i'm still craving that chicken korma! and the service was great, too!. i read the reviews for this place before i went, and i was a little worried about lousy service. however, when i went with my best friend and my boyfriend, the service was excellent, even though the place was pretty packed. our servers were very attentive and quick!
now, the food. one caveat: i've only had indian food twice before, so, i'm no expert. my friend order the curry and the raita. she liked the curry, but the raita was definitely not to our taste (i tried it too). but if you like really tangy soupy dishes with funky textures it might be up your alley. if not, play it safe and avoid this.
my boyfriend ordered the lamb curry (with medium heat, since this was his first experience with indian food). he didn't care much for the curry aspect and the spiciness (he should have ordered mild), but i tried it, and i loved it. i'll be having it for dinner tonight since he said it was too hot for him.
and finally! the chicken korma (medium heat). iate it last night and got stuffed before i finished. i woke up this morning craving it. after i ate it for lunch, i'm still wanting more! this stuff is amazing! my tablemates tried it and also agreed that it was the best dish at the table. i highly recommend this dish!
also, the garlic naan we ordered was like icing on the cake!
