it was very good and the service was courteous and fast. theplacewas clean. you can choose all you can eat or à la carte. highly recommended.

love thisplaceand have tried many many sushi joints. service is always fast and friendly, quality i would say is average to above average and that saporo is always ice cold. nice decor too! bathroom could use a scrubbing tho...all in all thisplaceis a must and i would recommend!

mr delby. i came here 3 tomes before. but this time everything seems to be out of control. i didn't get my order as i placed it. there was a lot of missing items. tried to talk to the server but his english was not even close to fair. i left theplacepaid for my bill but still went next door to eat pizza. will not come back here again

good fast and cheap not best quality. i like thisplaceif i want a fast,affordable and abundant dinner! i keep going back here not for the quality but for all u can eat dinner,22$plus tax,all u can eat lunch is even cheaper. i have high standards when it comes to fish,i would not recommend thisplaceif u re expecting the best sushi in town .to find that u need to try an authentic family owned traditional japanese restaurant. all u can eat sushi places are pretty much all alike, cheap fast and abundant..the quality is left behind .

i love thisplaceso much. great service, great food. i go there so much that the staff know me and my boyfriend and bring us our usual drinks without even having to ask. i do wish that the sushi cost less to take home, and that you would receive a loyalty stamp when you order a takeout equivalent to the price of a meal. i would also advise to stay away from the non traditional japanese items such as the chicken wings, those are pretty nasty. but those are very small complaints considering every thing else is perfect. i wish i could eat there every single day.

i made an account on urbanspoon just so i could rave about this place. it's the best ayce sushiplacein orleans by far. average ayce pricing, consistently delicious food, friendly service and a clean restaurant. i couldn't be happier with an ottawa sushi place. i highly recommend it!

nothing special. went to try out thisplacesince i was in the area. there are definitely ayce places that are much better in orleans. many items that are usually on the lunch menu were only available for dinner. most items on the menu were either deep fried or vegetarian items. most likely will not be back toplaceunless the menu changes.

love the customer appreciation. it's conveniently located near my house, and a buddy of mine and i go every friday lunch around 1:30pm.

pros:
-so i'm not sure if most ayce sushi places do this, but a huge bonus for me was the stamp card you get when you go, and after having a few meals (i think 9?) you get a free one.
-the wait has never been bad, actually it's always been great! never more than 10-15 minutes, no matter what size the order is. food tastes great, never had a bad plate (except for squid, but it was my first time trying it, and i'm pretty sure i just don't like squid).
-lunch price per person is $14.99 on fridays, which is pretty good in my books.

cons:
-the selection for lunch sushi is a little small, but they make up for it with a lot of other types of food, especially fried dishes.
-keep track of your order, i've had it happen a couple of times where they bring food that we didn't order to our table, but they were very understanding of it.

all in all, greatplacefor an afternoon lunch!

8/10. i went there last night, after reading the good reviews on it. i'm very happy to see more ayce sushi restaurants in orleans! thisplacewas good. exact same prices as sushi kan. tuesday night dinner is $20.99pp. i would say their selection of items was excellent - just as many things as sushi kan, plus a few different ones.

the atmosphere and decor is quite lovely - i like what they've done with the place. definitely a nicer interior than sushi kan.

rolls: large. like another reviewer, i found the rolls to be a bit too big - which means more rice and that you get full off of rice faster. that being said, the rolls were quite tasty and i liked the variety they had to offer.

a few other things to mention:
drinks: if you want pop, they charge $1.00 / can.
skewered shrimp: be warned, this shrimp comes with the full body kit (not peeled or de-veined).
dynamite rolls is very good.

i also tried fuji sushi (the other new ayce that opened last week in gloucester) - and i would say that sushi village trumps that place, but for me - sushi kan beats thisplaceby a little.

i would go back here again, but i do like the size and types of rolls offered at sushi kan better. i missed the spicy crispy salmon rolls offered at sk.

never been to japan! but.... been to a few sushiplacein ottawa because i like sushi, but thisplacei think even for people who don't know or don't think they would like sushi, will enjoy the food at this place. always thought best sushi i've been to was in new york city. but today sushi village showed me it is even better.
