🤔 i dunno where to start. but to be honest, whether you're an indian or not, but you do enjoy indian cuisine, you will not eat anywhere else after visiting the crossings.

i was so excited to try their dishes for the first time together with friends. first, the cozy ambience is awesome, you enter and you your eyes will be greeted by a wide variety of bottled wines displayed on the shelves to make start anticipating what you're getting into😁.

we had chaat, dal moradabad, ragi khoozh, paneer tikka, chicken makhab malai, mangalorean chicken, mango curry, saag, dal crossings, thalassery biryani & some selection of breads.

all the dishes that went down into my belly were all wonderful but you all know that every where you go, you must have your favorites & mine were the chaat, dal moradabad, paneer tikka & the amaaaaaaazing mango curry which you can have it with rice or my favorite bread, the 'mangolorean' bun.

i'm sorry guys, i got carried away by these dishes right from the first bites and i couldn't go ahead taking photos of the remaining dishes. i even missed to take a photo of my top favorite mango curry🙈🙈.

a big shout out to the manager and his team of chefs and amazing service staff. see you guys soon, as i look forward to trying other items on your menu.

shukriya 🙏

a nostalgic take on fusion indian food & drinks with an ambient outdoor & indoor space in @thehdubai something for every spice lover with dishes catering to multicultural palettes. refreshing & a perfect fusion of east & west is how i would express my experience. loved the cocktails, grills and mains. we had the gunpowder prawns, chaat for starters, paneer tikka and seekh kebab for grills. for mains we had the goat curry, manglorean chicken curry and keema fried rice. the curries are absolutely a walk fown memory lane without being too heavy on the stomach. our favorite dessert is the daahi boondi. overall extensive menu for any palette type. can't wait to see what they have coming up for ramadan & summer for tasting menus and sharing platters. they have valet parking also
must visit 👌

i was travelling from london to dubai on business and went to 'the crossing' at h dubai on my last evening.

the restaurant is at the ground floor of h hotel dubai - chic décor and the lighting is just right. lovely bar with a great selection of new and old wines.

but the true winner is the absolutely delicious food. i was famished after a busy day at work and ended up ordering quite a few bits - all the starters and the mains were simply mouth watering.

special mention to the gunpowder prawns and mutton pulao which was just heavenly.

definitely coming back again and it's hard to now have indian food anywhere else after 'the crossing' experience.

never had indian cuisine before. this experience was
amazingly good. the starters were tasty in so many ways,
the main dishes had so many flavors and the dessert just
left me speechless. never knew frozen yogurt could be as
good as they make it, even had a beautiful story behind it
which our albanian waiter explained to us while he was
mixing everything. the whole staff was professional and well
mannered. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who has
never tried indian food cuisine before. 11/10 would
recommend to those who have, it'll be your to-go spot from
the first visit.

just came after a sumptuous & delicious meal at the crossing ! i can safely say that its the best indian food one can taste in dubai. apart from the fresh look & feel, ambience & personalized service that was just next level, it is the food that truly blew us away ! everything we were recommended was par excellence from the starters(prawn gun powder, chaat) , to the mains(meat pulao, raan, lal maas, mutton curry, butter chicken and a special mention for the dal makhni .....all absolute musts to try! and despite not having much room in the belly after such a elaborate spread , we just had to see what they had up their sleeves to please the sweet tooth & complete an exquisite meal .we went ahead with two recommended desserts and my word, were they delightful ! and to add the icing to the cake , we did not feel heavy or uncomfortable well after the meal like one can after eating indian food outside of one's home. that goes to show they have managed to make tasty food without it being too rich in oil , butter & spices. definitely going back to try the dishes we could not have just in one outing!

i have been to 50+ restaurants in dubai, but this is way better than all of them. the food is a very unique blend of modern pallette with historical dishes.

what an experience! thoroughly enjoyed the food and service at the crossing. every dish had a truly different flavor especially the gun powder prawns along with the prawn kala masala and succulent matze kebabs. dessert took me back to my childhood with the malai kesar sundae. highly recommend this dining experience if you’d like to experience different kinds of indian flavors.

excellent food and experience at the crossing

the crossing is a delightful experience, you go there expecting a lot and it lives up to your expectations. the ambience is subtle and classy, nothing is over the top, it’s not loud and it’s all about the food.

their focus is on good indian food, and from the lamb shank to the pulao it’s an absolute feast. we went there with a few friends and i’ve already recommended tc to so many folks, for their business lunch or otherwise. if you’re craving authentic, classy, mouth watering indian delicacies representing all parts of the country then tc it is!

there has been too much brouhaha over different notions of great indian food over the years, with some people really going ott with 'molecules' and nitrogen and other absurd combinations. please, stop! good indian food is about wholesome ingredients, perfectly chosen meats and seafood, cultural secrets, and a chef that can take all this and toss it up into something spectacular. the crossing  (tc) has managed to do just this and a lot more! you first enter a very lovely looking restaurant with some minimalism infused with contemporary style and are greeted by extremely friendly staff who really want you to enjoy your evening out. they are also very clued in on all the food, it's origin, what to pair it with, and how that particular story unfolded. kudos to really explaining everything with zest, passion, and heart! let's get one thing straight - tc is not out there to be another 'find dining but so-boring' restaurant. they are not cluttering tables with 17 glasses per person and more cutlery than a wedding demands. it's all about simplicity and passion here. as soon as you settle in, the first thing you will probably notice (apart from the brilliant music) are the faces of the other patrons pure joy is what you will see. this really gives you a lot of confidence about the food. we ordered a lot of food because everything sounded so good! gunpowder prawns, butter chicken, saag (which i have never ordered before, ever), dal moradabad (fantastic!), mango seafood curry,  keema rice (the simplicity and flavours of this dish were amazing), lamb and chicken grills, and breads. each dish's level of spice and taste/flavour was a 100% on point. there was a little quirkiness in every dish too, which only added to the brilliance of the experience. again, nothing even remotely ott (think in the lines of wearing a gucci suit with some air jordans or yeezys - brilliant, huh??) honestly, i had not enjoyed some of the ingredients being paired together in so many ways as i did at tc. some brilliant research work done on our country's varied gastronomies and many exhaustive hours spent in the kitchen, for sure. overall, highly recommended to everyone who wants a taste of the india that effortlessly mixes the north with the south and the east with the west and then does it all again! i'll be back soon, with a new bunch of people i can take there to showcase what indians do best - serve and surprise.
