sushi village

so i used to always come here before i started going to ten sushi in gloucester. the quality here has definetely decreased and my rating has decreased. the service is still good but the food isn’t as good as before. additionally the variety they have for some of the sashimi is limited as compared to others.

suishi shit village more like it. suishi rolls had stail rice, nasty smelling raw fish and bad attitude from staff and owner. the owner was told about the disgusting rolls that were placed on our table and his response was condescending and ultimately walked away, no apologies, he did not even remove the smelly fish in front of us! when we came to pay, he actually said to us, "you ordered too much, you should take the leftovers to go!" if anyone out there has experienced rude stingy behaviour from this suishi shiit village, please post....i'm positive i'm not the only one that has experience this owners' bad behaviour!

decent food with amazing customer service. i have been going to sushi village for 1+ years, and i am very pleased with their service and the food they offer. the ambiance is very relaxed, therefore my friends and i go there and could easily spend hours eating and chitchatting!! i go there quite often and i am always pleased !! gideon and may are my favorite :)

great menu... excellent service... loved the eggplant teriaki dish.

we have company over for dinner and i ordered several items for the evening. the sushi were very good however all fried tempura were cold and not very good. my guest and i were not impressed with the quality of the tempura food.

great service! we were served by many people, all of them very polite, helpful and efficient. the quality of the food was good. the fish was fresh and the sushi tightly rolled. the only complaint i had was the mango salad was mostly onions and peppers, and i would recommend avoiding that particular dish. it still gets 5 stars for the quality of everything else and the excellent service. good value for your money (charge of 6$ for leftovers - go on an empty stomach!! you’ll want to try as everything). even though the restaurant was getting busy, the staff made sure we did not feel rushed and were very accommodating for allergies.

recently after being a customer for years, i had an experience which will prevent me from ever returning. we arrived at 9:30 and they close at 10:30, we were made aware of the time when seated which was fine. we put everything we wanted on one sheet to save them time and only 1/2 the order came out (presentation was horrible) when we were told it was "last call" i reminded her that we were still waiting on items, she told us to reorder so we did. the hand rolls came out loosely rolled, when picked up most of the stuffing fell on the table, and the ones with tampura were cold and greasy. there were still two other tables, but staff was rushing around cleaning and hovering around clearing things as soon as we lifted the item off the dish practically- so we felt rushed and unwanted so we decided to just eat what was edible, pay and go. the manager became very rude when clearing the table saying we were wasting food in regards to the hand roll that fell on the table and a 3/4 ate sloppy over stuffed with rice hand roll. when we went to pay he went into this big demeaning lecture about not charging us this time but refusing to stamp our loyalty card. i explained to him what had happened with our order, and the sub par hand rolls and he became very argumentative. in the end i paid the base price only and just left the loyalty card that he finally stamped on the counter and told him to forget it i would never be back. the restaurant quality has declined over the years in general and the staff have in recent visits been abrupt, forgetful, and sloppy. ottawa has much better sushi restaurants! skip this one!

it was very good and the service was courteous and fast. the place was clean. you can choose all you can eat or à la carte. highly recommended.

all you can eat! very fresh food. quick service. lots of different sushis to choose from and other small plates. place looks nice and clean. i recommend this place :)

this was my second time going. sushi was good, the crab meat and salmon were fresh. the atmosphere was nice and the service was quick and efficient. no pressure to eat quickly and i don't have anything negative to say. finished off with a scoop of mango and another of red bean ice cream. would definitely go back.

easily the worst sushi i've ever had, there are way better options in orleans. you can get way better quality for the save price in orleans.

went to this location on valentine's day. although it was busy, i would still expect good service and efficient ordering. we waiting 20 minutes with no food, then we were given 3 rolls... after another 40 minutes we asked were the rest was and we were told that they figured we ordered too much so it wasn't ordered. not what i expected when paying 50 dollars. we just said forget it and left. i was still charges full price. i am very disappointed and will let others know.

love this place and have tried many many sushi joints. service is always fast and friendly, quality i would say is average to above average and that saporo is always ice cold. nice decor too! bathroom could use a scrubbing tho...all in all this place is a must and i would recommend!

it doesn't look like much on the outside, but the interior is quite spacious and they have a decent selection of ayce sushi, although there are other places in the city with a broader selection. nonetheless, the sushi is very good and the food comes quickly. the manager is super friendly and provides service with a smile.

this is my favourite sushi restaurant in the whole city! it's big, service is fast, you can always find a booth and the sushi is delicious. everything is so fresh, the menu is huge and the prices are great. with most ayce restaurants i find the service slow and half your items never make it to your table, but at sushi village they have never forgotten an item and the food is to the table only minutes after ordering.
