this is the place to go to if you ever have sushi cravings in brisbane. really good sushi at really affordable prices. in the picture, the caterpillar roll ($9) and the spider roll ($14) and both use top quality ingredients. we've also ordered some of the rice bowls to consume (not in picture) and with the regular size at only $8, it is really value for money. will definitely be back to try their other dishes as they have too many to try for one trip, or maybe even two.

a nice japanese place with lots of choices, great serves and done well. the curry chicken is a great dish, and the sushi is great as well.

this place is dayum good ! you wouldn't think much of it, but it truly is a hidden gem! amazing sushi and the prices are fantastic for what you get. had the tempura sushi roll and the katsu don which was fab and wanted more. definitely recommend this place for a cheap tasty meal 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

amazing sushi. one of my favourite places in the entire country. they made everything fresh, so not the fastest but the quality is outstanding and the pricing is quite reasonable for the quality.

last night we tried this busy, bustling sushi joint tucked away in a quiet corner off lytton rd.
we ordered the salmon avocado uramaki, and from the fusion menu, the lion roll, the spider roll and the double shrimp roll.
all dishes were fresh and well made. very good sushi, and despite it being a busy night (even on a wednesday night there was a line up at the door throughout the evening) they remembered our request for reduced mayo for our sushi rolls.
quite enjoyable and recommended if you're in the area and looking for a sushi fix.

the worst sushi in my life.
i went there because it has a such high rate in zomato, but in fact the food totally doesnt deserve such rate.

really good sushi rolls. the aburi salmon was perfectly seared and the california rolls were fresh. the karaage chicken was crunchy with a good serving of mayo. the bento box was filling but not as great as other bento boxes in terms of food items and flavour. the agedashi tofu was also lacking in flavour. otherwise really great food. will come back for the sushi!

came just for a quick fix to my sashimi craving. fish was fresh. diners looked happy and satisfied. busy place too. would love to go back to try other dishes.

i have been going to this place almost weekly. tonight they forgot my meal for the fourth time in a row while my girlfriend finished her's. the food is nice but i guess only if you actually get it. when i asked for a refund, the waitress tried to convince me to get takeaway instead. this is actually terrible service and i won't be back.

sushi kotobuki is very popular, serves up some very nice sushi and represents an excellent value for money ($40 for three of us).

the unagi (eel) was really good and the tomago was satisfactory.

they also serve some really unique sushi like the kotobuki roll (the first time i've ever burnt my mouth on sushi...beware of the molten cream cheese!).

the chicken katsu was dry and the chicken crunch was bland.

i've been here a couple times, most recently on an early sunday evening. interesting to note that at 6pm a line developed out the door and an hour later people were still stacked up despite them moving people through at a steady pace. arrive early or plan to wait in line.

best sushi in brisbane and you can tell by the very big line you find. very fast service, their food is always consistent and oh so fresh! i love how they can always accommodate my takeaway orders as i always get the lion king but get them to put prawns and cream cheese instead of the usual crab stick and cucumber. their service is so friendly and the food is even better. there should be more places like this.

arguably my favorite grub in brisbane!! i get shocked when i meet someone who hasn't been here because its just so well priced so such fresh and tasty japanese food!

i do quite like this japanese place, it's usually busy and the food is fresh and yummy. my only gripe is that often my meal comes out after a long wait and long after my partner has finished his meal, and once we were told they'd run out of rice which doesn't leave much left to order.

very good food , good price , very fresh !
i would return any time when in the area.
but leave early as long lines are very common for the great food.
