we are looking for a place to eatdowntownand chose this place. the food was very good,but a tad on the expensive side considering we are indowntownphoenix though it may be right for the rent and location. my steak was good really tasty and the smashed potatoes were as well. we enjoyed a bottle of zinfandel while we waited for the x-ambassadors to make their appearance. the server was very good and saw to all our needs as they are supposed to.

similar vibe of fox concept restaurants. crab stuffed chicken was unfortunately fried, salted carmel pudding was better than average. cute staff with a good energy with better than average food...fordowntownphoenix.

excellent!. came to the arrogant butcher for arizona restaurant week 2011. had a very difficult time finding the place. so much construction and traffic indowntownphoenix.

very cute ambiance. friendly server and manager who kept checking up on us.

food was divine! ordered the tabbouleh salad, smoked salmon rillette, jambalaya, grilled swordfish, sweet potato tortelli, salted caramel sundae and blueberry cheesecake. everything was delicious. our whole table couldn't stop raving about each dish.

i don't know where all these bad reviews are coming from? i had an amazing time and enjoyed every minute.

arrogant pricing. been here twice for lunch and the food is really good, the atmosphere is nice, the service is ok could be better but they just opened so i cut them some slack. the portions are very small and it very expensive for adowntowneatery. they are going to have a tough time competing for the lunch business when there are other places around with lower price points and great special like half off lunch entrees. its going to be interesting to see how long they can last in adowntownwell known to be an undesirable dining destination, unless there is a game or something going on.

best salads downtown. i had a $50 gift card to the frc, so my coworker and i headed over for lunch two weeks after the opening. the restaurant was packed, but there was room at the bar, so we sat down immediately. we each ordered the salmon & kale salad, and a beer (yay!). i'm not normally a salad person, but this was amazing. the salmon was tender, the dressing was amazing, and the almonds and currents really set this thing apart. i went back just yesterday and ordered the grilled chicken taboulah (sp?) salad, which was also amazing. the service was great, our drinks never got too low, and the ambiance is perfect for adowntownbusiness lunch. i can't wait to go back and explore more of the menu.
