little desserts were aesthetically pleasing, not to mention extremely delicious. service was also very attentive toward customers and friendly :)

my cousin ordered green tea fresh cream as my birthday gift.

the best thing about the cake is it is not too sweet. macha flavour is mild as well. this means i can have huge serving without getting sated.

was craving for fresh cream sponge cake and tried a few places nothing good. i thought this places is western style and too sweet or heavy for me, so even with 4.4 stars i never tried. until last week( my hubby works on queen street and convenient for him to pick up) . it was so so so good! cream is so fresh and creamy, can just melt in your mouth like heavy. cake is moist, good sweetness and well combined with cream. best cream sponge cake in town for sure!!! after that whole cake, this week i tried the chocolate mousse. normally i don’t like chocolate cake or mousse cake, but this one wins my heart!!! it’s just so silky and smoothy, perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness. definitely will go back more often!

amazing dessert with nice looking. won't even lose if compare with milse. cake all taste really smooth and not too sweet which is pretty good.

fresh cream cake and chiffon cake are my favourites. there are some tables in the store though, i only pick up cakes. i wish i would sit and taste a cup of coffee here too.

the gateau house is perfect for meeting up with friends to hang out or study. the little treats are awesome and there is free wifi. additionally, the staff are always very friendly.

staff were very smiling and accommodating.
each cake was crafted as art. we had chocolate mousse. it was wooow!
however, some of the cakes tastes okay, we could get from a regular cake shop with lesser price but tastes better.

great presentation and delicious desserts! friendly service and clean and tidy store. prices aren’t too expensive either. love the look of the desserts. i tried the creamy strawberry mousse which was very tasty and totally instagramable, also tried their kumara cake which was really yum.

get every birthday cake from the gateau house! price is reasonable and taste very good. my favorite one is marble chiffon and recommended everyone have a try!

go-to place for celebration cakes. delicious flavours and beautiful textures. i love their chocolate range, tiramisu, mango mousse and blueberry yogurt cakes. quite pricey for the size but the taste definitely makes up for it.

i've tasted so many of their cakes and most of them are average af, definitely not worth the price. i would go but somewhere else

that classic cake shop that a tonne of kids grew up with & knew of ‘cus that’s all everyone ate. 😝 even though there’s so many new cake places that has appeared over the yrs, this place will always be a favourite filled with sweet childhood memories. anyways, this post ain’t actually about their cake ‘cus i’m sure the whole country knows about them. i had this beautiful matcha cake a while ago and discovered the taste of their macarons which i definitely need more of. ok, macarons in general are just stunning but i remember this was kinda different. the filling was deliciously creamy.

i love this place! i have been to 3 branches. the service and variety is good, great value for quality. the seating area is super cute and a great place to bring children, friends, coworkers etc
