amazing food. after trying for a few weeks to get a table we finaly got one and it was worth the wait. we loved the food,servicewas good too. perfect for sharing with big groups.we will def be back.

love the food at syg, this place is now on our must do every time we’re staying in the area. most recently visited during the christmas holiday period and again with friends over the australia day long weekend, excellent food andserviceboth times. will return for more tasty treats.

wow! amazing vegan options there wasn't many but the flavours in what we had were incredible. we were blown away with a really cool place, trendy vibe, great service, beautiful wine & beer.
theservicewas friendly, attentive and informative. we loved it and will be back soon. great teamwork.

we had a fabulous meal here last week, the food was amazing, full of flavour and really felt like we were eating authentic dishes with a great variety of meals! theservicewas incredible and the atmosphere was wonderful! we can't wait to come back and try out some of the other dishes! :)

we came to sum yung guys after seeing highly rated reviews. where to even start? the food was over powering in salt and spiciness there was no flavour to the dishes we ordered, the fish in the green curry was dry and over cooked, no flavour but spice in the paw paw salad and pork dad daew. theservicewas really pushy as well, our waitress kept pushing us to order more even though we were content with what we wanted. as someone with an asian background this is honestly a disgrace to “asian food”. i presume the only reason why the rating is so high is the fact that it is located in noosa and everyone there thinks that this is the “standard” that asian food should be. to top it off my partner and i both got upset stomachs from the food. if you are experiencing constipation this would be the perfect place to go to really clear your bowels. you can get perfectly cooked asian green curry, tom sum, and dad daew in brisbane for under $20 with double the portion size. i would suggest getting the basics of asian cooking right before even trying to attempt a pitiful effort at modern asian fusion.

we visited sum yung guys for a birthday dinner and enjoyed the 6-course degustation (the only option with restricted dining). the food andservicewas awesome, the vibe was relaxed yet classy and the drinks were delicious. we couldn't get through the food despite arriving hungry. i can't wait to return to sum yung guys for another feast!

enjoyed a fantastic meal here recently. we enjoyed cuttlefish, sweet potato salad, prawn toast, naan bread, kingfish, san choi bao all super delicious. to top off meal we enjoyed the panacotta.servicewas quick, friendly and genuine.

sum yung guys is a must for all who come to the sunshine coast. the food andservicewere exceptional. each dish complementing the last, the food was fresh and new and honest. as a reasonably unadventurous eater at times, i was incredibly surprised to absolutely love every dish (and trust me we tried many!). each dish was perfectly balanced and just so tasty... impossible to choose a favourite. the cocktails and wines on offer did not disappoint either, everything we tried was absolutely delicious... we loved meeting dylan who made us feel like part of the family from the word go. matt, dylan and crew, you are on a winner, keep up the sensational work!

amazing food, menu,serviceand decor! my boyfriend and i shared the crispy rice cakes, mussels and heavenly beef and were perfectly satisfied! the mussel broth was out of this world and i hope to try replicate at home but doubt i will be able to! our server was very attentive. thank you we will be back!

had a fabulous dinner here. food was amazing, theserviceprompt informative and casual. we had amazing rice paper rolls, the barramundi green and beef cheek rendang curries all amazing and full of flavour! wish this was the local thai takeaway!!. you will pay a little more but we'll worth it. highly recommend.

probably the best meal i’ve had all year! theservicewas super friendly and quick but the food is the stand out. everything we had was truly exceptional, and we ate a lot. pork belly, wagyu tartare, prawn toast, tom kha mussels, beef short rib, red curry duck and mushroom pad see ew. i can recommend every one of them!

we had a great lunch here, everything was spectacular. the flavours were amazing. we shared pork belly, tiger ribs and the red thai duck curry and some roti. it was truly wonderful.servicewas also excellent, friendly and efficient. highly recommended.
