the tempura maki was just delicious. i think the veg paradise maki needs avocado or more cream cheese to round off the taste. highly recommend.

bao bao!

for me food is not just about the taste, it's also the aroma and texture.

taking about texture, i'm in love with the korean fried chicken bao at @soysoiindia
the softness of the bao buns, that crispiness of the korean fried chicken and ice berg lettuce and the flavours *yumm*

pathetic quantity for a huge price. there was hardly any tofu in it...maybe 4 or 5 small cubes max. most of it was gravy. awful.

translucent cover with core packed with prawns- the dumplings were totally worth it. the bao says pork belly and although tasty, didn't have any pork belly- but the pork pieces were well cooked and flavoured well nevertheless.

the food was amazing, the ambience was great, good quantity for great price. the service was also amazing. loved the place, definitely gonna revisit..

been to this outlet couple of times, always the staff is so accommodating. great pan asian food. protocols were followed for dine in as well as for delivery.
we even got a sweet hand written note from the team, that was really sweet of them...definitely recommended.

amazing sushi. think one of the few places in chennai that offers tasty, quality, and well-packed sushi! try their spicy mayo along with any sushi you buy. it adds flavor!

ngl it was all pretty good except for the noodles. ridiculously oily and spicy, had me taking a dump pretty much the whole of the next day 🥵🥵😤

easily among the best pan asian restaurants in chennai. i avoided visiting them for the longest time after seeing their pricing on delivery apps, while the actual dining in was a lot more easier on the pocket - meal for 3 cost us about 2k.

particularly loved the khao suay.

the service was laudable, especially considering how crowded the restaurant was.

ambience is fun and worthy of a fine dining. only negative here would be how congested the seating arrangement seemed, especially considering we visited in december 2020 (covid times).

would love to visit them again and try more of the non vegetarian dishes next time.

to start off, we absolutely loved the ambience and service by mr. muksidul. service especially was excellent. we had more of the sushi, especially the salmon and ebi maki. we absolutely loved it. the truffle and edamame dumplings were to die for. the ribs were some of the best i've had in chennai. and the lotus stem and phad thai were excellent. overall, it was an amazing experience and i will definitely recommend it. i'll be coming back soon too.

i've been to soy soi atleast 20 times in my life, i've brought my family, friends etc there. but my latest visit has let me down and i won't be visiting there again ever.

me and my friends came there for dinner, food was average for some reason, we tried a must try in veg and it was extremely garlicky, asked them to replace it and looks like they got the same food back reheated because it was smokey. we did not eat the food, they offered to give some other veg dish but we did not want it. i decided not to write the review because they apologised a few times.

3 days after the dinner i spoke to my friend saying i'm unwell, have a stomach upset he said he had the same issue the next day after soy soi. basically we fell sick after eating the food there.
