visited this place recently for an evening out with family.
the place needs an upgrade. the decor was run down and the lighting was bad. the quality of music and sound was jarring to the ears.
food was average, nothing extra ordinary.
considering that this area has a dozen other places, this one could easily be skipped unless the place is upgraded.

please be aware they charge gst on top of 10% service charge as well. this is illegal and major fraud. first of all there are hardly any waiters for whom you want to give service charge and entire menu and everything is digitised. check the bill attached. i would suggest instead of ruining your evening rather go to some other place with good food and ethics.

i came here to try out soda drink as the name of resturent. the soda drinks came was below average quality. it felt bland in taste, worse than roadside vendor and too sugarish. it felt like readymade syrup without any soda effect.
then comes pav bhaji more than 300 with very little quantity and again nothing special. better pav bhaji worth 70 is in roadsides.
the resturent is gimmick of authentic mumbai parsi looks but poor when it comes to food and taste delivery, and pricing.
overrated in one word!

enjoyed the meal. would like to rate the delivery executive 5star as well.

sodabottleopenerwala is a parsi style restaurant in lavelle road and it is located opposite to bmw & hd showrooms and next to biere club.
it is a large sized restaurant with a good ambience and live music in the evenings.
there is a seating arrangements available at this place and it can occupy around 25 to 30 people at a time. staff is very helpful and courteous.there is a dedicated parking facility available at this place for 2 wheeler and limited slots for 4 wheeler (valet parking).

sodabottleopenerwala have wide variety of food & beverage options like soups, salads, eggs, sandwitches, pav, kharri pizzas, mains, combos, sides,desserts and then the irani chai bar menu items.

it is worth visiting this place at least one time in the weekends for a cozy place, relaxed ambience, music and food. it is a best place to hang out with friends and loved one's and one can try delicious variety of food at this place like parsi and modern indian food items.

4. beach candy awesome okra
5. vegetable berry pulao
6. parsi dairy farm kulfi

overall taste of the food is very good since it is freshly cooked and served to us in a hot.

headed here to try some good authentic parsi food. however it wasnt really great. the interiors are nice but the service is really bad. we came here on a weekday for lunch and it wasnt really crowded yet the service was really slow. we ordered the chicken pattice for starters which was nice however the portion is quite less. we also ordered the rasberry soda, how ever they dont really serve the old school pallonji soda, this one is their own version of the soda with fresh raspberries. for the mains we ordered the berry pulao chicken combo and the egg wrapped kheema pulao along with some salli botti which was average but again the quantity was less. we also ordered the patra nu macchi with lemon rice which the staff told us would take 20 mins to prepare. we waited for 40 mins and the dish hadn't arrived yet. we kept asking the staff for the dish at which point he stopped coming over to our table. at some point the dish did arrive however it was tasteless and not worth the wait at all! not gonna visit again unless they improve their service.

plain tasteless omelette

one assumes that the paav must heated over the pan & vada hot... but here vada was cold & paav so so... don't be excited to see quantity of chutney in the box.. it hardly a spoon.. the box from down is elevated... thus quantity appears more .

i love love love this parsi joint. the berry pulav is to die for! cocktails are amazing too. great service with valet ! will go back a hundred more times!

no taste

sodabottleopenerwala brings the cafe culture of mumbai to many parts of india, including the city of bengaluru. bengaluru has always had a food culture and unique experiences, and sodabottleopenerwala adds to that unique experience one can have. located on lavelle road, sodabottleopenerwala has been a hotspot for foodies in and around. we had the following while we were at sodabottleopenerwala.

veg food was very expensive for the average taste. i had a berry pulao and other veg starters. the ambience was great though.

no fries sent along with the pav

the place reminds you of old town vibes with loud bollywood music and the mumbai irani cafe vibes. the bun maska is one thing i'd come back here. the food overall is good. the irani falooda is also a must try. the quality of the bread here is amazing. bun maska is a must must try.

terrible service, rude wait staff and the kitchen is extremely slow. the service staff is inexperienced and rude and do not respond to any questions
