great foodgreatservice!. came in for dinner as a party of 6 for my friends birthday this week. nick was our waiter, who just excelled throughout the entire evening. food was also cooked to perfection everyone ordered something different and all were highly satisfied. took us ages to decide what to order as every item on the menu sounded wonderful! presentation was also excellent on the plate.compliments to the chef we will be back! coming from a background in 5 star hotels it takes alot to impress me but from the moment i sat down i felt welcomed and relaxed. we even brought a cake which can sometimes not go down well, but was greeted with a smile and the staff even sang happy birthday! just want to say a big thanks to nick his manners and service skills were spot on and really added to the total experience.

not sure why there are so many bad reviews , maybe we were just lucky but we will definitely go there again . 4 adults and every meal wasgreat, a mixture of reef & beef , pork belly , lamb & asian beef noodles . all 4 meals were cooked to perfection and tastedgreat. staff were friendly and the bill was roughly what i expected to pay . my only complaint was the heaters were broken so it was a bit fresh in the outer seating on a cool evening .

ridiculous prices for small average serves.
$19 smashed avo on toast appeared to be a spread and not fresh avocado, but hard to tell with the minuscule amount. $6.50 large coffee is the same size you'll pay $5 for down the road.
very disappointing with so many other options in the area.

i have been to steel tree for breakfast, lunch, dinner and just for snacks now. their service has beengreatevery time, and the food is impeccable withgreatvalue for money. definitely recommend the big breakfast, or for lunch/dinner the thai beef salad. they do specialty cocktails which change regularly and are all delicious, $12 lunch specials, and everything is available as take away!

friendly and attentive staff,greatprice, yum wine and delicious food. beer list. but short but other than that beautiful end to a lovey weekend.

absolutely brilliant. went here now three times as we were getting sick of the garbage cafés on offer in rockingham. thank god we did. i can't say enough good things about this place. food was amazing and we have had quite a few things from there now, service wasgreatand atmosphere was pleasing. plus the fact that they will make anything they have for takeaway means we go back over and over. definitely recommend this place.

great spot,greatfood. i love coming here during the week. the staff are awesome and the food is so good! i always struggle to get through it because the portions are huge.

i dont think your menu needs to be quite so extensive! less is best...it also is qiute 'tacky' looks like your trying to hard? have a look at the menu list of your new neighbours, take note :-/

unbelievable!! i thought i may check the reviews, it has been a while since my last visit. somehow one of the chefs seems to think its appropriate to slag off customers for putting forward their views on the experience they had at the st!! my god...its not fb moron? grow up, take it and learn. a fine example of what characters run the place!? good onya st. manager/owner leash your staff. friendly advice

i always ask my workmates. ..why the steel tree all the time for a get together?! they say, value for money?? im like ok..you were scaring me it was because it was the service or thegreatfood...that once was?? same same st!! but only worse. rant over! no more work get togethers for me :(

had dinner once again at the foreshore, the girls actually had their smiley face on, so well done..maybe you read my last review, but lets hope you took it upon yourselves :-) although their was a mix up with my order, awesome food all the same! the girls do have to tweek a few things though with service? ended up there for breakfast sunday aswell and breakfast was cooked to perfection!! well done to the chef/s. i do feel there is no leader with the service?? having been in hospitality for a number of years this needs attention, particulary busy nights like friday and saturdays. just friendly advice

i have been eating at the steel tree @ the foreshore for a while now, and although the food has improved by ten-fold in the last 6 months i can not say the same about the service!! everytime i eat there i see a new waitress, walking around like fart-in-a-trance? the girls are very messy in presentation and never smile. on the bright side...finally someone did clean the cob webs that nest in the corners!? its not just the food guys that needs to be awesome, its the service that needs to be awesome too!! maybe consistency with staff and a few lessons in smiling :) wouldn't go astray. booked in for next saturday...watch this space :-/

lunch time. went to the steel tree at rockinham front with my three friends and had the chicken and veg pie and it was really tasty there was not one thing left on the plate .the young girl who served us was very nice and served us with a smile,and what we paid for the meal was good and you get a wine ,beer or cold drink with it for less than $20greatvalue.i say go and try it we enjoyed it,and we will be back again.

went for dinner at steel tree tonight, food was impeccable. my partner and i had the tender beef fillet with a béarnaise sauce and creamy garlic prawns. fillet was cooked to perfection, just how we asked (medium-rare.) in reply to previous comment (so not wankers ) salad was very good and the beer battered chips really hit the spot with the perfect amount of seasoning. garlic prawns were nothing short of what you would expect from a high end seafood restaurant. constantly checked by staff to make sure every thing was up to standard. drink was nice and strong and coffee was good enough to buy a second round overall agreatmeal. on ya' steel tree!! xx

fantastic!!!. i have eaten here twice in the last two months and both times i have had positive experiences. the staff have been friendly and efficient, the food fantastic (love the $15 lunch menu monday to friday with choice of drink) andgreatpresentation of food.

i'll be returning here for another meal :)

what agreatdining experience, the staff are so happy and helpful! i have not had service like that in such a long time.. amazing food and atmosphere will definitely be back.
