sushi village

so i used to always come here before i started going to tensushiin gloucester. the quality here has definetely decreased and my rating has decreased. the service is still good but the food isn’t as good as before. additionally the variety they have for some of the sashimi is limited as compared to others.

decent food with amazing customer service. i have been going tosushivillage for 1+ years, and i am very pleased with their service and the food they offer. the ambiance is very relaxed, therefore my friends and i go there and could easily spend hours eating and chitchatting!! i go there quite often and i am always pleased !! gideon and may are my favorite :)

we have company over for dinner and i ordered several items for the evening. thesushiwere very good however all fried tempura were cold and not very good. my guest and i were not impressed with the quality of the tempura food.

great service! we were served by many people, all of them very polite, helpful and efficient. the quality of the food was good. the fish was fresh and thesushitightly rolled. the only complaint i had was the mango salad was mostly onions and peppers, and i would recommend avoiding that particular dish. it still gets 5 stars for the quality of everything else and the excellent service. good value for your money (charge of 6$ for leftovers - go on an empty stomach!! you’ll want to try as everything). even though the restaurant was getting busy, the staff made sure we did not feel rushed and were very accommodating for allergies.

recently after being a customer for years, i had an experience which will prevent me from ever returning. we arrived at 9:30 and they close at 10:30, we were made aware of the time when seated which was fine. we put everything we wanted on one sheet to save them time and only 1/2 the order came out (presentation was horrible) when we were told it was "last call" i reminded her that we were still waiting on items, she told us to reorder so we did. the hand rolls came out loosely rolled, when picked up most of the stuffing fell on the table, and the ones with tampura were cold and greasy. there were still two other tables, but staff was rushing around cleaning and hovering around clearing things as soon as we lifted the item off the dish practically- so we felt rushed and unwanted so we decided to just eat what was edible, pay and go. the manager became very rude when clearing the table saying we were wasting food in regards to the hand roll that fell on the table and a 3/4 ate sloppy over stuffed with rice hand roll. when we went to pay he went into this big demeaning lecture about not charging us this time but refusing to stamp our loyalty card. i explained to him what had happened with our order, and the sub par hand rolls and he became very argumentative. in the end i paid the base price only and just left the loyalty card that he finally stamped on the counter and told him to forget it i would never be back. the restaurant quality has declined over the years in general and the staff have in recent visits been abrupt, forgetful, and sloppy. ottawa has much bettersushirestaurants! skip this one!

this was my second time going.sushiwas good, the crab meat and salmon were fresh. the atmosphere was nice and the service was quick and efficient. no pressure to eat quickly and i don't have anything negative to say. finished off with a scoop of mango and another of red bean ice cream. would definitely go back.

easily the worstsushii've ever had, there are way better options in orleans. you can get way better quality for the save price in orleans.

love this place and have tried many manysushijoints. service is always fast and friendly, quality i would say is average to above average and that saporo is always ice cold. nice decor too! bathroom could use a scrubbing tho...all in all this place is a must and i would recommend!

it doesn't look like much on the outside, but the interior is quite spacious and they have a decent selection of ayce sushi, although there are other places in the city with a broader selection. nonetheless, thesushiis very good and the food comes quickly. the manager is super friendly and provides service with a smile.

this is my favouritesushirestaurant in the whole city! it's big, service is fast, you can always find a booth and thesushiis delicious. everything is so fresh, the menu is huge and the prices are great. with most ayce restaurants i find the service slow and half your items never make it to your table, but atsushivillage they have never forgotten an item and the food is to the table only minutes after ordering.

sushi below average. everyone saying this is the bestsushiin ottawa has obviously never had any decent sushi. secondly, it was the worst service i have ever experienced. me and my friend walked in and we were immediately reminded of the fact that we would only have a short time to eat before closure and that we could only order once. this was pushed on us three or four times. my friend decided he wasn't going to eat and told this to the waitress who made a pass at his glass of tepid tap water, but then decided to allow him to keep his glass. soon, the management assigned a waitress to spy on us for the duration of our meal. standing a few meters from our table, an uncomfortable atmosphere was tangible by all. as soon as i was done eating she bolted up to our table and took away all the plates, and, much like i decided five minutes after i walked in, never came back.

overall, it's fine. i have been here several times because i liked the menu, tasted good, variety of options, overall its your typicalsushibuffet... but the last time i went and decided not to return was when we found the oil that the tempuras were fried in had a bad aftertaste - usually burnt oil or old oil tastes like this when the oil isn't changed or fresh oil isn't used to deep fry. that definitely left a bad taste so to speak...

good fast and cheap not best quality. i like this place if i want a fast,affordable and abundant dinner! i keep going back here not for the quality but for all u can eat dinner,22$plus tax,all u can eat lunch is even cheaper. i have high standards when it comes to fish,i would not recommend this place if u re expecting the bestsushiin town .to find that u need to try an authentic family owned traditional japanese restaurant. all u can eatsushiplaces are pretty much all alike, cheap fast and abundant..the quality is left behind .

amazing all you can eat buffet in orleans. clean, modern and has pretty decoration. the food has such lovely taste. the stuff are friendly, polite, and alway smile. i love sushi. my family and i been to many manysushirestaurant butsushivillage is by far my favourite. my favourite dish would be all of them because all there food taste awesome!!! i will definitely be back soon!!!!!!!!!
