expensive.. sushi wasgoodbut very pricey. service was okay but nothing special.

i just had a dinner and a great night here.
nice environment on the top of the establishment.
waitress was so polite helping us with our choices, easy to talk to and with agoodmemory. food was cooked in front of us, which helped as well to understand exactly what we could have eaten.
we spent 2 hours eating great food. the dessert suggested by our waitress was amazing!
it is expensive but totally worth it.

seriously there is nothing special, overpriced, small portion, service wasn’t bad but the whole environment is too noisy, not agoodplace for sushi.

i highly recommend the kingfish sashimi and wagyu and caviar sushi. these dishes really surprise me with fantastic flavour. the waitresses are gorgeous and very friendly. the atmosphere in the restaurant is reallygoodtoo.goodplace to go!

we came here due to the fact that it hasgoodreviews. we left very disappointed and would never come back again.

- price: very pricey, the tasting menu ($75per head) is such a waste of money, below average quality (even worse than a sushi train outlet). only sashimi was okay, the rest of the meal was such a joke.
- service: it is our biggest disappointment. i don’t know the name of the waitress who served us as she didn’t wear her name badge. long story short: impolite, impatient, from the moment we ordered until when we paid our bill. didn’t even look at us, didn’t say thank you after handling the receipt.
we expected agooddinner (willing to pay a premium price) after a long day at work, cannot be more upset after this terrible experience

wow ! great company and great food. what a way to end a busy day in sydney. the food at sushi e is alway consistent, good, easily digestible and just tantalising. i always feelgoodafter eating there.

the dishes were just top of the charts and can’t wait to come back.

the salmon dishes and tuna dishes were great and my friend loved the chicken.

please try!! you won’t be upset.

also the waitresses and staff are friendly, courteous and just happy to please.

seriously best japanese in sydney. toogoodto be true! not cheap at all, but never disappointing. super skilled chefs and high quality ingredients. waiters might forget about your wine or water sometimes or even a booking, but i will come back anyways for great sushi and will recommend as the best sushi place.

very expensive place with a classy vibe to it which isgoodfor dates, special occasions etc. you can be seated around the bar where you can watch the chefs prepare the food for you, or be seated behind them on small intimate tables. 

we were able to get seats straight away on a thursday night (~6:30pm) which was awesome. had some problems with our order though wherein they brought us a dish that we didn't order and mixed up another one of our dishes. they let us have one free of charge which was very nice of them, and they charged for the other one since we decided to keep it. we later realised they never brought us one of our other dishes, so we checked up on it and turns out our waitress didn't put the order through. it was fine though since at this point, we were quite full. overall, mistakes were made and it wasn't a big deal but service was just a bit slow at times. 

onto the food! most of the sashimi/sushi was great, some pieces were pretty tough to chew, perhaps served too soon. sushi e style kingfish was very tasty, nothing amazing but it was quite a decent portion which wasgoodconsidering the pricetag. my favourite dish was definitely the miso cod - so succulent, so very delicious. would definitely recommend it. they also gave us all some complementary panna cotta, which was a lovely surprise :) 

overall, the food is above average and very well presented but i'm really not sure if it's worth the price.

find sushi e at the top of the dollar scale. whilst the feel of the restaurant isgoodi cannot say the same for the service. have been twice and have had problems with communications where the staff basically ordered the wrong meals. the quality of food has always been different on various visits.

heard amazing things about sushi e although was left quite disappointed. whilst it was noticeably busy there were a few things that disappointed. the venue was loud and you had to be loud to your company. the wait staff were terrible with forgetting twice to bring a wine and when confronted a simple apology wasnt even said. more upsetting was that the wait staff left it on the bill and having it amended was a drama on its own so just paid for it.

food quality whilstgoodwas not filling enough. too much hocus pocus not enough portion. people want to eat not view art. the energetic entertaining atmosphere doesn't really give you the intimate flashy and classy perception of what the place is.

a disappointing evening. the basis of my score is mostly because of staff being not well prepared to resolve customer problems. secondly the foods portions are just notgoodenough. possibly would give another shot but the image is tarnished.

incrediablygoodsushi & japanese restaurant. best bet is to sit back and let the feed you a variety of treats.

having read many rave reviews and craving reallygoodsushi, i decided to give this place a try with the swede. ordered the premium sashimi and sushi platter to share and 2 miso soups. the seafood was fresh and the portions are good. over all agoodjapanese restaurant.

it was really nice experience. the sushi r really tasty, especially the wagyu with teriyaki sauce on it. one thing to be addressed, the sushi rolls were all warm and made me feelgoodas my stomach hurts sometimes after eating too cold food. seaweed salad is exactly what i expected. the waitresses were really polite and considerate. free raspberry pudding surprised me a lot.

this sushi bar is right in amongst the trendy establishment. great atmosphere. the sushi chefs working hard and do not lose focus at all. fresh sashimi of high quality, soft shell crab and bay bug sushi made to order. on the higher end of japanese dining with agoodselection of alcohol, i can see the appeal.

came here for a birthday dinner. very fresh sashimi (almost asgoodas my top place to go for sashimi in crows neat :)) sushi was great. ambiance was lovely, staff were attentive as well. the only downside i remember was the green tea ice cream which was the consistency and texture of clag glue (so have your dessert elsewhere). not very appealing. other than than, tops.
