brutal service. i will never step foot in this restaurant chain again. i've been several times, and am absolutely fed up with the customer service. servers are consistently rude and not even helpful with menu items. this place is not fine dining and there is no world-renown chef in the kitchen, so some one please explain to me why they can't modify a single thing on their menu. i love carpaccio with balsamic... when i asked for balsamic vinegar, i was actually denied.

i threatened to go into the kitchen myself and ask for it. the server thought i was kidding...

needless to say, the food just isn't good enough to allow such pretentious attitude. this restaurant needs to pay better attention to detail if it wants customers like me.

i was excited to try a new restaurant downtown that a friend was dying to take us too but unfortunately have never been more disappointed by italian food. blaring music and strong air conditioning made our seating area impersonal and our waitress seemed distracted. we had a mix of starters that were all dull and flavourless, most of our group ordered pizzas for mains and seemed happy, but our two vegetarian diners picked at their lack lustre pasta and my recommended grilled calamari (served room temperature btw) was rubbery and the pile of diced tomatoes and greens it sat on was yet again flavourless. a few ordered desserts and coffees, dubbing the tiramisu as "the best ever" - i beg to differ as it too was dull and lacked flavour, and to add to the irritation of the night they add a compulsory 18% tip to your bill! not deserved or warranted given the average fare we were served. save yourself the time, and certainly the money, and cook yourself some good italian food at home that actually tastes like something! terribly disappointed terroni.

we were in a hurry before the symphony - we all had pastas - the lamb and duck ravioli weed both excellent i had the beef pasta which wasn't as good and many appeared to enjoy their pizzas. dessert the chocolate panache was delicious for sharing. definitely would eat there again.

great food, and nicer atmosphere than queen. came here once or my friend's birthday. the food here is great, and the same as queen st. i ordered my usual pizza al salmon. i like the atmosphere here. it is less crowded and less casual attire. great for special events. if you've never been to terroni before, i suggest going to the queen st. one first to get the true "terroni experience".

great food, great atmosphere. i went on a wednesday evening with a friend, and was given a two-seater with empty tables to either side. the server was friendly and the building itself is beautiful, very open and airy while still feeling comforting. the drinks are overpriced, but the food is worth it. i had the squash & duck confit ravioli and it was amazing, soft but dense in the middle, very good textures. even better was the dessert - we shared the flourless chocolate cake and lemon cheesecake. the chocolate cake was delicate and the filling was warm and not too sweet. the cheesecake was light, sweet and fruity, and was without a doubt the best cheesecake i've ever had. highly recommended to anyone with a little cash to spend.

calamari: very tender and lightly fried. can't go wrong. pizza cosi: tomato, fresh porcini mushrooms, mozzarella, fontina & prosciutto di parma. love it! this is the ultimate pizza if you love prosciutto and porcini mushrooms. utterly savoury and completely delicious. the porcini mushrooms were an explosion of flavour and had great texture; hard to see in the photo but there are chunks of mushroom underneath the proscuitto. i love the layers of salty, fatty, melt in your mouth prosciutto draped around the entire pizza. a great f

terroni has lost its soul. 20 minute wait at the bar when there were tables available, servers with attitude, tables for 2 were jammed together. disappointed.

we ordered my favorite cake and also tried the special, the chocolate tart with grand marnier. yes we are addicted to sweets. although it's a restaurant with plenty of food options on the menu we were there primarily for the cake.
