tequila's town mexican restaurant

authentic mexican and a foodie hangout. the mexicanfoodat tequila's is excellent as is the service, but assume a small wait when you go because it gets crowded especially with patrons who wait at the bar. each time we've been, the crowd has been an array of '20-50 something foodies', people who appreciate really goodfoodeven if it's coupled with a little jostling, and a lot of noise.

this place was not as impressive as i had though it would be. the drinks were great but the 45 minute wait was not really worth it! the dining area was loud and overcrowded. thefoodwas underwhelming and overall, not noteworthy.

loved their salsa! the place was so cute and right off broughton. all myfoodwas great. nice place to relax and eat and get back to shopping.

tequila's town mexican restaurant is definitely the best mexicanfoodin town. the service is good and thefoodarrives fast every time. most of the time it's extremely loud and a lot going on. they also make guacamole table side.

best in savannah. hands down best mexican in savannah - the guacamole is a can't miss and the mole sauce is amazing. great service - adorable location inside - only downside is parking, but that's savannah. thefoodis so good! do yourself a favor and don't miss this one.

wow. ok being from texas i was more than concerned when my sister said she wanted mexicanfoodfor dinner. i thought she'll be disappointed bc its not what she is used to. well we picked this place for no particular reason and boy i'm glad we did! guacamole is excellent, beef fajitas excellent! when we told our waitress we were from texas, she explained that her family was also opening a place in texas. i think they will do just fine there!

you should be eating here. when we arrived there was a 20 min wait, we grabbed drinks at the bar and once seated promptly had complimentary chips and salsa and a server. we ordered the table side made guacamole (best i've ever had) and our entrees and more drinks. drinks were promptly brought out and thefoodshould up within the next 10 minutes! they were pretty busy but the staff was moving very quickly and efficiently and still being very courteous to all the customers. this was easily some of the best mexicanfood(and drinks) i've ever had. you're wasting your time reading this when you should be eating there right now instead.

great food. i wanted to take a friend for her birthday to a good authentic mexican restaurant. i used urban spoon and found tequila's town mexican restaurant. thefoodwas great an authentic. we had the table side guacamole. the server was nice and was very informative on making hisfoodbut also the menu. the waiter was nice friendly, informative, and not pushy. thefoodwas so good we all had a hard time stopping. the price is good and you get plenty of food. the waiter made this birthday dinner just wonderful. he made sure to wish her a happy birthday and served her flan on the house. i am also happy that the staff had a good understanding of allergies as i am allergic to chicken. the staff was very careful not to serve me any chicken or anyfoodthat was cooked by the chicken.

wow, wish there was a "love it" option. staff is friendly, attentive and inviting. my husband and i have gone several times now and it never disappoints. we make it a point to try something new every time. thefoodis always fresh and flavorful. the table side guacamole is delicious and spot on! tried the sopa azteca, tamales, torta, chile colorado, chile verde...and much more. all of them have been amazing. the owners are great! they are always there making sure everything is operating smoothly and helping out. it's great to see that kind of devotion and leadership and not someone who stands on the side lines. the name tequila town may scare some but it intrigued me, and the selection is impressive. and the staff is very knowledgeable on them all. i never knew there were so many variations of tequila until sampling a few. overall great atmosphere, people,foodand drinks. would i recommend it to friends... already have, all the time! :-)

weve been there three times now because thefoodis so good. only mexican place in savannah that gives everyone at the table their own salsa (like a real mexican place should). i've had three different meals there all were great... my favorite was "coctel de cameron", the flavors were amazing. reasonably priced, highly recommended.

best in savannah!. i had the pleasure of having dinner here last night. it is, hands down, the best mexicanfoodin savannah! we were seated quickly and promptly brought endless chips and salsa. our server was very nice, the margaritas are delicious and come with a good kick! our dinners came out in a normal amount of time (we arrived at about 5pm on a saturday with a party of 5). we did not order it, but the table side guacamole we saw made a few times looks delicious, we will have to try it next time, along with trying to save room for dessert! we will definitely be back!
