saw the reviews on zomato and went here on a sunday afternoon. the staffs didn't even gave us water for drinking and even taking order took a lot of time. but there was one person who was taking the order for whole restaurant. taste of kulcha was good but portion was less. soap cake was a utter disaster. everything is overpriced. i see therestaurantis small but why it took so much to take order ? and only one person taking order for whole restaurant?

worst service when you go in a big group. we had a group booking of almost 30 people and the service that was provided is nothing in comparison with the usual service. i have been to spice klub earlier and was always happy so thought of hosting my parent's 30th anniversary here but i'm highly disappointed this time. staff didn't attend us properly and even the food was served super late. when it's a fixed menu it's easy for arestaurantto serve but here i dunno what made it so difficult for the staff to follow. we had to ask for every item, it took them 2 hours to serve main menu. when asked for a dish they got it 30 minutes later, even pani puri took them that long.
super annoyed with the service and even the food didn't have the usual taste.

i went to therestaurantonly for the ratings by zomato. but humble request to everyone please don't get fooled away by the 4.6 rating. never seen this worst customer service and poor staffs anywhere. they just chase away the customers by saying no food upfront on the face very rude and they keep pushing the customers saying last order. bottom line *save some self-respect for yourself.*

went into this place last night .. was damn hangryy!!
looking at the menu decided to have
flower pot - a rasamalai based mouse with chocolate pot 🪴
pani puri - looked like a chemical lab with test tubes 🧪 and injection 💉 with sweet pani in it ..
papdi chaat - not sure of what it’s called here ..
but this is what stood out from the other ones i had .. unique presentation 🤩

check this place for the experience.. it’s a fancyrestaurantlike the ones you see on the big screen 📺 🧑‍🍳

had a visit to thisrestaurantand was amazed by the service and the taste. the dishes were lovely, and the service was too good. there are some places where in the service is fast but the bearers don't listen to you fully, but spiceklub was making a difference here. they cater to all your demands.

parking is good. groups over 4 people should definitely make a reservation here.

restroom can be maintained a bit more good.

definitely a place to visit, and one of the best places in chennai for veg lovers! don't forget to use zomato pro for the best deals.

had a amazing experience, one of the must try restaurants in chennai. you definitely have to try their specials especially the palak chat in spiceklub style, naanza and bubbling kulfi. definitely i'll visit therestaurantto try the other dishes. thanks to mr.prakash who was very courteous and gave the right recommendations.

the experience was a damp squib. a run of the millrestaurantposing to be a fine dining place. the quantity and quality are sacrificed under the pretext of presentation. rotis were served cold and the main course was no where close to the original recipe. a thick gooey concoction named malai lassi was mindlessly served on a martini long stemmed glass. tender coconut water ordered as a drink came as small cubes of nitrogen frozen balls. well the chef seems to have gotten carried away by the good shows on tv and is attempting to wow everyone with his presentation skills and woefully failed. all in all a bad experience. not worth the money. will never go back !!!

the food was presented which much theatre ...
paav bhaji fondue ,
mango on the rocks
hazari paneer.

mango on the rocks was theatrical experience with liquid nitrogen. it tasted good as well. the panner starter was sooo soft and flavourful. the accompaniments provided was excellent. the pav bhaji fondue was another dish with a bit of theatre and the bhaji was grinded to a creamy texture and u could easily soak them in the toasted bread 🍞 pieces. it was mild creamy and comforting.

not the same can be told about kadai paneer and the indian breads ... the gravy was too sweet to my taste with loads of onions...

the ambience is little chaotic but still a good one .. parking was an adventure, so it is better we take a driver with us :)

visited spiceklub today, and must say the service was really amazing. got seated at the top floor and the food was really good. i must say who served us was really professional and gentle. thisrestaurantalways surprises me by their modern way of serving food. i had the nannza, ragda patties & papdi chaat for appetizers. you definitely must order the papdi chaat for the uniqueness in it. i also had the kalakhatta mojito ...which was perfect!

for main course i had the butter naan and malai kofta. the naan was fluffy.

post covid relaxation’s therestaurantdoes not have the right ingredients to make food of its standard.
they have served stale food - papdi chat has got the stale papdi being it months old.
the biryani is wet and tasteless.
therestaurantis not fit to open if it does not have its chefs.

the food was delicious. we throughly enjoyed the food. but i felt, the serving size was very little and hence found it over priced. also, therestaurantis highly understaffed. the wait time even for bill was more than 10 mins!

you can check my other reviews, i hardly give 5 stars, but this one deserves it. thisrestaurantmodernizes traditional indian cuisine and still manages to impress us. we ordered a pani puri which was awesome, both the fillings and chutneys. but the highlight was definitely pav bhaji fondue, which was out of the world and chole kulche was also good. also do try the sizzling spiceklub falooda. overall a great experience.

thisrestauranthas vegetarian indian food but served in experimental ways (molecular gastronomy) for starters and desserts. the food was largely tasty. though i didn't like what they did with vada pav. in mains indian flatbreads were really well done and dal makhani superb.
in desserts we tried falooda. while taste was good, few chunks of tutti fruity in it were really hard to chew. overall an above average experience. definitely the way food is served here is photographer's delight.
