finally tasted the 'ferrari' of beverages...starbucks coffee ????
to be frank, i ended up paying 240 bucks for a cup(435 ml) of coffee. no complaints regarding the quality though. thanks to western media, was super excited to have this coffee. i visited their store at sujana mall, hyderabad. ordered caramel macchiato..forgive me if i have spelled it wrong. opted for this based on a review which i read. coffee was sweet enough even without adding additional sachets of sugar. i'm not complaining but it wasn't too hot. while ordering, they asked if we would have it in store ot take it away. awed by the ambience and aroma in the store, opted for having in the store. they took about 10 minutes to serve our order. while waiting for the order, they were serving promotional tiny cups of berry flavoured frappachino(this is part of the name which i remember, the steward told me a technical name though). after tasting this tiny cup(80-100ml), my expectations went to the next level. i loved its taste, may be because i didn't have to pay for it. just kidding, i loved it and felt that i should have tasted it before giving my order of caramel macchiato. eventually my order arrived and i was disappointed seeing that the coffee was served in coffee mug rather than the signature starbucks container. later i learnt that only take away orders are served in those cups.
as the name of the coffee which i ordered had caramel in it, the coffee was sweet but not too sweet. usually in coffee day, you get to taste a bitter coffee initially and then you add sugar to your taste. but this starbucks coffee was in contrast. the top layer was decorated with caramel. sorry couldn't include this image as i drank my first sips with eagerness and later though of writing a coffee. i've ordered for the largest coffee quantity, they call it 'grande'...true...i took good two minutes to realize the best way to handle the cup. flavour of the coffee was mild. milk wasn't too creamy, i liked it that way and you got to have a lot of appetite to complete the grande size cup of coffee.
i'd rate this coffee 3.5/5.
i've a a suggestion for starbucks here, it would be great if they can display all the items on their menu so that it can be easy for a customer like me to order. the menu card has some names which i've hardly heard before.
overall it was a good experience not a great one because i wasn't aware of many things. hopefully my next visit should be a great one.
you will find white sugar, brown sugar and chocolate powder to add to your beverage.

a much awaited checklist. a place that entices you with the seductive aroma of coffee. a place with fuss-free decor and a complimentary red velvet mousse to add to the joy. first innings at starbucks pretty much sums up all this. an ideal latte to that is classy and tasteful (pun intended), starbucks is the go-to option for light lunch, morning cuppa of steaming and brewing coffee in flavours and shades or to refresh yourself from the daily grind.

we ordered mediterranean foccacia  with roasted vegetables, blueberry muffin, chicken salad, red velvet cake, raspberry truffle mocha and white chocolate mocha. needless to mention that the size and content left us contended without forcing us to leave leftover. the blueberry muffin was baked in a unique way reminding me of the flavour of 'malpua' whereas the red velvet cake tastes as good as it looks.

p.s. the raspberry truffle with its pungent taste proves to be a strong panacea a brainstorming day at work. if you prefer soft and frizzy stuff then white chocolate mocha will seal the deal!

coffee is just as good as elsewhere, bites are few in variety but exactly the same as just any other starbucks. staff know their mixes and are good at their jobs. there's a cosy corner table at this joint we love to sit and chat at - try to score that table (overlooks the entrance of the mall and is out of sight).

not as good as overseas branches. ambiance and service are good, but taste can be much more improved. tried starbucks in south korea and bangkok which are better compared to this. coffee is not hot and mini muffins size can be increased.

this is my second visit to starbucks in inorbit. both the times my coffee isn't hot enough. i checked with my friends as well and they are on same page as me. so please make sure to keep the coffee hot. we won't drink it right away/but in slow fashion, which means it needs to be hot. taste wise it is really good.

secondly the store is not up to the mark with respect to cleanliness when compared to the other coffee shops  in hyderabad. i had to wait few mins to get a table and even after that no one bothered to clean it up. the people sitting on the table have to move the stuff by themselves. this is not expected at all for the amount being paid.

coming to the food, it is more than awesome. i had the best pastries in hyderabad.

taste of stars in a cup...

when i tasted cappucino for the 1st time at starbucks in orion mall bangalore, i found it million times better than ccd and barista..

i thought of having that divine experience once again in forum sujana mall hyderabad and the moment we entered, a guy greeted us with a loud hi and everyone in the outlet sounded with same energy and activeness..these guys stand as true example for the word "professionalism"

we ordered caramel mocha, white choclate mocha, chatpata chapati roll, winter cake and passion iced tea..there is only 1 word to describe the taste of these items..its
d i v i n e...

quality doesnt come at cheap price..so it may sound expensive but worth for every penny spent..

taste *****
service *****
that is the summary of
star bucks..

in u.s coffee means starbucks but after i returned back to india couple of years back my urge towards coffee has come down. visited this place in forum mall, nice place good ambiance but i rather felt not a worth to spend about rs 1000 for a group of 4 just for coffee. i may not be a frequent visitor here as i have better options.

i definitely think that the kukatpally branch is better than this one. the cafe is very small compared to the one in kukatpally. it is stuffy .the coffee tastes good but the outlet is definitely missing something.

rating on a scale of 1 to 5 ambience- 3.3 food - 3.5 service - 4 value- 3.5 overall - 3.5

happy to finally visit star bucks at hyd (jubilee one is far from my place) .. it will take some time before things will cool down and allow us to see its silent side.. even though it's cramped for space.. have had a similar experience to one visited at bangalore

lively ambience, food choices can be better and coffee making needs to be trained to the staff - i ordered a cappucino - it was more like a cafe latte, the chicken puff was nothing great, mushroom sandwich was the saving grace; spent inr 630 for 2 coffees and 2 savouries.

more than forty years (given in the newspaper) and the coffee taste hasn't changed, that's what my parents told me!

there are few people who are too addicted to coffee and also to starbucks. me, being a coffee fanatic, starbucks was on my first to visit-list, and i surely did!!

i had come here and i am typing this sitting in the coffee-shop ;) i ordered a caffe mocha and an almond & butterscotch cookie. the cookie served warm, has the aroma of butterscotch, the essence of the sugar and the almonds can be tasted in the very first bite. the caffe mocha, with cream on top of it, the chocolate added to it and the taste of coffee, truly wonderful. this taste is surely going to be registered in my memory!

ambience and hospitality can be given an excellent. the coffee-shop was lively with good music playing in the background.

"the more you sip, the more you earn." started by them, is surely a very interesting and an advantage for those who are addicted to satrbucks, and i'm suerly one of them!!

so, every-evening, during tea-time, on my way back home i can buy myself a coffee!! =d i don't have to mention anything else, 'coz all my readers and others are surely going to visit this place.

my report card for this legendary coffee-shop is;
taste- 5/5
cost- 4.5/5
ambience- 4.5/5
hospitality- 4.5/5
coffee-shop outlooks, cleanliness,etc.- 5/5
