the waiter name alaa was horrible who judges people by their clothes , he was arrogant, rude and disrespectful all because we weren’t ordering much , keeping in my this was our firsttimehere and as a family
never visiting this place again
horrible hospitality
and average food which is not worth the money

it was my firsttimein this place earlier yesterday and i was told that they serve nice food and the view is worth going all the way to ajman. this restaurant serves turkish cuisine and they have the benefit of being located straight on ajman's beach and serving shisha for those who fancy smoking. my comments are below:

*food: good , well spiced, quantity is good

*ambiance: normal except the view.

*staff: not so impressive in terms of service and friendliness. their manager wasn't really redemptive for complaints and tried to defend the obvious mistake of their chef who has burnt our food (check attached photo.

price: reasonable.

we checked the reviews on zomato before visiting the restaurant. although the in-house dining reviews were not that great we still thought of giving it a shot (one strong reason was the sea view from the restaurant)

food was ok, but we too had a bad experience. the staff were pretty hostile, service was terrible. the bad service took the sheen away from the good food, location and view. this place requires a bigtimeoverhaul of the service

the waiter will force u to order more and more. the manager insisted that there is a min spend even on a saturday lunchtimethough he was not able to show any written proof if this exist. the tables were empty and the resturant is devoid of basic hospitality etiquettes.

very poor customer service, manager is very very rude, waiters forget the complementary sweets for us. food is cold. they charge us for extra tea without
informing that is was not included in breakfast set. money not worth of quality of food.
only view is good, nothing else. please don't waste yourtimeand money on this resturant.

almost the restaurant is empty and they are keeping the tables beside the window without people and when we ask them to shift didn’t accept with very bad excuse , and this is not the firsttimethey do such a thing we are coming from jumeirah park in dubai for the view and they reply like this

just finished from there and here's my review:

1. promised us a specific seating on the terrace, we ordered accordingly and suddenly they let someone else there who just came in.
2. by thetimewe came to our seating there, our food came in cold although i informed before if its cold, do not bring it.
3. nothing was done to compromise for the bad service offered by the waiters except reheating the food and providing the next available table.
4. food is not amazing, just okay (we ordered eskander kabeb and 1.5 meter kabeb)

the only positive and plus point is the view, so it is only a good place of you're going for a dessert with a drink and shisha. otherwise, there are better places

we wanted a table by the sea and they told us it was not available and there are people waiting, when we agreed to wait they said that we should not wait as it will take too long. they seated at another table and gave the seaside tables everyone who came after us but refused us from changing the tables. this is not firsttimemany of our friends have also complained of the same. the waiters are not helpful and very rude.

if you want to enjoy a delicious turkish meal with a great view this is it! the restaurant is perfect during the afternoontimeas you can enjoy the beautiful sea view while dining to succulent and flavorful kebabs.

i went here with my family of 6. the first thing that the host/waiter did was recommend a huge amount of food ideally fit for 15 people for just the 6 of us subtly hinting us to over order. gladly we didnt fall for that. we complied to order a turkish rice, 1/2 metre mix grill and a kofta. the dishes were highly overpriced especially the mix grill. its the minimum courtesy of a regular arab restaurant anywhere to provide hummus and garlic paste with the kebabs. but even though they didnt do it, 240 dhs for a bare 1/2 kg of meat is extremely expensive. and the food was medicore and nothing out of the extraordinary. there are places that serve better food for a way better price. the main waiter was condescending about the amount of order we place too. aside from that this place boasts a good ambience and a medicore rating for food and hospitality. will not be visiting this place anytimein the near future.

the food looked exactly like on the menu and it tasted just as amazing. we walked in by luck and were astounded by the servings. from my years of living in the uae, this is the firsttimei've walked in to a restaurant that's cheap and affordable and looks exactly like on the menu. and the service was amazing ! they welcomed us with a complimentary drink and ended the meal with another. the food was all served hot and their selection of vegetables were all fresh.

i would recommend to all !

reserve prior to visit as this place is usually crowded. since, we visited on a weekend, it was exceptionally crowded. we made our reservations a day earlier though.

food:
ordered their ali nazik, mixed grill, and beef casserole in the mains. and we were absolutely not disappointed by the flavor of meat, the juicy texture of it, the freshness, the aroma, the entire platter got our tummies growling just of its really invigorating and appetizing odour. very well prepared and plated. just the right amount of seasoning done. not too greasy. delicious!

service:
firstly, thetimethey take to prepare a not so big order is condemnable. it’s understandable that it was a busy day, but when you’re starving at peak lunch hours, it’s a little hard to maintain patience, while watching others being served.
secondly, the staff is a little impolite, rather rude in behavior to those who make orders of lesser money value. we noticed some people (including us) being given almost the right amount of attention, while others who ordered say 1 or 2 little meals were not even being attended, and if attended, with rude facial expressions and minimal interaction. it was a bad sight!

ambience:
weekends don’t allow you to judge this part of dining in a place. but it’s an overall amazing experience when you get seated facing the sea. thankfully, ventilation was properly done as people smoke sheesha in the same sitting.

money value:
it does come on a somewhat pricey side when you compare the portion size to your pocket size lol! if you’ve got some extra bucks to spend on food with good view, it’s a fine choice.

unfortunately i didn’t have a good experience. the firsttimei went there was almost 2-3 years ago and even though i liked the food i had a terrible experience with the staff and later on i decided to give this place another chance so i went last weekend with my friends and again we had a bad experience, simply their customer service is very bad even though the view is great and the food is good but you can’t be in a place where you don’t feel comfortable.

we were there for the secondtimein two years. the food is good. it tastes really good. but the older coordinator / head waiter who takes the orders in the outdoor area is not really polite. no grinning, rude facial expressions and noisy command of the staff. no turkish hospitality. both visit the same, so no recommendation.

i loved this restaurant. it’s very family friendly, it proves authentic turkish cuisine and, unlike most turkish restaurants in the country, its prices are very affordable especially compared to the quality and quantity of food. they also serve shisha, but is segregated from the non smoking area so it’s safe for children.

kawaj: 5/5. its cooked in a pot so it has that grilled taste to it and its served with rice. the meat is perfectly cooked with the perfect mixture of spices.

mixed grill: 5/5. i have never tasted better kebab than the one served at sultan saray, it is absolutely delightful.

waraq enab: 5/5. i usually don’t like eating waraq enab outside my house as i haven’t found one that matches the one my mother makes, however, this is the closest one that i have found.

the starters dish is also great with a good variety. 5/5.

my family and i had such an enjoyabletimeat sultan saray and we will definitely be returning soon.
