i literally couldn't and didn't want to even put the huuuuuge burger down while eating the thing just incase some got away 😂😂 i was in burger nirvana!! such a rad little chilled spot ... epic friendly and intelligent staff always making the visit that much better.. love

supersize good burgers. crispy fries. good selection of drinks. i like the self service way of ordering and all the concept around that restaurant

brilliant place, the people are amazing and so friendly. we will drive all the way there again from the helderberg. breakfast was huge and affordable. it's a must go to place. so vibey

i pride myself in finding the perfect burger. to date this is one of the best i've had. couple that with the quirky ambiance of the restaurant and the friendliest staff you could meet and you have the perfect evening. went back the following morning for breakfast only to be welcomed like old friends. cannot recommend this enough.

the biggest burger you will ever come across! this restaurant is very different to the norm. it was a nice experience as you have to go write your name on the chalk board and once the food is ready they will call your name to collect it. restaurant is in a little garage which is quite cute. i could only eat half the burger as it was so big. a downside of this was that the patty itself was also very big so it was a bit raw on the inside. the tacos that they offer in the afternoon was a bit disappointing and expensive for how small it is.

the dogs bollocks takes first place for the biggest burger in cape town. however, it lacks flavour, the patty is very processed and the food is way over-priced. we also waited over an hour for 2 burgers. definitely not the best burger spot in town.

i really enjoyed my experience here. the restaurant itself is a little small and the menu is limited but if you're in the mood for great burgers that is exactly what you'll get. the burgers are super tasty and the ordering system is quite fun. they only make a certain amount of burgers per night, so make sure you get their early. the service was great as the waitress was really friendly and interactive.

great soulfood and real down to earth vibe. good vlue for money. huge scrumptious portions. a definite bucket list experience. i for one will definitely be returning soon...and often.

the best breakfast in town in my opinion, wet fries, oven baked in the same bowl as in the photo with chilli ,egg, bacon and beans! always a winner!

i have been coming here for 2 years now. my first time was in august 2014, and i had such a blast. the waitresses working there were amazing and ticked all my boxes in terms of service. but now the prices have increased terribly, the food quality has dropped significantly and all my favourite waitresses are not there anymore, that is too many to leave at once, which is incredibly weird, but let’s just talk about those prices for a moment, an establishment such as tdb should not have those kinds of prices, 5 star restaurants do not have this kind of ridiculous prices,( unless the money is worth the product), especially for a place that relies on its regulars, that is just screwing the customers over. overall, the dogs bollocks was amazing, so much that i had been going there for years, but now this is not the place for me.

the dog's bollocks only do burgers in one size: ginormous. not that you'll be complaining - their burgers are so good you'll never want them to end. the laid-back atmosphere and the simple set up makes the dog' bollocks such a great spot to grab a bit to eat.

a top spot for a big eat. they have very friendly wait staff, who quickly know you by name and make you feel at home. good quality food, from people who care about the experience.

our friends from cape town recommended this little alley restaurant to us. it has a great, laid-back vibe. i was a little disappointed to see that they removed the nachos from their menu and now only served burgers. massive burgers! way too much for a lot of people, including myself, so another (even just 1) menu option would have been great. the patties are not that great- it lacks flavour and texture. i like the idea of this place, but in this case i would have preferred quality over quantity. it is quite expensive, but a good experience overall.

a grungy gem, if there ever existed such a thing.

everyone raves about how awesome the burgers are because they're so huge. no folks, the bun is huge, not the actual burger. it was ok, nothing i would go back for.

i guess it's a cool vibe with a group of friends and you're stocked up cooler on a warm ct summers evening.
