the dark roast

like many other places in ahmedabad efforts were put on the atmosphere more than on the food. 
a cozy-artsy ambiance with boardgames is definitely appreciable, but thetasteis not following. very classic menu yet mocha and oreo shake were rather tasteless. fries with cheese (how can you miss this!) not yummy. 
spend more money on giving good products and tasty food !

we visited this cafe on a super hot monday afternoon yearning for a good of coffee. our order consisted of an iced coffee, a frappe and a french onion sandwich. now when you visit a place named 'the dark roast' you expect a coffee that would satisfy yourtastebuds and blow your mind but that was not the case. have had better coffee at 'non coffee' places.

the sandwich though, it was amazing. perfectly grilled sandwich filled with caramelised onions and mushrooms served with a mayo dip was a delight.

over all the place looks quite interesting but not so good coffee was quite a bummer for us.

it's new, it's fresh. we have been here about 3-4 times now and love it. the coffee is good, the pizza and pbj is also very good. decent place to sit/hang out. good job you guys. just make sure you keep up thetasteand quality of service.

what i loved the most about the cafe is, its descriptive menu 💕💁 every dish is ellaborated so well.
i was there with my friends, and here's our order
spiced mojito, iced coffee, french onion sandwich, alfredo pasta, lasagna toasties & bbq fries!!
tasted 4/5 liquids had too much ice, spiced mojito wasnt really spicy, just tasted tangy at the end, no presentation for liquids, i always prefer good presentation with goodtaste🙈
quantity was good ✌️
college students can afford it easily.

this place actually knows how to roast a coffee. it was a lovely evening well spent with all the different types of coffee and food. 
espresso - medium and dark : i have a really special thing for black coffee. it boosts up the body and makes u feel energetic. their quality of coffee beans is very superb. black coffee roasted perfectly : 4/5
cafe bombon : this one is a proper balance of sweet and bitter. sweetness below and bitterness above. after stirring it,tastegets perfectly blended together : 4/5
blackgrape floater : this had lots of ice and it was more sour than sweet. so i didn't quite like this one : 3/5
tdr fries : these fries were cooked perfectly. crispy and filled with sauces : 3/5
beetroot and basil pizza : so when the name of beetroot pizza comes to mind, everyone of us would think how can one like this pizza but this is where everyone gets proved wrong. it didn't even occur to me that it does have beetroot in it because they added less beetroot and more cheese which balanced thetasteand makes it worth having : 4/5
spicy classic cheese grilled : this is a sandwich which is a mixture of spice and cheese. it was tasty but bread could be more crispy : 3.5/5

the packaging was a mess; thetasteon other hand was okay-okay and hence 3 stars ! but i won’t repeat the order again

if genuine coffee is something that you are looking forward to, this is the only place in the city! this comes after having tried almost all top shot places in the town and a failed attempt to get anything above the authentictasteand texture of coffee that they serve. it has been almost 4 years and this place has never disappointed me in terms of consistency of quality. hygiene is a ++ at this place. to sum it all up, there is no better place than this if you are looking forward to your perfect cup of coffee with perfect ambience and hygiene!! don’t forget to try their malabar french press and barrel aged cold brew - my personal favourites!

it has a greattasteof food and totally loved the ambience of this place as well as the staff service.

i had ordered a mix sauce pasta which did not eventastelike a mix sauce pasta and the pasta was uncooked and raw.

it’s been 3 years since this cafe opened up and it has lived through a pandemic still has the sametastefor the iced mocha. one of the few consistent cafes in the city.

if you're a coffee lover and want to satisfy yourtastebuds, this is the right place. amazing variety and a cozy ambience is definitely a plus. would absolutely recommend it.

nice place for refreshment..although the i want to seat at first floor but they doesn't allow..which i didn't like because it's a very tiny place at dwonside..overalltasteis good..service can be improved..

went to this cafe with my blogger friend. it's a good place to hang out. ordered mocha frappe
and vietnamese iced coffee .too good liked it very much.mood booster no doubt about that.
need to visit again so that i cantastethe other dishes.

atleast one time for sure.. polite staff and ambitious. wanna try each and every item in the menu.. blueberyy dam yummmy and we feel the realtasteof the shake ...
