will not return. food is ok. the most unfortunate thing about this restaurant is the service - horrible, unfriendly. and by the look of other reviews on here, there seems to be many who feel the same. i'm surprised management has not tried to rectify this issue. this place is nothing special and the staff really should drop their attitude.
otherwise - good choice of pizzas and the pasta is ok. poor choice of appetizers.

ok for a one time visit. food was ok. nothing special at all. kitchen not flexibel in substitutions. categorically will not serve parmesan cheese on certain pastas. i could not identify the sword fish in my pasta. salad calabrese was very good. great wines. but would not come here s 2nd time. not worth the money, waaaay to expensive... we were a party of 6 and paid over 650$...

of course did not tip. they let people wait for tables when tables are actually available to create a line-up outside when i pointed to the table the waitress walking by said "it's not ready" and kept walking. really? looked ready to me and if it is not then make it ready. anyway, the food was average but after this bad service start and the slow service (it's just two pizzas for two, guys not gourmet french) i decided to tip zero. none, zip, nothing. tip is for service not for attitude, slowness and telling customers where it's at. to the management: we are the couple that left zero tip. you want tips? be polite and serve the customer not yourselves. will not return of course.

we went to the adelaide location as it was bigger and less packed. even though the space was bigger, their tables are very packed together with little space in between to walk. they put us into a table that is right in the middle of the traffic path, not sure why they wouldn't put us in the inside aisle. there was a lot of selection of pizza and pasta. i was debating between the two and finally decided to go for a pizza. al salmone - white pizza with in house smoke salmon, italian cream, mozzarella, capers, red onions, fresh tomato. the crust was very thin and crisp. the smoke salmon was salty with the more mellow mozzarella. very good pizza!

as a main my son had the sliced tenderloin in sauce with rapini and roast potatoes, while i had spaghetti al limone with spinach, capers, shaved parmigiano reggiano, lemon, and extra virgin olive oil. the tenderloin was tender and the sauce was delicious. the spaghetti was absolutely divine.

great food bad service.. the food is phenomenal at all terroni locations, especially the pastas. however, waitresses have a huge attitude especially at adelaide location. i have worked as a server and could not believe how unfriendly, unhelpful, and passive aggressive several of the female servers are. i have never seen it so consistently at a restaurant in toronto. i probably won't go back to that location because of the service. please hire people who are friendly. that is all!

dep't of no - not terroni. 6 of us dined here last night. could not believe how pretentious and rediculous this place is. i would never re-visit or refer this restaurant. call it department of no - not terroni's. here's my list:
1. i asked to sample a $55.00 bottle of wine b4 ordering and was told ' no we don't do that' 2. i asked for some balsamic vinegar for my oil and bread and was told - no - we don't offer that 3. a 12 year old was with us and she was really looking forward to a shirley temple and we were told - no - we don't offer those 4. we requested a separate bill for one couple and we were told - no - we don't really do that. as we absolutely insisted, we them to bend the rule on that one - but honestly - who's runningt the show here ? without me as a customer - you have no business, no job, no money. i would have left at the first hello after struggling to read the italian menu - but we were under time restraint to catch a concert so we stayed. not like i'm not a cosmopolitan diner - i've managed menu's in rome italy easier than theirs. final blow was a huge tab - for a less than mediocre dining experience. signed - disgruntled customer who really does not like to be told no!!!! no more $ from me is my message to you terroni's.

subpar italian. the food here comes out so dizzingly fast, you know everything is premade. calamari chewy, pasta unremarkable, and even their tiramisu tastes mass-produced. combine the poor food quality with their "we don't do mods" attitude, and it's really not an overwhelmingly positive experience. way better choices in toronto.

over priced crap. part of a party of 12 on eveningof wed june 6, private room for a special occasion. waiter friendly & attentive. waiter placed our order on computer system for all diners. three of us ordered the same entre, red snapper calimari & shrimp. kitchen only cooked two. when they found that they were a plate short, i was short man out. only a "sorry" offered as consolation. i could not hold up 11 people from eating, so they went ahead. kitchen must have attempted to make up for their error by turning up the heat. snapper was ok, but calimari & shrimp were cremated....never send anything back 'cause you don't know what they do to it.
a rookie culinary school student knows that calimari is cooked either quickly or long & slow, & shrimp should never be treated the way this kitchen does it.
wine over priced.meal was crap & it took them three tries to process a payment by debit card...why would i go back?

terrible service. this is the only restaurant that i have actually cancelled my order and left. the server's and manager's attitude was appalling. i will never go back. first, their non-alcoholic drink menu is limited. when asked for a cranberry and soda, the aserver scoffed and said they don't have any juices. we ordered an appetizer with our meal. when it arrived it was bland and unimpressive. we asked the server to bring a side dish of some pasta sauce to help give it a little flavour. i offered to pay for it seperately. i just wanted a little bit of sauce. yes, pasta or marinara sauce in italian restaurant -- this should not be a difficult request to accomodate. (you take a small dish, pour in a little sauce and bring it to the table). we were told "no", "we don't serve it that way". we were actually refused a simple request becasue they thought we should eat it the way they wanted us to eat it -- bland and tasteless, not how we wanted it. the manager comes over and is likewise prententious and arrogant. never have i seen such a shockingly arrogant approach to operating a restaurant. the food was mediocre and the service was terrible.

service. i have to be frank here - the service at this place was so disastrous and unfortunate that it was funny. my friends and i - in order to make light of the situation - simply spent the night making fun of the staff who were so incredibly and unncessarily rude and unhelpful. it was like being part of some kind of candid camera - we couldn't actually believe it was real. when we left our tip, um zero%, the waitress followed us out of the restaurant and requested her 15%. our response, 'heres a tip. you get tipped for service. your service sucked. therefore, we actually gave you 100% tip and 100 times zero is, well.......'
absolutely dispicable.
