the dark roast

i heard a lot about this place, and being a coffee lover i had to visit a place that's named "the dark roast" 😂
the ambience is good! i liked their coaters and their set of got.
coming to beverages! we tried a lot of them some were good some were not so good tbh! i asked for the dark once, so i tried the dark brew and vietnam, dark brew was not so dark and vietnam was ohkay! i was actually hoping better! oreo shake and french something were good! n the coffee with milk were also good, basically if you like your coffee sweet then this is the place!
now coming to food!!
i'll be very frank! the sandwiches were not to the mark! we had bbq paneer s/w, and actually salt was less and it was bald, i didn't like it! cheese s/w was good! falafal s/w was also okay! heat wavepizzawas too tangy otherwise it was good! cheesy garlic bread was good! bbq fries were not so good!!
tbh i heard a lot about this place and i was disappointed!
service is also good but they take too much time! my advice, send the things those r ready! i mean if i have ordered 3 sandwiches then it's not mandatory to send all the 3 together! same goes with shakes!
the owner was friendly enough, he even taught us the game 😂😂 and their menu is creative i'll give them that!
must visit once!!!

the dark roast is a small cafe with a very creative interior. they serve pizzas, sandwiches, fries, shakes, smoothies and much more. i ordered a mocha frappe and it was really good. thepizzathat i ordered was heat wave and i must say that it was one of the best pizza's i have ever had. i loved the crust of thepizzaand the chilli oil which was used on it as well.
the dark roast serves one of the best fries in the city. i ordered bbq fries and it was so amazing. the way they served surely was mouth watering.

it's new, it's fresh. we have been here about 3-4 times now and love it. the coffee is good, thepizzaand pbj is also very good. decent place to sit/hang out. good job you guys. just make sure you keep up the taste and quality of service.

nice place. ipl time so enjoyed a lot with food and friends. 😋😋 italian food is lovely. tried complimentary beetroot and basilpizzaand was so yum.. margaritapizzawith a twist was best out of all food. nice dough nice crust and so thin baked. 😋😋 tdr pasta was something unique and recommended. lasagna bites also too cheesy and yummy.

a lovely place with a lot of rock and pop playing i'm the background.they served me a caramel oreo shake which was insanely good. thepizzawas small but spicy and i loved it. my friend ordered the blueberry smoothe which was good too. the staff seemed a bit lost, but are good. pasta penne was too tangy that i lost the essence of other ingredients.

mint mojito was okayish.

this place actually knows how to roast a coffee. it was a lovely evening well spent with all the different types of coffee and food. 
espresso - medium and dark : i have a really special thing for black coffee. it boosts up the body and makes u feel energetic. their quality of coffee beans is very superb. black coffee roasted perfectly : 4/5
cafe bombon : this one is a proper balance of sweet and bitter. sweetness below and bitterness above. after stirring it, taste gets perfectly blended together : 4/5
blackgrape floater : this had lots of ice and it was more sour than sweet. so i didn't quite like this one : 3/5
tdr fries : these fries were cooked perfectly. crispy and filled with sauces : 3/5
beetroot and basilpizza: so when the name of beetrootpizzacomes to mind, everyone of us would think how can one like thispizzabut this is where everyone gets proved wrong. it didn't even occur to me that it does have beetroot in it because they added less beetroot and more cheese which balanced the taste and makes it worth having : 4/5
spicy classic cheese grilled : this is a sandwich which is a mixture of spice and cheese. it was tasty but bread could be more crispy : 3.5/5

yesterday i ordered flinstonepizzathat is a twist of margherita which is yummy , full of cheese.
this is the first time i have tried something from the dark roast.
would love to visit the place soon.

i have a fetish for ordering whipped cream with black coffee, which often makes people wonder skeptically about my awesomely-cultivated-amazing-taste-in-beverages.
but this place has my special beverage on the menu! cafe vienna it is!
the beetrootpizzais a must have!

the saladpizzawhich is so called chefs special.. is horrible.. tasted like shit.

the hot chocolate here is heaven. i visit them frequently for their hot chocolate. other than that mint mojito, tdr special pasta, flinstonepizzaand heat wavepizza(p.s. if you like spicy things) all these is worth the try.
this place will never disappoint you.
(p.s they even sell their hot chocolate premix.)

i don't know if i selected the wrong dishes to try out or what but i was expecting a 4-star experience here. tried alfredo pasta, which had a good mild cheesy sauce but the pasta were slightly undercooked. otherwise it was good in taste. heat wavepizzais a perfect choice for people who love spicy food. thepizzawas nice thin crust and spicy, but too small for 300 bucks!

at least the service could have been better , there was only one person on the top floor and hence he was slow to manage so many people present there.

the food was awesome..especially we liked the heat wavepizzain which we added mushrooms and its crust was thin and crispy..then we wanted to have something more cheesy so our eyes went on lasagne bites which was wonderful..afterwards we ordered the oreo shake which was one of the wonders.. our experience in the dark roast was great..

food is delicious . ambience is very nice . hazelnut coffee n captain planetpizzais must try . its awesome ! overall value for money it is

one word, flabbergasting experience!

after my couple of last visit to places around the ahmedabad made me really wonder, why places are charging so much for such bad quality food and at some places overcharging for their mistakes!

however, dark roast-- one of the few places where even at odd time of 3.30-4.00 o clock; there was no degrade in the food quality or the service! also i would like to mention that, it is one of the places where i mention that i have zomato gold and i have been treated like a normal being and not like some criminal who will not pay fully! really appreciate that gesture!

about the food, we have ordered pink sauce pasta,pizzaand mojito.. all three were really good! also we were served a smallpizzaon the tasting menu, which was amazing as well! i really appreciate these small efforts by an establishment; this really serve the concept of hospitality in true sense!

will surely visit again and try the rest of the menu!
