please be aware they charge gst on top of 10% service charge as well. this is illegal and major fraud. first of all there are hardly any waiters for whom you want to give service charge and entire menu and everything is digitised. check the bill attached. i would suggest instead of ruining your evening rather go to some other place withgoodfood and ethics.

headed here to try somegoodauthentic parsi food. however it wasnt really great. the interiors are nice but the service is really bad. we came here on a weekday for lunch and it wasnt really crowded yet the service was really slow. we ordered the chicken pattice for starters which was nice however the portion is quite less. we also ordered the rasberry soda, how ever they dont really serve the old school pallonji soda, this one is their own version of the soda with fresh raspberries. for the mains we ordered the berry pulao chicken combo and the egg wrapped kheema pulao along with some salli botti which was average but again the quantity was less. we also ordered the patra nu macchi with lemon rice which the staff told us would take 20 mins to prepare. we waited for 40 mins and the dish hadn't arrived yet. we kept asking the staff for the dish at which point he stopped coming over to our table. at some point the dish did arrive however it was tasteless and not worth the wait at all! not gonna visit again unless they improve their service.

sbow is yourgoodold-fashioned irani cafe in the heart of bangalore's cbd. the seating is simple and well laid out, and the music is mainly retro bollywood (not at all times). the ambience has an inviting and comfortable feel to it, nothing feels intrusive.

the items to order here are definitely the parsi mainstays like the chicken farcha, mutton dhansak, and the kheema. these dishes are absolutely great on flavour. the dhansak was served in a typical steel layered lunchbox that i liked! as far as meat is concerned, go for the chicken and mutton dishes. the seafood dishes can be given a miss.

as for dessert, the mousse was great. there are also a decent amount of alcohol and beverage options, i recommend the raspberry soda in particular!

some downsides, quite a few items in the menu are not available at all times/served only on specific days. the service is a bit sluggish too, but the staff is cooperative and polite. prices for some dishes may not be justified by the portion size.

overall, a great place to visit in bangalore for the irani cafe vibe, with agoodamount of spending!

i had high expectations as it was mentioned as chef's special , but it wasn't evengoodenough where do i start
the bread was hard and stretchy
the tomato wasn't cut properly how can a chef make a mistake like that
it looks nothing like the picture they have mentioned
the taste was just okay okay, too much onions which took over the taste of the other ingredients.
overall really disappointed

it's one of a well known parsi restaurant that was on my list for a long time. have gone there for a sunday lunch. this place is prettygoodin terms of covid protocol. they've kept the tables in between free to ensure social distancing and they've given separate sanitizer dispenser on each table.
coming to the food we've tried chicken farcha, kundapuri prawn, salli boti and berry pulao. chicken farcha and salli boti were amazing. a little bit disappointment with chicken berry pulao and kundapuri prawn although. altogether it's a nice place.
rating break up:
ambience: 5/5
portion size : 5/5
food: 3/5

what to say of the place. classical old bombay feels with witty parsi humour, including naughtier ones!
right from entering the place, you get transported to old bombay.
the food is worth drooling over, with generous helping of love andgoodfood and spices.
top it up with some bun maska and irani chai and you are sorted!

went to soda bottle opener wala for an early dinner on my way back from the airport with the hubby. we were terribly hungry when we got here and if you are too, the quickest thing you can get here while you wait for the other food is their 'vada pav'. so so yummy!

for starters, we had a mushroom pepper fry which initially came under seasoned with salt but they were quick to correct it and it was then the yummiest dish ever. we ate the plate clean.

we also tried their infamous crispy corn bhel which came in a small steel shattal with a side of imli and hari chutney. this dish is a bhel puri with a twist. extremely yummy and tangy. loved it.

to top it all of, i had to try their classic irani chai, which came with a side of khara biscuit. after adding sugar as per my taste, the chai is so so so sogoodfor your soul. we indians and our chai!

the biscuit was so buttery and salty and amazing. it went perfectly as a dip-dip in the chai.

the music here is amazing, their waiters are so sweet and kind. the ambience is very cosy and old indian style. lovely, quirky place that i would definitely visit again and again.

one of my favorite places for having the feel of irani culture. the music here is comfy, and true to the feel of theme. i ordered an irani chai and bombay rasta sandwich. the sandwich portion size was good, and stuffing too isgoodto taste. it has potato, beetroot, and other vegetables. irani chai is also awesome and what i love even more is the nankhatai they give along with it; the biscuit. the service here takes bit time. and cost is bit on higher side. overall a great place to stop by and have chai in the rain.

my experience of iran / parsi food and it was an really unforgettable experience the food was delicious and beyond expectations!

the staff is reallygoodand especially people with physical challenges are given opportunity to work and that's amazing opportunity.

never mind to pay hefty amount for the delicious but still prices are bit costly.
