texas roadhouse

my partner had the porterhouse t-bone and he looked blissful with every bite. he hardly said anything as he was just enjoyed his food. he made it clear that it was delicious. he finished about 3/4 of the steak, but didn't even touch the potato (it and the leftover steak made him a great lunch the next day).
i had the bbq chicken, which was good, just not blissful like his steak was. it was small and thin, a tiny bit overcooked... i can overlook that though knowing how much my partner enjoyed his meal. we'll be back, for sure.

this is my favorite restaurant. best place to go for the money if you're wanting steak! always friendly workers too. i've never had a bad experience. 🙂

i made the 58 mile drive to texas steakhouse to treat my kids moving to spokane. we received friendly service and the orders came promptly. my son in law ordered the same steak as i but one cook level less. to my surprise and dismay the steak i received was 2/3 smaller displaying in height and girth. the waitress apologized and said it was due to being cooked more! sorry dear but meat does not shrink by 2/3 unless it is a comparison between very well done and rare....period. she offered nothing else. soon after a manager arrived at our table and i offered the same concern. the difference in the cuts of meat were obvious but instead of admitting a mistake he continued on a mindless diatribe about meat shrinkage and because i wanted a more cooked cut of meat i was started out with a smaller piece of steak so it would cook according to my desire. what??! so i commented that i was indeed given a smaller piece of meat and charged for a larger cut of meat. the manager boy realized he trapped himself and immediately flushed up as red as a rare steak. he offered nothing in conversation beyond that point and simply stood dumbfounded with his hands clasped in front of him. i dismissed him, he turned abruptly bolting to safe haven. i boxed my food as it tasted not like a top sirloin but a cheap thin cut of possibly porterhouse meat which has a distinct flavor. my dogs loved it. i'll never return. be sure you are presented with what you order. i'm certain this is a routine practice at texas steakhouse. shame on you. it's all about money ....isn't it?

texas roadhouse is a welcoming, cozy, and friendly environment. everytime i eat here, the food is always deliciously spectacular. i cant wait to go back!!

went a few times with wife. way to loud. do the people who work there realize how their damaging their ears. yes it's that serious. we are older so you don't put us at high chairs that's is by the time we catch up with the gal seating us. and now to the food. over done doesn't say it all. not tasty by any means. please save you money and go to willie's in post falls. it's authentic,super tasty,and a pleasant friendly place to go.

good steak, fairly fast upon seating, great value, very friendly people. music can be loud, but people come here to celebrate so live with it, right? actually it's a good place to celebrate, but i like it so much i am a regular, i do share it with visitors and mention it when asked about a good place to eat. i rate them in my top 5, oh and servers dance and sing often, reserve for over 5 at least 4hrs out. i love it.

we had the chicken fried steak. the steak could have been a piece of tile off the floor covered with gravy. so tough did not eat it all. will not be back for the chicken fry but may try something else. like to give a restaurant a couple tries before writing it off.

i always enjoy going to any taxes roadhouse but when i went to the one in ft myers fl while i was visiting i was not happy i ordered the pull pork dinner and when i got it it was all hard and dried out i sent it back which was fine but i wasn't happy that the people in my group where more the halfway done before i got my meal

best steak ever. every single time. all of their food is amazing though. great service. rattlesnake bites are awesome. make sure and call ahead for seating.

almost always a great steak. last time there, the steak was a little chewy and i notified the waiter who offered a fresh steak. i had tried my best to eat what was initially given to me so i declined the fresh steak. i was not charged for the original steak which is always a classy touch. other than that one experience i have never had a bad visit. strips, rib-eyes, sirloin, all top notch. this is my dad's favorite place to eat and i wanted to have the family there to celebrate his 80th birthday. twelve people. can't call ahead or reserve a table, need to be there 1 1/2 hours ahead.

fun, loud environment.  however, the food is average.  the ribs are often dry because they were cooked so long ago, and the chicken breasts seem to be frozen.  the steaks are decent for the price.  you will always leave full because the rolls are delicious and you get peanuts.   the service is hit or miss.  all of the service staff are not older than 25 or so and sometimes you get a gal who is sharp and sometimes you get someone who is horrible.

my wife and i came because we received a gift card from here for a christmas present. i can tell you now that it was a very good present. we came for lunch and found that they have 11 different items on the menu for $8.99. it is called their early dine menu. you get the entree and a choice of 2 sides. it is a very good deal offered monday thru thursday before 6 and saturday before 3. i had the 6 oz. sirloin with a baked potato and a cup of chili. i started out with an order of the killer ribs appetizer. it had 3 large sauced ribs on top of some steak fries. the sauce was mild and delicious. the ribs were very meaty and tasty. the steak fries were a little bit under done for my taste. my 6 oz. sirloin steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and was very tender, juicy and flavorful. the baked potato was one of the better ones that i have ever had. my cup of chili was slightly spicy and had a very good slightly tangy flavor. i really liked it. my wife ordered the country fried chicken and the baked sweet potato. she liked her chicken fried chicken but wished the it was not so thin. she loved the crunchy coating and the cream gravey that came on the side. she said the highlight of her order was the baked sweet potato. she said it was like eating a dessert. we finished our meal with an order of the granny's apple classic. it is a large piece of very good apple pie with vanilla ice cream and a side of honey, cinnamon, caramel sauce. it was the perfect end to our meal. we both agreed that we will be coming back soon.

this is the place to come for a great american texan experience.
shelled peanuts welcome you.
staff were friendly, maybe a bit too much to an extent where our convesation was interrupted several times but thats not a big deal.
portions were generous and the steaks are aged and made to perfection.
sides are generous as well.
ambience is fun as the staff keep making a dance performance to enhance the experience.
would recommend.

what's not to love about texas roadhouse? great food at reasonable prices! the steaks are full of flavor and there are tons of other options for those who don't want steak. the cheesecake is delicious for dessert. what stands out is the great atmosphere. managers and servers talk with you and show genuine concern for your meal. it's a lot of fun - give this location a try!

pleasantly surprised, the service was great, good prices for the quantity of food. it's a fun place to go with some friends and have a fews drinks.
