if you want a trendy place with so so food.. we tried this place on two separate occasions and both times we left disappointed. thefoodis not worth the money.. and they are extremely frugal with their wine pour and drinks.. we wont be back.

kinda overpriced and generally way too packed for a restaurant.foodis good though and they have an interesting set up might try again next time i'm at a game.

thefoodis absolutely amazing!  this has been somewhere that i have been wanting to try for a while. finally had the chance with a group of friends but a bit pricey for what it is.  i would go again and try something new.

great atmosphere this is classy but casual. you can wear jeans or dress up if a special occasion. thefoodis fantastic. they specialize in seafood and steak. i am a sucker for filet tenderloins so that is what i ordered. asked for medium rare but it was served closer to medium with just a little pink. it was seasoned perfectly and came with a side of crispy potatoes which are small potatoes that are flash fried and removed. they had a crispy skin but the inside was like baked potato with moist and flavorful center. wine selection was above average but not over the top. many wines were only available in full bottles which doesn't help if you are not sharing a bottle. selection of by-the-glass wines were quality and not regular supermarket selection. i would come back next time in phoenix.

we are looking for a place to eat downtown and chose this place. thefoodwas very good,but a tad on the expensive side considering we are in downtown phoenix though it may be right for the rent and location. my steak was good really tasty and the smashed potatoes were as well. we enjoyed a bottle of zinfandel while we waited for the x-ambassadors to make their appearance. the server was very good and saw to all our needs as they are supposed to.

unmet expectations. we heard this was the place to go several years ago. this trip we were finally able to work it in. we researched the menus online, including drink and happy hour. we sat at the bar. dirty glasses remained until i removed them. despite four fellows working behind the bar, it took quite some time before we were acknowledged. we did not get the menus we had seen online. we ordered an appetizer. the manager explained that it had erred regarding the menus. while the shrimp appetizer was fine, the experience was not what we anticipated. we returned to the sheraton where we were warmly welcomed, sat at a clean table, and had excellentfood(braised short ribs) and service.

greatfoodand service!. it was the first time for my family and i at the arrogant butcher. what a great time! thefoodwas great. it came to us as we were told it would, just perfect. our server wesley was the greatest person to talk to. he went over all the specials and answered all our questions about the menu. we never had to look for him for anything we wanted, he was always there asking us if we needed anything. with greatfoodand service like we got from wesley, we will be returning to the arrogant butcher again and again!

game night. high energy, limited but imaginative menu. second time, first was at the bar. the bar was packed and slower service, even with 3 bartenders, than the restaurant.foodranged from good to great burger and the service was excellent and very upbeat even on game night with party of seven.

horrible experience. the girlfriend and i were looking for a fun, new place and walked by here. decided to give it a shot. first of all we are seated in a double table for 4 which made the immediate feel awkward for an intimate date. settings where still set for 4. after being dropped off by the hostess, we sat for 15-20 minutes with no greeting from a server whatsoever. after sitting awkwardly for 20 minutes watching servers walk by we decided to leave as we couldn't even have the courtesy of a glass of water (it's arizona... really?) i strongly discourage people from going here, i later heard thefoodis over priced and not that great anyway.

amazingfoodand great atmosphere. my husband and i went in to try theirfoodsince we always walk by there. the service was great and very friendly! ourfoodwas amazing and i love the ambiance! all these reviews about being expensive or badfoodis hogwash! we had the pretzels with provolone fondue, i had the chinese chicken salad with almonds (yum), my husband had this huge burger-sandwich with bacon that looked amazing and we both shared the salted caramel pudding!!! i had the best raspberry lemonade ever!!! will go back for sure!! oh and our meal didn't go over $50 plus they validated our parking!!!

mayor pro tem. while attending the national league of cities convention we had the privilege of eating 2 meals a day for 3 days and the staff,foodwas excellent!! wanted to take them back to north myrtle beach sc. a must place to eat in phoenix az.
we tried just about everything they had and it was awesome!!

i really wanted to like this place. service was great and i enjoyed the ambiance. overall thefoodwas a swing and a miss. i would say its worth one more try. maybe i ordered the wrong thing.

arrogant is correct. we were sat outside on a 55 degree evening even though there was plenty of indoor seating and we had a reservation for 9. we were assured outdoor seating was very comfortable however the heater above our table was connected but according to the manager was not functioning properly.foodwas ok but very overpriced, nothing exciting. we will definitely not be returning here and will ensure our friends and family do not as well.

well after waiting for 25 minutes for a waiter outfoodonly took 10 mins to arrive at the table and there was a reason it came so quickly .... it was nothing special! first off we ordered a bottle of white wine, the waiter brought us te bottle but no chill bucket ... we had to ask for it. thefoodwas average at best. should i ever return to phoenix, i would not return to this place! went to sam's cafe last night and that was awesome .... for the spend, way better .... go there!

well we have sat here for 20 minutes this far and still no waiter has approached our table! just asked the hostess if we even have one! will have to wait to see if thefoodwas worth the poor, poor service!
