being an ardent fan of coffee, i am totally in love with this place. the music, the atmosphere, the ‘welcome’ movie painting 😂…its a different vibe altogether.
in love with their:
-butter croissant
-sriracha cheese grilled sandwich
-cappuccino 10/10
-fries
its a must visit for all thecafelovers out there.

the dark roast is a smallcafewith a very creative interior. they serve pizzas, sandwiches, fries, shakes, smoothies and much more. i ordered a mocha frappe and it was really good. the pizza that i ordered was heat wave and i must say that it was one of the best pizza's i have ever had. i loved the crust of the pizza and the chilli oil which was used on it as well.
the dark roast serves one of the best fries in the city. i ordered bbq fries and it was so amazing. the way they served surely was mouth watering.

loved the aroma of coffee in air.... kind ofcafewhere can spend hours and ofcourse with such delicious food

we visited thiscafeon a super hot monday afternoon yearning for a good of coffee. our order consisted of an iced coffee, a frappe and a french onion sandwich. now when you visit a place named 'the dark roast' you expect a coffee that would satisfy your taste buds and blow your mind but that was not the case. have had better coffee at 'non coffee' places.

the sandwich though, it was amazing. perfectly grilled sandwich filled with caramelised onions and mushrooms served with a mayo dip was a delight.

over all the place looks quite interesting but not so good coffee was quite a bummer for us.

today visited this place ...a compact two floorcafewith a corner allocated for books and games ...good option to fill in the gap or to hangout with friends

ordered bbq paneer sandwich....very tasty and quite heavy ...enough for one person.

ordered arrabiata pasta...it was good but not the best one.

ordered oreo shake based on the reviews ...again it was good...but had better than this at other places.

what i loved the most about thecafeis, its descriptive menu 💕💁 every dish is ellaborated so well.
i was there with my friends, and here's our order
spiced mojito, iced coffee, french onion sandwich, alfredo pasta, lasagna toasties & bbq fries!!
tasted 4/5 liquids had too much ice, spiced mojito wasnt really spicy, just tasted tangy at the end, no presentation for liquids, i always prefer good presentation with good taste 🙈
quantity was good ✌️
college students can afford it easily.
spacious enough.

one more goodcafein ahmedabad. which is very cosy yet comfortable and good with small menu out there though everything they have is very well prepared no disappointment in anything at all. goodcafeto hangout.

i have a fetish for ordering whipped cream with black coffee, which often makes people wonder skeptically about my awesomely-cultivated-amazing-taste-in-beverages.
but this place has my special beverage on the menu!cafevienna it is!
the beetroot pizza is a must have!

to begin with, the ambience is quite decent but thecafeis not quite extravagant in terms of size and seating arrangments. if you are planning for a getogether for over 8-10 people you might have to think twice or as a precaution it would take you a couple of calls to be rest assured that you wont have to wait once you reach there.
however the fooding experience is quite flamboyant. we order bbq panner sandwhich and arrabiata pasta and none of these disappointed us. the sandwiches were crisp and were supplimented with i guess red tartar condiment.the pasta however could have been less spicy, but it was perfectly garnished with olives, capsicum and broccoli.
overall coming here was worthwhile.

over the last few months, i've become a regular here at tdr. here are the top few reasons (of many):

1) they probably have one of the best curated music lists i've ever heard at acafein ahmedabad. beatles, electric light orchestra, snarky puppy, led zep etc.etc. so good!

2) brilliant coffee! i mean, fantastic.

3) they're super chill. you can come in and be creative, work or anything else. the owners love to have you, as long as you're respectful of course.

4) did i say they had awesome coffee?

it’s been 3 years since thiscafeopened up and it has lived through a pandemic still has the same taste for the iced mocha. one of the few consistent cafes in the city.

they have come up with an additional menu which is not supported by zomato gold. as per the gold policy only chef special dishes are excluded butcafehave their own policy.

the dark roast is the bestcafein the prahlad nagar area. i personally visit thiscafewith my fiance. my favorite dishes is mushroom sandwich and blueberry cheese cake.

nice , cosy ambience.

bit pricy.

games and cards need to be replaced.

hascafeoon first floor too .

coffee was authentic,hence bitter !

zomato gold isn't applicable on drinks,is a minus.!

tables bit small sized.. on first floor.

they are two seater tables, accommodating 4 people,with their food served on , is too much .
