,chickenburger and veg arrabiata pasta... we liked almost all the dishes except garlic bread and pasta which somehow seemed and tasted like a naan. the pasta was undercooked for which we asked a replacement and gladly they honoured the request and provided a fresh nicely cooked pasta... overall the experience was nice 👌🏻

ambience is good. taste is just ok. prices are reasonable. we requested whether they can arrange candle light dinner. they denied. i tried crispy friedchickenand pasta. didn't like the chicken. pasta is ok. i just liked the creamychickensoup here.

manali and the johnson's cafe go hand in hand. i clearly remember having the best time with my friends when i had last visited the place which was around 8 years back. visiting the cafe just recently was a trip down the memory lane. the place felt same and the food even better. i find the johnson's cafe a perfect hangout spot to chill with family and friends. pick anything from their menu and am sure you won't be disappointed. however, wood fired pizzas and burgers are a must must try here.

being in manali for few hours after humpta pass trek meant going for a good and long shower (effects of not having bath for 5 days🤭) and binge eating at the johnson's cafe.😝

ordered my all time favoritechickentikka pizza and chili chicken. wanted to treat my palate with spicy and real food.🤤🤤 pizza was crispy, wood fired thin crust with perfect flavors. chilichickenwas tender and cooked to perfection with chinese sauces.😍

good food, good music, good ambience (better if you have an european palate, ears..) no butterchickenor roti!

beautiful place.. live music was amazing.. the wine was siperb.. and the spicychickenpizza was amazing. just loved it. the staff was courteous.

ambience was average but the food was very poor. tasteless margherita pizza and same for spicychickenpizza. very average food and when called up staff to let them know about the same, there attitude was rude and the service as well was average. think before spending.

on our travel to manali we decided to lunch at the very famous johnson's cafe situated just 2kms from mall road. this place has beautiful garden surrounding the cafe along with tables alongside. the ambience is superb and you'll feel the natural air when here. johnsons has really good food with great healthy options. heres a list of the dishes we tried.

1. cafe frappe - blended coffee with vanilla ice cream and fresh cream. a refreshing choice on a sunny day.

2. watermelon delight - watermelon chunks mixed with soda, mint and slices of lemon. a healthy detox option you can enjoy here. the watermelon coupled with mint just refreshes your mouth and body.

3. tomato mozzarella and basil pesto- mozzarella pieces served with tomato pieces sprinkled with olive oil, basil leaves and pesto garnish. this healthy salad is delicious. the mozzarella melts in your mouth and the tomato adds to the tangy flavour. a good way to start your meal.

4. smokedchickensandwich - smokedchickenmixed with onions, tomatoes, cucumber and mayonnaise. the sandwich was toasted and served with fries and sauce. the smokedchickenhad a good flavour and thechickenwas very fresh.

5. arabiattachickenpasta - we had chosen flat noodles as a choice of our pasta. this red sauce pasta was tossed with special herbs and sprinkled with mozzarella cheese and served with garlic bread. just mouth watering is our only opinion.

eating at the johnsons cafe is nothing but peaceful. the serenity of the nature around will make you stay there forever. hence when you visit manali consider dining here once

nice and cozy place. we ordered trout fish which was really good. along with that we ordered manali localchickencurry which i found to be very ordinary. loved the decor.

we ve had almost everything in this beautiful cafe from coffee to desserts, lasagne to pizzas and their wood oven trout in all the three sauces. everything is just so amazing. my personal favourites were wood oven trout and there pizzas, even therechickencurry is worth trying. the staff is polite and nice. ambience is beautiful and cozy. love this place in short when in manali you can't miss this one.

i was in love with this place right from the moment i had entered it. it has a beautiful garden with a view of the majestic mountains. there is seating both indoors as well as outdoors. the whole place has such a beautiful vibe . right from the colourful interiors to the eye catchy decors , everything is simply perfect.
it is a great place to chill and relax with family and friends . you can also get yourself comfortable in a corner and do your work in silence.
i went there for brunch along with my friends .
we had ordered crispy friedchickenand margarita pizza.
thechickenhad a whole lot of different flavours, it was sweet as well as a bit tangy . it was not much to my liking.
the pizza was good , the base was fresh and the sauce was okay .

you should definitely visit this place if you are in manali!

didn't have a good experience during my only visit here in august 2018.
had kingfisher premium for the lack of options at this place. orderedchickennachos, chowmien and a burger.
the service was prompt, nachos and chowmien were tasty. then came the burger. with hair in it. got it replaced to find a hair in the next one too. was done with the place.
it has a nice setting though. we sat in the garden. the interiors are also good.
