appetizers and desserts are amazing and had a unique taste withgoodpresentation. main course are just normal and i would not recommend. all the servers were not able to understand neither the regional language nor the global language which made communication an unpleasant experience.

relatively smallish set-up withgoodambience. food presentation has their own touch such as the green chutney comes in the form of foam instead of liquid, dahi in dahi chaat is jelly-fied etc.
taste of the food is just about average. nothing special.

saw the reviews on zomato and went here on a sunday afternoon. the staffs didn't even gave us water for drinking and even taking order took a lot of time. but there was one person who was taking the order for whole restaurant. taste of kulcha wasgoodbut portion was less. soap cake was a utter disaster. everything is overpriced. i see the restaurant is small but why it took so much to take order ? and only one person taking order for whole restaurant?

the dishes were very good. the pan mousse was excellent. the soap cake concept was totally different and amazing. the main course was also very well done. steven served us the food, he was verygoodin explaining the dishes.

the food quality and service by steven and his staff has been amazing. the best thing i liked about the staff is they are caring and courteous. the best thing i liked is the portion size. we lived the concept of small portion which we feel isgoodcoz we can order different items and taste more items and also the quantity is just perfect

ordered kadai paneer large. large is actually the regular size box we get in other restaurants. that too not filled completely.

when we entered, we were welcomed by mosquitoes. the staff there was in too much hurry and he was right away rude throughout the service.

food wasgoodbut the staff and service is horrible. as per the standard of the place the management is not appropriate

the experience was a damp squib. a run of the mill restaurant posing to be a fine dining place. the quantity and quality are sacrificed under the pretext of presentation. rotis were served cold and the main course was no where close to the original recipe. a thick gooey concoction named malai lassi was mindlessly served on a martini long stemmed glass. tender coconut water ordered as a drink came as small cubes of nitrogen frozen balls. well the chef seems to have gotten carried away by thegoodshows on tv and is attempting to wow everyone with his presentation skills and woefully failed. all in all a bad experience. not worth the money. will never go back !!!

had to take my extended family for a dinner.. since we were 8 and it was a saturday night i had planned well in advance to shortlist a place and book the table to accomodate the big count. shortlisted spiceklub after careful research on their menu and varieties, read recent reviews on service and ambience..
we went through the menu which was looking a verygoodfusion of different states. our server stephen wasgoodand well aware with the knowledge and preparation style of menu. although i think he could have been a little more aware on the quantity that could serve agood8 people.. we fell short of main course for 8 people.. the bread remained which had to be packed..
although starters, main course were top notch..
spinach mushroom shashlik was a winner in starters, roomali roti and naan were winner in main course.. frankly i did not have such a high quality naan ever in chennai and since a long time anywhere else..
the winner of the night was bubbly kulfi.. everyone just loved the concept of kulfi served so differently..
stephen was agoodserver with all his right recomendations to suit our pallet..

few days ago, we literally stumbled on this restaurant. it has a slightly cramped ambience with dim lights and humble seating. we ate roomali roti and paneer masala, the quality of which was very good. i am positive the other veg dishes here will be a novelty for veg lovers but sorry to say that the waiting time for just 2 dishes was 35 mins long, that too in peak hours and the paneer masala curry was a bit exorbitantly priced for the small joint it was - (this considering we can have equallygoodveg food in other joints) on the whole though the taste of the food was amazing, the pathetic service and rates might rattle you! the chocolate pan in the end was a sort of pacifier. the place may be recommended but for those who'd like to overlook the abovementioned issues!

as a foodie, i was spellbound by the amazing food, impeccable service by all the staff, great recommendations with agoodamount of knowledge about the menu especially mr.prakash.
