beautiful view and lovely ambience for date night! would definitely go back to try the food. cocktails were yummy and service was great and attentive.

such a beautiful place, and what a view. food is amazing but it is quite pricey with very small portion sizes. if you need to impress a date, bring them here.

the butler. great restaurant set up, great vibe and clearly the place to be seen. service pretty good - may have been because we were a large table. the table decided on the banquet menu. there's certainly enough food to go around. did i think it was worth the $55 - well i am not so convinced...

amazing food. the portions were quite small however, when purchasing a large spread of food it comes to a very decent price considering location and quality. the service was a bit mediocre with staff rushing customers a bit and not paying too much attention. #food

this place has one of the most beautiful views of the city at night! it's magic. great atmos, wallpaper, staff and cocktails. onya butler 👌👏

matty and his team took wonderful care of our daughter and her friends at her 18th birthday lunch just before lockdown. they couldn't speak highly enough about the food, the service and the venue.

we are very much looking forward to returning as a family to celebrate the end of a very long hsc year in a few weeks time.

a very unassuming entrance and in for a nice surprise on entering. the open cheerful friendly fun vibes in a decor worthy of description!
the food is tasty & fresh.
we tried the fried chicken tacos, mushroom rice and barramundi.
we will definitely come back to try the lamb !

the butler is a gem! every dish we tried was splendid and the views were fantastic although we went on a cloudy day so there wasn't much to see. i loved the colour scheme and general design of the place and definitley keeping it on my list of places to go back to!

the butler is so well known for its rooftop bar and its cheesy corn, we knew it wouldn’t be a complete girls nice without it. so ordered the soft shell tacos and ceviche to go along with it and was not disappointed.

the kick from the chilli sweet amazing and the charred corn was so great at cutting through the flavours.

the butler is a great place to come with a group of but i can’t imagine what it’d be like with a huge group as it gets quite loud and takes a bit of tine before the food comes out.

some of the best customer service i have ever had in australia. the staff are so attentive and friendly, they were able to seat us on a saturday at the table we wanted without reservations, and were always there to refill our waters and pick up our empty plates. the food came was also exceptional! it came out so fast and was absolutely delicious. we ordered the empanadas and the vegan eggplants and both were incredible. will definitely be back to try some of their seafood dishes and cocktails.

lovely space, magnificent aspect, wonderful staff, forgettable food. the flavours of the south west are so understated as to be suffocated here at the butler, which is a real shame. they were on point with the achiote red rice, but everything else was just bland

from the outside, this place is quite unassuming, but once you step inside, it feels like you are miles away from the hustle and bustle of the potts point/kings cross area. 
the food was solid, the drinks were great, the atmosphere is fun and the views are wonderful.

the garden like decor offers a different dining experience, nice city view . food was delicious! only got chance to take photos of 2 dishes as couldn't wait to finish others. will definitely go back

headed to the butler for lunch and what an amazing experience it was. friendly service without being overbearing. a gorgeous outdoor area with views over sydney, and delicious food makes for a great day. food was so good, the pork carnitas were so tasty as was the cauliflower salad. would definitely go back when next nearby.

what i remember about mezzaluna, the butler’s predecessor, was that it was formal and fancy. it was there for 20 years! the vibe i got from the butler was very different: light, airy and casual, and a beautiful outlook over wooloomooloo and the city. we were there for a friday lunch, and i thought it was pretty much perfect. each dish was delicious. there are influences from latin america and asia.
