if you want a trendyplacewith so so food.. we tried thisplaceon two separate occasions and both times we left disappointed. the food is not worth the money.. and they are extremely frugal with their wine pour and drinks.. we wont be back.

excellent. a friend and i went here before a dbacks game, after going into another neighborhood restaurant and leaving after seeing a dirty rag on one of the dining tables. when i brought it to the attn of a server and asked that he remove it he replied "why"? i would say the name of the restaurant but since we did not dine there i can not comment on the food. again this was not arrogant butcher. so glad we didnt stay there and came to arrogant b. started with the zuchinni fritters..hot fresh and the aioli was a perfect dip. the turkey pastrami on pretzel bread will be in my head until i return for another fix. the pastrami was perfectly salty and lean and the cole slaw on top was crisp, fresh and a perfect topping. the service was excellent and the manager came over to make sure all was going well. i am not a big fox restaurant concepts fan generally speaking, but thisplaceis great. loved the decor also..masculine with plaid touches, hip, open and it felt like i was downtown, which i was.

great restaurant near many entertainment venues!

in town for a team meeting, we were in a room set up for larger groups. great cocktails - the blood orange paloma and the pink drink got high ratings. the appetizers were fabulous! i enjoyed the pretzels and provolone fondue, the smoked carnitas nachos, and crispy shrimp - so much so that the only "dinner" that i had was the wonderful steakhouse chopped salad which was fresh and yummy! my colleagues had the grilled salmon, beef short rib stew, diver scallops, and the crispy chicken breast - and all got rave reviews! a great dinnerplaceto feed many palates!!

we are looking for aplaceto eat downtown and chose this place. the food was very good,but a tad on the expensive side considering we are in downtown phoenix though it may be right for the rent and location. my steak was good really tasty and the smashed potatoes were as well. we enjoyed a bottle of zinfandel while we waited for the x-ambassadors to make their appearance. the server was very good and saw to all our needs as they are supposed to.

unmet expectations. we heard this was theplaceto go several years ago. this trip we were finally able to work it in. we researched the menus online, including drink and happy hour. we sat at the bar. dirty glasses remained until i removed them. despite four fellows working behind the bar, it took quite some time before we were acknowledged. we did not get the menus we had seen online. we ordered an appetizer. the manager explained that it had erred regarding the menus. while the shrimp appetizer was fine, the experience was not what we anticipated. we returned to the sheraton where we were warmly welcomed, sat at a clean table, and had excellent food (braised short ribs) and service.

horrible experience. the girlfriend and i were looking for a fun, newplaceand walked by here. decided to give it a shot. first of all we are seated in a double table for 4 which made the immediate feel awkward for an intimate date. settings where still set for 4. after being dropped off by the hostess, we sat for 15-20 minutes with no greeting from a server whatsoever. after sitting awkwardly for 20 minutes watching servers walk by we decided to leave as we couldn't even have the courtesy of a glass of water (it's arizona... really?) i strongly discourage people from going here, i later heard the food is over priced and not that great anyway.

thisplaceis worth the visit. we absolutely loved the food, it was incredible. the filet here is by far the best i have ever had. for appetizers we got the pretzel bites and provolone fondue, what a great taste! i did have cocktails.and did not care for the after school special, not my style of drink. i then tried the pink drink and felt like it was too sweet. i will definitely go back, i'll stick with wine though.

mayor pro tem. while attending the national league of cities convention we had the privilege of eating 2 meals a day for 3 days and the staff, food was excellent!! wanted to take them back to north myrtle beach sc. a mustplaceto eat in phoenix az.
we tried just about everything they had and it was awesome!!

ate here after the baseball and the food was great, cheeseburger was delicious my husband had turkey sloppy joe. definitely recommend thisplacehas great atmosphere.

where's the beef?. with a name like the arrogant butcher, you would expect a quanity of beef or other meats on the menu. not so! the menu is heavy on seafood and other non-meat dishes. theplaceshould be called the arrogant fisherman!
all of the food was arrogantly highly over priced.
fish & chips $17.00??? the from the freezer fish was mushy, the fries average and the thimblefull of coleslaw was just ok. arthur treacher's has them beat by a mile for much less. the wife's burger, ($9.00) was ok and the made from scratch potato chips were soggy.
$5.50 for a bud light??? i think notorously high priced chase field across the street sells it for less. theplaceis noisy & loud and the ceiling full of ductwork and wiring is just beautiful! won't be going back. too many other good options downtown.

pretty good lunch. thisplaceis actually pretty good. while the menu is a little non-standard the food is very good.
they seemed to have borrowed some of the menu items from other restaurants, like the pretzel fondue...
my crab cake louie salad was just the right size, just the right price and just the right taste.
it was nice that the manager went out of his way to thank us for coming in... that's a lost etiquette in some quarters.
i'll be back...
