pire service que j'ai eu de ma vie!
déjà à l'entrée, lorsque la serveuse a vu que nous n'avions pas de réservation elle a commencé à être désagréable. puis elle nous a dit d'aller s'assoir au bar face à la cuisine, qui soit dit en passant est la pire vu que l'on peut avoir lorsqu'on veut manger, sans toutefois nous y emmener. puis apres 15 à 20 minutes d'attente, nous n'avions toujours pas de menu, et pourtant les employés étaient entrain de placoter juste à côté de nous avec notre serveuse. bref si vous avez envie de vous faire regarder de haut et de vous faire servir par un personnel désagréable, le su wu est l'endroit qu'il vous faut.

je suis allée chez suwu pour le brunch, et j'ai apprécié! l'accueil a été très bien et le local est vraiment beau, quel décor! côté bouffe, c'est simple, mais efficace! j'ai goûté au grilled-cheese au mac&cheese (avec oeuf, sans bacon) et mon copain a essayé le sandwich déjeuner. puis, pour accompagner, j'ai bu un café glacé amarula...

cool, trendy and delicious. with so many menu and drink options it can be overwhelming, but you can't make a bad decision here. there is always good tunes playing and plenty of people hanging out, not a spot to miss!

belle découverte!. lors de ma visite le restaurant était rempli à craquer, malgré tout, le service est resté impeccable du début à la fin. amical et professionnel. la nourriture était délicieuse (guédilles aux crevettes & risotto) le tout en portion plus que raisonnable pour le prix (et l'emplacement du resto). une belle adresse!

cozy spot on saint-laurent. the staff are friendly and the ambiance is nice. the food is regular comfort food nothing very special. the drinks though are very good... first spot in montreal that serves an authentic gin basil cocktail! i would recommend suwu for friends’ gatherings

the decor of this place is really hipsters and very relax. there are plants everywhere close to the windows and makes you feel homie. the service is very friendly and the staff is also very helpful. the bar food menu is good but a little pricey for what they are serving. i am rating the place as a restaurant perspective. i have also been to this place at night on the weekend and i the vibe was very good. the beer and cocktails menu are very reasonable.

i've been to suwu dozens of times but just tried their brunch today. the atmosphere is awesome as always and the staff is very friendly. some brunch menu options include smoothie bowls, avocado toast with eggs, french toast with butterscotch, classic eggs and bacon etc. i had the chicken and waffles which was really yummy. the chicken was a bit salty but with the sweetness of the waffle and maple syrup it had a great balance of flavours. i would recommend suwu for everything from brunch to dinner to partying.

after dropping a significant amount of money (multiple drinks, a tray of shots for our group and surrounding people, generous tips etc), a small unattractive 19 year old child who works at this establishment (who was off duty and drinking with friends), shoved a member of my party with all her strength to pass. he was irritated because it caused him to spill his drink and held his ground which in the end ended up moving her out of the way. she proceeded to shove him even harder, and then got one of the barmen to get the doorman and kick out group of 5 out of the bar while she laughed with her equally unattractive and immature friends. the barman who was serving us apologized (we'd been generous with him, and are a well off group in our late 20s early 30s). the barman who was in cahoots with this woman-child made an incredibly sexist statement to my friend by saying that she is a woman and is allowed to shove him, and also that she works here so she can do what she wants. this is unacceptable. i have been to this place multiple times, and have always enjoyed my evening, as well as spent a lot on drinks. she should not continue to work with the public if she is using her "status" as a bar waitress to be rude and obnoxious. the owner of this bar should realize that having such an employee is detrimental to their establishment and she shouldn't be allowed to interact with the public. having worked in the public sector for many years, her attitude is not one i would accept as an owner or manager. hopefully she will soon be out of a job, however if she isn't, she can continue her "career" cleaning up after bar patrons who have real jobs.

d&g had an unfortunate experience there. as we entered, no one came to greet us. we had to go to the bar to notify our presence. once we seated, we were left with the menus for a good 10-15min without waiter coming by. once the waitress came, she hold us what were not available on the menus. it was basically half of what they mentioned on the menus... d&g felt desperate and walked out of the restaurant...

unique food suitable for a night out with friends as suwu is also an excellent little bar. the salads were quite delicious with a good lemon based dressing. i had the macaroni and cheese grilled sandwich because...why not?! to my surprise it was quite tasty, and the sauce added an extra kick to it. a different type of place to grab a bite to eat, i recommend it.

absolutely love this vibe. comfort food & amazing drinks are to be expected. service is also splendid. hip hop playlist to accommodate your ears! you have to try their famous grilled cheese mac & cheese and their wu-tang cocktail!

hmmm. i loved the ambiance and vibe, plus the waitress was very nice, but the food was very disappointing. i had the fattouche salad and falafels. not the greatest. my friends felt the same about their food as well, the lobster roll was mediocre and over-priced. would go back for hanging out and drinks, not food!

suwu definitely has a cool vibe on a saturday night. we didn't appreciate that the menu online wasn't updated so nothing we were expecting was available. food was comforting but bland and overpriced. ramen-crusted chicken tenders and mac&cheese grilled cheese were good.

been there a few times for brunch. good place and lively, your brunch can turn into a party in no time. fun food and drinks selection. one of the few spots left on st-laurent.

good but not worth the prices. this place is very nice and has a cool atmosphere - but it's expensive. the prices would be reasonable but the portion sizes are so small! i ordered the avocado toast today and it says 4 pieces of toast with avocado, eggs, and bacon. it was two slices of toast cut into four, there was avocado, half of a hard egg (not the eggs i was expecting!), and one bite of bacon. not worth $14.
